Rundes Ding hier also.

Highlights include the previously mentioned match, the BCC match and promo, and Hangman's great "heel" promo. A huge downside of the episode was Julia Hart almost betraying the Varsity Blondes, which I felt was the perfect time to do, instead of a tease. I also felt that Thunder Rosa and Serena Deeb's promo was just awkward, and didn't feel right. I hope the promo isn't foreshadowing a boring match at Double or Nothing. Solid show, but there were some downsides. 7/10"

[3.0] "If you missed this show, you missed nothing. Some of the matches served their purpose, but that's about the best I can say. The BCC trios match was a low point for me and the main event was a complete failure and made an already below par episode worse. Darby/Sting, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal/Sonjay Dutt and Jamie Hayter/Toni Storm/Ruby Soho/Britt Baker all had short backstage talking segments and apart from Baker, I like all of those people but none of these segments really did anything for me. Jade Cargill and her 'baddies' also had a short backstage talking segment which was decent and definitely the best of the bunch. Adam Page cut a decent heelish in-ring promo and the Gunn Club/Acclaimed segment was fairly amusing. The Rosa/Deeb segment was painful, they're both good wrestlers (although I can't remember the last time Rosa had a good match) but neither are good on the mic, Rosa in particular is a terrible talker, I remember months ago her cutting an awful promo on Jade on an episode of dark and she has not improved one iota since then. The Blondes/HOB segment went nowhere and it was booked abysmally. Also, Pillman's acting before he got fired up was horrendous. That said however, when Black cornered Julia Hart, JR's "Look at her little lips" line cracked me up for some reason and was absolutely the highlight of the entire show."

Shame there's no Trio's title isn't it? so what's left for them to do? W Morrissey was a nice surprise and really took it to Wardlow - who only really came back after his botched Moonsault. Santana/Jericho was ok. Rey Fenix Vs Dante Martin was a fun show. Main Event was very slow and seemed to lose the crowd. Best bit of the whole show was William Regal's promo vignette."

[4.0] "The worst Dynamite in a long while. Only the Owen Hart Cup qualifier, the BCC match + Regal promo, and the Wardlow post-match segment were particularly good. Jeff Hardy should probably not be in singles matches any longer, in order to reduce his workload & save his body. Also his Swanton is just murder on whoever he hits it with. Main event was oddly paced, not bad but not great. I appreciate the attempt to pay respect to the title and to ROH, but it didn't generate the excitement the show needed. Julia Hart should have turned tonight; missing out on it is a major whiff. For months, The House of Black have been spinning their wheels, waiting on trios titles or a Death Triangle match. Give them matches to build them up, not just dark room promos. I enjoy AEW's emphasis on long-term storylines, but there needs to be balance. Some angles are not made to stretch longer than a month, and this is one of them. Get it over with and move on. All of that said, I was disappointed by the show. It's the weakest showing from AEW I can remember in a long while. Far from unwatchable, but certainly underwhelming."

[4.0] "A fairly weak episode. Jeff Hardy is just a few inches away from a horrible landing every time he performs that Swanton and I have to say that I have very little interest in seeing him in this tournament. The Jericho vs Santana and co. stuff hasn't grabbed me either. It feels like a non-starter. Tony Khan makes the mistake of thinking the AEW audience have a broader perspective than they do. The average AEW fan only watches AEW and WWE. With Martinez still finding her feet in AEW and Deonna doing most of her recent work in Impact, the main event felt like a poor choice for that spot. Both women were hamstrung from the start by an audience who lacked familiarity with them. The writing was on the wall after every reference made to Morrissey was a WWE one. He's a face in Impact and just recently cut an emotional promo about how he overcame alcoholism and turned his life around. I get that he came in as the heel here but it was still a bit disheartening that the crowd were chanting dismissive WWE references at him, as well as the classic AEW "Bring 'em in, job 'em out" approach being applied to two Impact wrestlers on one show. Someone a while back posted a fan theory online about Black's evil eye makeup getting bigger and consuming him to show that evil has won him over. Tony Khan obviously read and liked the idea because that's playing out with Julia Hart. It's a bit melodramatic and supernatural-leaning for me. The Wardlow stuff is still pretty good, though, and it seems to be working really well."

Rey Fenix and Dante Martin stole the show, they should have been put at the end, the impression would have been better in the end. Chris Jericho and his gang are already starting to get a little bored, their union lacks diversity in actions. Wardlow is cool, it is clear that he is trying. Serena Deeb has the right to ask for a title opportunity, now I wonder if she can win... Pillman Jr. said everything correctly and I even thought that they could win the fight, but alas. BCC proved again that it is one of the best aspects of AEW with another showcase against another formidable trio from The AFO. Wardlow had a very compelling challenger in Morrissey who brought his best for the time given and had a really entertaining match. The Hangman is back & has become edgy! I totally dig this side for the upcoming feud against CM Punk who is an all-time fan favourite and can't wait to see how it mixes up with Punk's attitude. Santana's underrated singles action was witnessed again but Jericho picked up the win as predicted. Varsity's Brian Pillman Jr. had a decent promo and a follow-up that almost happened but gets prolonged even far. Dante Martin & Rey Fenix stole the show with scintillating action all over the ring. Both flew like anything and showed their athleticism to the best level. Thunder Rosa had her next challenger as expected in Serena Deeb. The mic work was neither the best nor the worst but I'm completely into their match at DoN. The main event was a great technical slugfest between two of my fav women in the league currently irrespective of the lukewarm crowd response. Martinez winning was a bit of a shocker at first but made sense after a while since she's with AEW & could easily be used in ROH. This episode of Dynamite was another super-hit to the ranks of great episodes where the action was good to great as well as the storytelling towards the upcoming shows."

[5.0] "This episode felt very underwhelming overall. Fish-Hardy was an outright bad match, with the blame resting primarily at Jeff's feet. He simply can't go anymore, which is understandable given the style he's wrestled throughout his career, but it's past time for him to be having technical-based singles matches. The six-man tag was perfectly fine but pretty forgettable. Yuta taking the fight to The Butcher, a much bigger man, was enjoyable to see, but I wish we'd gotten a lot more interaction between Angelico and Bryan. The backstage segments around the tag title scene weren't perfect, but they were fun enough. Wardlow and MJF's feud is the most consistently enjoyable thing on Dynamite at the moment, and this was no exception. In fact, Wardlow was the clear MVP of the night, having a good match, a solid promo, an an awesome beatdown of an army of security guards, all in about fifteen minutes. I didn't like Hangman's promo at all - the delivery was pretty solid, but I think it's a total mistake to have Hangman work a more heelish character after the all-time great babyface run he's been having. Jericho-Santana had its moments, and it definitely felt like a heated grudge match, but it never really clicked into place. It felt a little stop-start, the finish was cheap, and Santana & Ortiz succumbing to the numbers game every single week has become tedious. The House of Black segment was a mixed bag - Pillman Jr is a mediocre promo, and Julia Hart's acting was only sporadically good, but I did actually feel invested in the teased heel turn, which I wasn't expecting. This story needs to wrap up soon, but it does at least feel relevant again. Fenix-Martin was a whole lot of fun. I do think the two of them are capable of a better match than this, but I enjoyed what we got. Rosa's promo got off to a good start, but it quickly went downhill when Deeb came out. Deeb is a weak talker, unconvincingly and dryly delivering generic lines, and Rosa didn't help by butting in with pointless objections and commentary. The main event was a pretty solid match, but the crowd was dead for it. Both ladies had a good showing but unfortunately all matches suffer when the atmosphere is so tepid."

I don't know why - maybe I set my expectations way too high for the big cards to the point that AEW has no chance of meeting them. I was thoroughly entertained throughout the show even if some of the matches/segments weren't that great. I really wish they just went and pulled the trigger on the Julia Hart heel turn - the slow burn is not helping anybody and will only continue to diminish the importance of it when it does happen. Hangman randomly cutting a heel promo was another lowpoint. I don't mind the twist in his story with Punk but I would've liked some kind of reason or provocation for it instead of him just coming back 2 weeks from a staredown with Punk and suddenly wanting to destroy him and burn his fans' shirts. On the flipside, the Wardlow stuff was fantastic even if the match with the debuting (or just making a cameo) W. Morrissey was middling and inferior to the Archer match last week. He is over AF and will be a huge star for AEW when they finally pull the trigger on his megapush. Also, I absolutely LOVED that the women's match got to the main event the show AND we get two women's matches Friday on Rampage. This kind of investment in the women's division has been sorely lacking and I can only hope that this trend of featuring them more prominently will continue."

Give them a feud where it actually feels like the opposition stands a chance. I liked the Britt/Hayter/Soho/Storm backstage skit. More proper women's feuds is always a plus. Wardlow and Big Cass had a fine hoss fight, but the ending felt very rushed. Jericho and Santana put on a good 10 minute match. Still not interested in this feud at all but the match itself was perfectly fine. I know I'm going to be in the minority here, but I hated the Fenix/Martin match. Just an absolutely bullshit spotfest with no selling and both men just trying to cram all of their shit into a short 9 minute contest. This had no story, an obvious result, and was just an acrobatics display. The House of Black/Varsity Dudes segment was absolutely shit. Terrible Pillman promo, a lame "turn to our side" angle, and HoB being booked to look like cowards AGAIN. This story should have ended months ago. This killed the crowd and was just cringe. The HoB and Varsity Blonds segment dragged out at the start too much. I liked the swerve with Julia and it made the storyline more interesting but it definitely should not have dragged out that much. Due to that segment being too long, the main event was only about 10 minutes. It started slow but picked up towards the end and could have got the crowd excited if given at least 5 more minutes. Overall a solid show."

Martin V/S Fénix tremendous, Dante originally entered as couples and has a better chance of reaching an individual Championship and believe me it will be, words are not enough to describe the match Main event honest opinion 2 people who chose the other company before AEW and Tony Khan still gives them a Dynamite Main event, that's how benevolent Khan is, he doesn't hold grudges."
