[5.0] "I wasn't a fan of the opening cage match or the battle royal, I will say that Vampiro looks amazing and has gone through a incredible transformation. The scramble for the Latin and cruiserweight belts was incredible, some of the best lucha I have ever seen but Fenix winning feels wrong, the belts are not going to be seen for awhile now. Nothing really excited me after that but the matches were okay. Matt Hardy in the main event was fun but you can tell the audience wanted Jeff."

[5.0] "Here's a really typical AAA TripleMania, that's how many years I've been watching this show, I always see the same faces and the same staging of matches. There will always be some battle royal and the absence of important matches. There are a huge number of titles in the company, but why are they not protected? There is no competent structure, I want to see a smooth transition from normal matches to cool ones and see where the company is going. Unfortunately, all the problems of the company have been dragging on for many years. The shooting was poor, the picture quality was also low. Fans are willing to pay you, and you do the same thing in pursuit of money, it saddens me."

[6.0] "With the first two matches feeling like warm-up acts and there being several segments to the opening ceremony, this show got off to a slow start. Things picked up from the five-way match onward (which came at about an hour and 40 minutes into the show) but were still a little up and down. A slow start and a relatively weak main event drag my score down a bit, but I do think there's some fun to be had with the five-way, the women's mask vs mask match, and Villano IV vs Psycho Clown. Those matches all feel like extremes of their styles (spotfest/overbooking/brawling) so personal preference will likely be a huge factor on this one. My advice would be to skip the opening ceremonies and the rumble and save yourself about an hour and twenty minutes."

[7.0] "While some things didn't necessarily work for me, the heights this show reached thanks to both Ruleta De La Muerte matches and that 5 Way really helped make this a worthwhile watch."

[8.0] "I thought this was a great show all around. There wasn't a bad match on the card. The match of the night was easily the 5-way match for the Cruiserweight and Latin American Titles. That match is a match of the year candidate for sure. For those who want to see what AAA and Lucha Libre is about, this show is for you. 8/10"

[10.0] "Easily the best of the TripleMania XXX series of shows to date and perhaps even the best show in Mexico this year. Nothing on this show was bad, save for one hiccup at the end of the show. The opening cage match was a lucha cage match, in that it was too long and there was too much wackiness (hello El Hijo del Tirantes and audio issues), but the women all worked hard and the match wound up being okay. Copa TripleMania was also too long and featured some terrible brawling by Cibernetico and Pagano, but like the cage match featured an overall good effort and enough decent moments to make it acceptable; it was nice to see Hamburguesa get a big win too. From there the show was lights out. The five-way match is one of the best things you'll see all year, a constant, all-action tour de force of lucha libre from five of the best. Pentagon and Demon overachieved massively, with Pentagon perhaps getting the most dynamic performance of Demon's career. Tormenta vs. Flammer was just the right mix of great wrestling, storytelling and overbooking, and thus worked. Psycho Clown vs. Villano IV was extraordinary, a violent brawl with Psycho breaking out all his tricks while Villano proved his fight with Park in Monterrey was no fluke. And all things considered, the main event overachieved too; Matt Hardy worked his ass off, Dragon Lee was sensational and Caballero and Dralistico were fine, at least until Dralistico decided to inexplicably do a moonsault to screw up the finish. No idea what that was about. Otherwise, this was an all timer of TripleMania."
