Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss's latently annoying comeback odyssey at the psychiatrist's continues tearfully during this episode. In between, Styles puts himself in the US title picture by exposing Priest as a tame paper tiger today. The Miz has a big mouth again, talks his way into a rematch against Dom-Dom and screws it up. This message takes far too long to get across. Bianca Belair once again demotes Nikki ASH to a mandatory task. Kevin Owens takes unspectacular revenge for the previous week, perhaps saving himself an annoying trip to the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, Lynch & Lita continue to simmer their petty feud verbally, while Doudrop is finally portrayed plausibly. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens is told backstage that there will be no use for him at Wrestlemania, thus quietly sparking Steve Austin's comeback story through the back door. That's not a bad thing, at least for now. The match between Riddle and Rollins starts off nicely but then turns out to be nothing more than a finger exercise in matchmaking. The resulting tag match brings names but no sense of sustainability. RAW is adequate, but in the end, I don't feel like the RTWM is picking up speed anywhere here. |

| 10 | 07.01.2023 | Telecine | 7.0 | Zuerst einmal: Picture in Picture finde ich schon bei Dynamite sehr anstrengend und bin dazu übergangen, es mittlerweile komplett zu überspringen. Wenn dadurch die reine Zeit der Show auf 2, 5 Stunden ansteigt, ist das noch ein zusätzliches Ärgernis. Abgesehen davon fand ich das Eröffnungssegment mit dem Quiz zwar irgendwie albern, aber doch auch unterhaltsam. Alpha Academy gegen Street Profits war dann ein ordentliches Match, bei dem es schon bemerkenswert ist, dass die Street Profits mittlerweile ziemlich deutlich besiegt werden. Wer hätte das zu Zeiten von Shorty G noch gedacht' Chad Gable finde ich als Heel sehr unterhaltsam. Alexa Bliss' Therapie-Segmente finde ich in der Kürze auch durchaus OK und Bliss zeigt ein paar gute schauspielerische Einlagen. Owens-Theory fand ich gelungen und das Tag Team Match im Main Event auch, obwohl der Weg dorthin mal wieder das typische Booking nach dem Schema F war, bei dem ein Singles Match nach Eingriff zu einem Tag Match wird. Doudrop-Morgan war auch ordentlich, wenn es auch schade ist, dass Morgan nicht an der Elimination Chamber teilnehmen wird. Lita und Becky sowie MVP und Lashley zeigen gute Promos. Bei Lashley kann ich trotzdem nicht daran glauben, dass der Title Run länger als drei Wochen gehen wird. Lesnar und Reigns ist als Title vs Title schon zu etabliert, dass man es jetzt nicht liefern würde. Also kann man insgesamt sagen, es war eine Show voller annehmbarem TV-Wrestling und ein paar guten Promos. Die Laufzeit war aber definitiv zu lang, wie meistens und dieselben Inhalte in einer zweistündigen Ausgabe von SmackDown hätten eine höhere Wertung bedeutet. |

The follow-up tag match was a fun sprint with Gable's wrestling becoming more interesting to watch. Lashley had a hero's welcome in Denver and his promo was solid and on point. Styles vs. Priest was short but a very good dose of smooth action and Styles winning the US title is not a bad idea either. Miz TV was a solid exchange between Rey & Miz while the latter's rematch against Dom had a payback angle play out. Bianca vs. Nikki was solid action while Owens vs. Theory was another great match similar to last week. Lita & Lynch had a good promo exchange with Lita gaining the upper hand which is fine. Liv vs. Doudrop was fine while Riddle vs. Rollins was slowly getting to the next level but ended in a predicted way. Alexa's therapy session was collectively decent enough. The main event was a fun showing between four of the prominent stars of the brand currently and it's a double sword decision. Booking Rollins as a strong Chamber challenger is fine but Riddle losing ahead of the Chamber & the Raw tag title rematch is a bit iffy. The same goes to few other matches where Owens won instead of Theory and Doudrop winning instead of Liv. This show was really good, in overall, with solid wrestling and good to very good progress of stories they had. 7.5 out of 10 points! |

Das hilft der Show schon, wobei man merkt, dass die Eröffnung oder auch die Lashley/MVP-Promo unter normalen Umstände knapper gewesen wäre. Die Eröffnung funktioniert trotzdem richtig gut. Gable ist auf dem Weg zum Star mit Wiedererkennungswert, die 420-Witze bei Riddle stehen auch Randy und insgesamt ist das wirklich unterhaltsam. Der Opener passt dann auch und liefert ordentliche Tag Team-Action. Lashley ist in seiner Heimat und wird entsprechend gefeiert. Nicht ganz so tief, aber dennoch eine entsprechende Darstellung. Bliss Therapie-Segmente funktionieren und noch ist offen, wohin es Alexa führen wird. Kann was. Priest kassiert nun etwas zu viel, aber Styles steht der Sieg gut.Gehe davon aus, dass man einfach zwei TV-Matches haben wollte, um Zeit totzuschlagen, aber vielleicht kann ja doch noch jemand nachhaltig profitieren. Miz TV ist dann auch etwas zu lang und so das zweitlängste Segment der Show. So begabt sind die Mysterios am Mic dann eben nicht. Das Match ist story driven, aber okay. Belairs Rückenwind-Serie geht weiter. So baut man eine Favoritn für die Chamber auf. Das 24/7 Title Piicture erlebt Comedy & Romantik. Well, geht an mir vorbei. Owens und Theory machen es ähnlich sehenswert wie in der Vorwoche, während Lynch und Lita ein wirklich gutes Segment liefern. Da passt viel zusammen und Beckys Punchline sitzt. Owens ist Backstage bei Adam & Sonya ähnlich gut aufgelegt - vergebens. Doudrop und Morgan mit solider TV-Action und zuvor passender Aufbauarbeit via Promo-Video. Der Abschluss der Show gehört Rollins & Co und das geht auch kurzweilig auf, ohne den ganz großen Schlusspunkt einer generell kurzweiligen Show zu setzen. |

All four men have great comedic timing, especially Chad Gable. The subsequent Alphas/Profits match was a solid sprint, with Chad Gable picking up his first televised pinfall win in nearly 2 years. Alexa Bliss' therapy segments are not very good, but it at least seems clear the direction is to get her back to the Goddess gimmick. The Lashley/MVP promo was fine. Cool to hear Lashley get such a warm reaction in his home town. Priest/AJ was a good match, but the fact Priest is eating pinfalls recently, and in this case in less than 5 minutes, is definitely a concern for his future booking. I don't see him going over AJ next week, either because of another DQ or he just straight up loses the belt. Miz TV segment was fun, if a little long. The match that followed wasn't much, 50/50 booking aside. Bianca and Nikki had a solid sprint. Nikki, despite her heel turn, has yet to win a match this year. This is what happens when you gut your roster I guess. Kevin Owens and Austin Theory had another good match together, but the 50/50 booking is annoying. Liv and Doudrop had a fun match. Sucks that Liv lost, but the fact she was in the Rumble so long gives me hope that she will continue to get a spotlight. Riddle and Rollins was okay if a little short. Impromptu tag was better, but why are people who are currently scheduled to be in the chamber eating clean pins? Again, another major issue with GUTTING YOUR ROSTER. Overall it was a good show with some good wrestling throughout, as well as a very entertaining quiz bowl. The 50/50 booking and continuous rematches are still an issue however, but this show continues to be better than SmackDown weekly. |

Gable gefällt mir richtig gut in letzter Zeit. Den Wettbewerb gewinnt die Alpha Academy nicht und somit erhalten RK-Bro ihr Rematch um die Titel. Der Opener war schlecht. Nachdem die Alpha Academy den Wettbewerb nicht gewann ist es vernünftig die Street Profits verlieren zu lassen. Leider sau kurz. Das Gegenteil von kurz ist lang und zu lang war das Lashley Segment was sich einfach zog. Priest vs AJ Styles war schlecht. Die nächste Pin Niederlage für Priest. Vielleicht wäre ein Heelturn Stand der Dinge hilfreich. Dominik vs Miz war sehr schlecht. Sowohl MizTV als auch das Match waren absolut nichts. Wahrscheinlich werden Rey Mysterio und Miz bei Elimination Chamber kämpfen. Die Women waren schlecht. Neben den beiden Damen haben Liv mit Doudrop und Rhea eine Chance den RAW Womens Champ bei Wrestlemania herauszufordern im Elimination Chamber. Eine Person ist noch unbekannt. Nikki ASH verliert weiterhin was gut so ist. Theory vs Owens war in Ordnung. Das Rematch von letzter Woche nur schlechter. Überraschend das Owens gewinnt gegen einen der im Elimination Chamber Match qualifiziert ist. Mal sehen wo das hinführt. Becky als Heel zieht nicht so. Niemand buht sie wirklich aus. Mit Lita ist es eher lauwarm. Cool das sie ihren Moonsault noch drauf hat. Die Women #2 waren schlecht. Das haben beide bei Main Event letzte Woche besser hinbekommen. Echt mies. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Rollins und Riddle im Singles Match war akzeptabel bis das DQ dann kam. Das Tag-Team Match verläuft dann deutlich besser. Echt keine gute Show. Die Show zog sich unnormal. |
