[5.0] "Woof. This was a one match show in the BOSJ Final and that was fantastic. A couple of decent matches in there but everything else was meh. An extremely disappointing end to a very seesaw year for NJPW."

[8.0] "A pretty good show, nothing bad, but only one match worth going out of your way to see. It was fun watching it live, and having Chris Charlton back with English commentary was great, because as good as Kevin Kelly is it is hard to listen to a one man commentary booth. Main event was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen, Tag finals was okay as expected. Shibata's announcement, while expected, was great and full of emotion. The rest of the card was fine, but mostly filler, with only post-match stuff actually setting up Wrestle Kingdom matches. I definitely recommend the BOSJ Finals Main Event, rest is up to you if you want to watch."

[8.0] "A pretty solid (albeit unspectacular) undercard and a great announcement for Shibata. WTL finals were better than expected with the right winners. The main event will be VERY divisive due to the SHO interference, but for me, the main event was absolutely fantastic."
