[7.0] "Probably my favorite of the early episodes. The opener and closer matches were both great; the veterans and young stars all looked amazing in there. The other matches were short, but most had a story element attached to it, and I enjoyed almost all of the promos and segments. MSK is the only real low for me, and that's because I just can't seem to care for them, especially knowing how both would end up. The show really found its footing here, IMO."

[8.0] "After watching the first few episodes of 2.0, I felt like the show had a lot of potential but was still in an awkward transitional phase, so I tuned out while the show found its footing. Now it seems the show has finally getting the hang of what its new identity will be looking forward after watching this episode. Matches are short and essentially squash matches, but I think thats okay. The show is a fast and fun way to present new talent, with lots of good promos and packages and nice build to Wargames. The opener was great, and the main event was a banger as well. Overall an easy and enjoyable watch front to back."

[6.0] "The newer crop of wrestlers are starting to get their footing in NXT. Favorite match was seeing Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen get a win over The Grizzled Young Veterans. GYV hasn't really had much momentum lately anyway so giving Briggs and Jensen a win was a good decision."

[7.0] "Finally a nice episode of NXT 2.0 with good matches and good storytelling from start to finish too. Good."

[8.0] "NXT 2.0 should stick to this norm. Two pretty good matches to start and finish the show, and in the middle, yes, some squashes, but with a purpose. Maybe it's the fact that they're building towards a PPV, but the show felt more focused and solid. Like I mentioned, the squashes and even the majority of the segments had a concrete purpose this time, opener match was pretty decent, and the main event was good. There are still some acts that are not of my total liking (the Veterants and their 'thieves' gimmick, Joe Gacy competing for the Cruiserweight Championship for some reason, Kyle's still stuck in the tag division, MSK looking like stoners lol), but this week any of them didn't take a lot of TV time, so that's a plus. WarGames took more shape, and next week Kay Lee Ray and Dakota Kai will face in a Ladder Match, which, quite honestly, should be a great match."

[7.0] "Yes there were still too many squash matches in the middle of the show, but this episode built up WarGames really nicely, including the supporting matches, and the men's WarGames which is an updated version of Millionaire's Club vs. New Blood from WCW (not that it was great, this one should be better), and confirmed not only Kay Lee Ray's participation in the women's match, but also set up a sweet Ladder match against Dakota Kai next week."

[6.0] "It seems that maybe things are starting to come together for NXT 2.0, as for probably the first time the character work seemed mostly solid and coherent. The actual wrestling as well was good for the most part, although it was harmed by the amount of screwy finishes and matches that were more storyline than action. Mandy and Cora especially looked like they were setting up for a good match, but it was too short, and ended with interference just to set up Wargames. That said, the two longer matches were very good, and Wargames is starting to look interesting, so this show did its job as a whole."

[6.0] "I thought this was a pretty decent episode. Opener was a great showcase for Waller. Women's tag was fine, kinda surprised Indi did the job, even if she technically wasn't focused on the match. Escobar squash was fine, he really needed it after a fairly lengthy hiatus. Cora beating the women's champion is quite baffling. Seems they are strapping a rocket to this girl, but she still seems green to me. Ivy Nile has star written all over her, glad she got some ring time tonight. GYV losing to Briggs and Jensen was another weird decision. Main event was good, excited for the war games matches, even if it's painfully obvious Gargano is eating the pin on his way out the door of either NXT or WWE in general. Decent show overall even if there were still too many squashes, things are starting to take shape on this show at least."
