Auf der anderen Seite fand ich Janela vs. Crowbar fürchterlich, der Auftritt von Blue Meanie, das Aftermath und Kayla Rossi haben das Ganze dann ein bisschen gerettet Der Rest war halt da. 5 Punkte |
| 11 | 18.10.2021 | Sandmann | 5.0 | 7 knackige Matches bei Elevation diese Woche. Ford gegen Mimi war ok. Schön das Mimi auch mal die Chance hatte. Warum die Jobber noch jemanden dabei hatten erschließt sich mir nicht, aber machte auch nix. Kurzer Prozeß von den Inner Circle Leuten hier. Dann kommt schon das MOTN. FTR haben wirklich viele gute Matches in den letzten Wochen. So auch hier wieder. Moriarty und LSG passen aber auch gut als Team zusammen und so hat man hier den Old School Stil gegen den neuen Indystil und das passt einfach sehr gut zusammen und hat gute Laune gemacht. Conti gegen Mo hätte ich gerne noch etwas länger gesehen. Glaube da hätte schon was Gutes bei rumkommen können. Crowbar nochmal zu sehen war sehr nett. Das Match gegen Janela war ganz nett und das Erscheinen vom Blue Meanie hat für einen guten Pop gesorgt. Mir gefällt die Kombi zwischen Janela und Rossi übrigens sehr gut. Soho gegen Sakura war in Ordnung. Lulu müsste noch viel mehr eingreifen. Die gefällt mir gut. Der Main Event war das typische Midcard Atomicos Match. Warum Johnson den Pin fressen muss erschließt sich mir zwar nicht aber immerhin ein Sieg für HFO. Das wurde auch mal wieder Zeit. |

No matter how talented they were in their heydays, as a promotion you should honour those who were in the generation or two before, and it was nice to see them get a spot on this show. The highlight was Lee Moriarty's showing in his tag match against FTR, while I was disappointed that Ruby Soho and Emi Sakura didn't get a lot of time, though I did like Lulu Pencil's interactions with Soho. |

| 17 | 12.10.2021 | WeHateOkada | 4.0 | Even factoring in the low expectations that the Dark shows naturally carry with them, this was pretty poor. The squashes were mostly fine, oddly representing the high points of the broadcast, in particular Tay Conti's exhibition. FTR and their opponents felt like an awkward clash of styles, the pace dropping up and down at a jarring rate depending on which team was in control. Crowbar and Meanie were fun novelty appearances but it didn't translate into an actually good match, as Crowbar's in-ring acumen is far from anything to be impressed by. It also involved poor promos being cut before and after the match, although Sonny's run-in was at least something exciting to liven things up. Soho-Sakura felt like it cut off before it could really get started, but Soho looked perfectly decent in what time she got. The main event was a let down - uncharacteristically clumsy work from some typically reliable performers, and a dampeningly anti-climactic finish to the show's biggest match. Anderson & Johnson are developing some nice in-ring rapport as a team but this should have been a lot better. |
