[8.0] "A very chaotic show with a pre and post-match brawl overload - and not in a bad way - and the multiman matches were better than the standard NJPW level undercard multiman matches. The main event itself was a decent match but there was no way it was going to top ZSJ vs Shingo from the prior day, but all in all a satisfactory ending for the cup."

[8.0] "The show started out with a quick match between BUSHI and Fujita, thought it was a fine match and I liked Fujita's dropkicks. [***]; Hontai vs. BULLET CLUB wasn't bad, had a great last few minutes. [*** 1/4]; CHAOS vs. Suzuki-gun was a good match with a great fight between Ishii and Suzuki [*** 1/2]; House of Torture vs. Suzuki-gun was a squash match, so I don't really care about it; Bishamon & G.B.H. vs. United Empire was alright, some solid spots in it [*** 1/4]; L.I.J. vs. House of Torture wasn't my type of match...I thought Hiromu & Takagi did well, and Hiromu landing an EVIL was cool [*** 1/4]; The final two matches is were it all picked up, the 8-Man Tag Co-Main was really good. Fujinami and #STRONGHEARTS were fun to watch, and the final part with Okada & T-Hawk was fun. [****]. New Japan Cup Final...it wasn't too bad. The start was a bit slow, but it was that clean wrestling kind of slow, and then it picked up and got even better. Love seeing ZSJ win the big one, and I hope he gets pushed to the moon [**** 1/4]. It wasn't a bad show at all, and it's a solid way to end the Cup. Hopefully the new title feuds are good. Not a bad tournament. Really fun show."

[7.0] "Today is the day, who will be the winner? ; BUSHI VS Kosei Fujita: I really liked this opening, Young Lions always have some interesting things to show, and in particular Fujita did very good here. [***1/4]; Ten Man Tag Team Match: I really think GoD bring something different to this sub faction of chaos, more speed, more force, and a very fresh style. The action here was good, and leaves the action open to keep developing the feud between these two factions. [***1/2]; Ishii, Yano & YOH VS Suzuki, Taichi & Y. Kanemaru: Also good tag team action. It looks like YOH has better chemistry figthing versus Suzuki gun. He did a really entertaining showing, and Taichi too. It will be really good to see Ishii and Suzuki clashing again in singles action. [***1/4]; El Desperado & T. Michinoku VS SHO & Y. Takahashi: I will just rate this as satisfactory, because shows HoT as very strong heels, but the match itself not even reached the minute. [***]; Great Bash Heel & Bishamon VS Henare, Great-O-Khan, Cobb & Ospreay: Like last night, a very entertaining show of tag team wrestling. Honma and Cobb did pretty good, and the other members colaborated well to put a good victory. Nice match. [***1/2]; H. Takahashi & Takagi VS Togo & EVIL: I was expeting a HoT winning but it didn't happen. Despite that fact, it was a good match. Takahashi showing his importance at NJPW, and Takagi just making the perfect company for him. It will be great to see them figthing for the NEVER title. [***1/2]; Tanahashi, Okada, Kojima & Tiger Mask VS CIMA, El Lindaman, T-Hawk & Tatsumi Fujinami: My god, they almost pinned Okada. Special match, that was as special as promised, that NOAH crew have been capable of show all of their wrestling abilities trough all the tournament, it would be great to see them make more interactions like this, maybe with real chances for winning belts. T-Hawk did great too, top player of the match. [***3/4]; Naito VS Zack Sabre Jr.: A perfect end to the New Japan Cup 2022. Zack just became a possible winner for me since he passed to the semifinals beating Will Ospreay, and now he is showing a mastarpiece of tecnhical and striking wrestling. Every part of the match was leaded by him, as a savage monster who wanted to take off Naito's head. He almost killed him with those Penalty kicks, absolutely brilliant effort. Good goood match. [****3/4]; Well, a great ending to this year's edition, all the show had at least satisfactory tag team matches, and at the end the MOTN was clearly the main event. Good show to watch. [***1/2]"

[8.0] "Good show to end the tour while setting up several feuds for Hyper Battle tour. Zack Sabre Jr is now a 2x Cup winner, which I never expected but will gladly take! Looking forward to Hyper Battle for the matches set up by today's show and the tour as a whole."

[7.0] "A proper go home show for New Japan Cup. Good final, not a masterpiece but still very good, the rest is fine, with the tag team bout against the GLEATs being very cool."
