BULLET CLUB then beat Keita Murray and Jordan Clearwater in another okay match. Let's be honest. No one was watching this show for those matches. Now we get to the match people actually care about. Eddie Kingston and Gabriel Kidd put on a match of the night performance with one of the best matches in the history of Strong."

[7.0] "Perfectly acceptable undercard matches for a one hour TV episode, capped off by a must see, 90's style slugfest between Kingston and Kidd. I haven't checked out Strong since the pretty good Battle in the Valley event, but I heard through the grapevine that the Eddie Kingston v Gabriel Kidd match was worth checking out, so I figured I might as well check out the whole card while I was at it. I like how NJPW Strong has kind of found its identity in being a Puro style show with a heavy focus on mat/chain wrestling. Alex Koslov has improved in commentating, but you can tell he's still finding his footing. I felt that the lighting and camera work has improved at least slightly, giving it an underground club kind of feel. Nothing bad, but nothing worth going out of your way to see on the undercard, but I definitely recommend watching the Main Event."
