[6.0] "This was really just a 3-match show, with everything else being forgettable, but those 3 good matches were thankfully in the second half where you'd expect the better matches to be, which helped make this a more positive show than not. Rina vs Mai vs Waka was very generic and quite sloppy, even by multi-woman match standards. It tried to show off all 3 wrestlers' skills, but Rina was the only one that looked okay. At least they all had good energy. *3/4. Hanan vs Kohgo had lot of energy, a decent pace, and solid offence on both sides. It did unfortunately mostly eel like a mindless rushing through of moves and sequences, but everything was at least decent in isolation. Could've been solid with more time, but still fine. **1/4. Lady & Utami vs Momo & Ruaka was another fine but very short and forgettable match. Only Utami and Momo had anything of real value here, but they both just did a handful of moves and then only ever returned for some mediocre tag spots, otherwise relinquishing most of the time and focus to their inferior partners to have a number of weak interactions together. **1/4. Mayu & Tam vs Fukigen & Saki was okay. We sadly had generic Oedo Tai beatdown and cheating crap for the first half, but eventually Mayu and Tam made things fun with their signature stuff and their selling/bumping, even while not working that hard. Chemistry definitely wasn't the best all around, but it was mostly okay. Mayu and Tam's tag work was cool, even if not always the cleanest. **1/2. Giulia, Mirai & Thekla vs Himeka, Maika & Syuri was the first good match on the show, acting as a nice showcase for all 6 women, with good chemistry and intensity all around. There was no messing around with shenanigans or schtick here, just 6 wrestlers working. They did admittedly had a few over-choreographed exchanges and spots, but for the most part this was good wrestling with a nice variety of styles on display. The only somewhat non-entity here was Thekla, but the other 5 all covered well for her. It was clearly built up to be a draw but that didn't stop it still being engaging. ***1/4. Hazuki & Koguma vs Mina & Unagi was weak. Mina and Unagi may have some charisma and charm, but in terms of offence and general in-ring work they're pretty clearly below average. Koguma and Hazuki both had more intensity and fluidity with their offence, but they were sadly often forced to work down to their inferior opponents' level, plus it's not like their own work was ever especially impressive. Most of the sequences and spots here were okay but quite a few were somewhat uncoordinated, regardless of which pairing it was. **1/2. Kid vs AZM was really good. I had a few typical issues, like with Kid's inconsistent arm-selling and both their occasional no-selling of big moves, but for the most part I really enjoyed their strong chemistry as they raced around with slick attacks and exciting run-on counters. They also kept the action impressively varied as they mixed grappling, striking, high-flying, and high impact spots together. There was smart structuring too, as they did well timing when to switch from one distinct type of segment to the next, and AZM's eventual submission win was built up to very well with her various earlier attempts and general grappling wizardry. ***1/2. Kamitani vs Natsupoi was surprisingly really good and even my MOTN. I say that because I'm not usually much of a fan of Kamitani's work, and while I thought Natsu was the real star here, I did still think Kamitani eventually held her own quite well. The contrast in sizes was an immediately cool feature, as you either got the taller Kamitani sending the smaller Natsu flying and crashing or you got Natsu utilising her superior speed and agility to overcome her size limitation or even just choosing to match Kamitani with impressive power moves. Aside from some opening cheesiness, they ended up performing all their big spots and more complex sequences really well, and both ended up selling well and showing good emotion (though I still think Natsu was the more impressive one). ***1/2"

[7.0] "A strange show - this show is worth watching from top to bottom in a vacuum, but the build-up to last five matches was pretty much non-existent and payoffs were not designed to be anything that will be important in the future (AZM vs. SLK in the only exception, obviously). AZM vs. SLK is obviously the match to watch, but there's gonna be something for everyone in those last five matches."

[8.0] "Another strong show from Stardom. The undercard was largely decent but the two top of card matches delivered big time with Tall Saya vs Natsupoi being the best match."

[9.0] "STARDOM has been on a roll. Fresh new wrestlers, great in ring work, new & exciting feuds, And compelling storylines; Every show they have had in 2022 has been a hit. The last two matches on the card are especially great and is highly recommended for any professional wrestling fan. Even the undercard was good. MoTN: Starlight Kid Vs AZM ****1/2"

[8.0] "Another very good PPV from STARDOM, the clear Joshi standard going today. Two spreadsheet matches, a solid Tag title match, DDM tension continues to build and Momo picking fights with everyone. It's pretty hard to think this wasn't good. STARDOM continues to deliver."

[8.0] "Amazing show with only good matches from start to finish. Not only great matches, but also perfect builds for future feuds and matches, especially the ones happening at Ryogoku Kokugikan in March. 8/10"

[9.0] "A great show with 2 MOTYC in the Semi and Main Event. The show also had a great DDM vs DDM match that made me hyped for Syuri vs Giulia in march."

[8.0] "The first 3 matches on the main show were real solid enough, nothing glaringly bad, but the main draw of the show are the final 2 incredible title matches and the big DDM match. That is why you should watch this show."

[8.0] "Really solid show with no weak matches despite not having the strongest card. The High Speed and white belt matches took this event to another level though. The whole show was fun but those two matches are the ones you can't miss. At this point it has just become a tradition that Stardom's big events always deliver."

[8.0] "The last 2 matches really make this show a great one. Undercard is very solid even if the only match you need to watch from it is the DDM 6 woman tag. But yes AZM vs Kid is one of the best women's matches of the year and Saya vs Poi is great too."

[9.0] "On paper, this was an odd-looking PPV. Only one of the title matches felt like a PPV match and most of the main stars were on the undercard in tag matches. Well, it turned out to be an awesome show. The Future title match was fast-paced and really fun for a short match. The OT/QQ match was short with a nice battle between Utami and Momo, and the DDM vs DDM match was an awesome match that predictably went to a draw. The latter was really good, but the result was so telegraphed that I just couldn't get into it, no matter how many false finishes they had down the stretch. The final three matches floored me, starting with FWC vs. Mina and Unagi. I thought that match was the perfect length, was a lot faster paced than expected, and everyone did a great job. Mina and Unagi put a performance that was a lot better than I expected, and it made for an awesome match. AZM and SLK also did an amazing job, and even though there were some rough moments, I still feel the match deserves at least 4 stars. The main event had a bit of everything, including a bunch of stunning and risky spots. Some of them went a bit awry, but a lot of them hit just right. For a match that went over 20 minutes, it really flew by. The pacing of the show was mostly pristine, almost nothing dragged and the PPV portion was done within three hours. There were multiple developments that set up key matches for the Sumo Hall shows next month, including five title matches for those shows, some of which are premier quality matchups. This event exceeded my expectations as a whole. I was going to give it an 8/10, but then I had to look at my ratings for the matches again. There were four great matches to close the show, Mayu and Tam's match was delightfully fun, the Future title match was different and more palatable than a usual one, and the only match that didn't stand out was short. If the last PPV was worthy of an 8, then this one deserves more for being better overall, right? I certainly enjoyed it more than the last PPV, and will surely watch it again in the future."
