[8.0] "This was a wild show that makes me wonder what they have left for the rest of the tour. The opening match between Minoru Suzuki and Fred Rosser was the weakest match on the card, and it was still better than a fair number of the previous best matches in NJPW Strong. Tom Lawlor defended his Strong Openweight Title against Ren Narita in the match of the night. Finally, Jay White and Robbie Eagles had a great match."
[8.0] "Good matches with the MOTN being a tie between Narita/Lawlor and Jay/Robbie but I'd give the edge to Narita/Lawlor but not by a lot. Good 3 match event in my opinion. Not anything else happened and it served its purpose. I see it was a special and all matches delivered in one way or another."
[7.0] "This is a good Strong episode to watch if you're really bored and have nothing else better to do. The opener is a good match, the Strong Openweight match is great, and the main event is really good. Entertaining three-match show here."
[7.0] "This was a strong episode, no pun intended. Rosser proved himself against Suzuki, Narita was put on the map in a great fight against Lawlor as White and Eagles had quite a good storytelling match. However, NJPW USA's production in a pain in the ass, it sucks and possibly kill my interest."
[8.0] "This was far and away the best episode of NJPW Strong so far, in my opinion, and the influx of main-roster talent is no coincidental factor. The last two matches were both great, and watching Minoru Suzuki is always a pleasure."
[8.0] "NJPW Strong is just a really good show for pro-wrestling fans with really good pro-wrestling matches. Not a pleasant/fun/good thing to say, but when Alex Koslov will be replaced on commentary with someone who's better than him at the job, this show will be even better."
[7.0] "The show is pretty good and we have three very interesting matches with the second being a very cool one and the main event being a proper match to be in that position."
