116.09.2024BlackVikingGZ7.0As usual, the most interesting things about the shows are the angles developments leading into the big show in the future. First, the Orndorff and Garvin affair is getting a bit tiresome. Here Orndorff deteats Reno Riggins on a decent squash match and then after the match he is interviewed by Bob Caudle. Caufle informs him that at Thanksgiving Thunder he'll be wrestling Garvin and Danny Davis on a handicap match. I loved Orndorff facial expression while hearing that. Then the RnR Express defeat the team of Paul Lee & Jeff Daniels and after it Cornette and The Heavenly Bodies are interviewed. Stan Lane and Tom Pritchard talk about their rivalry and that they want to end the RnR Express careers. It was a good promo to promote the upcoming show. The most interesting part of the night was Dutch and Dirty with Dutch with Bob Armstrong as the guest. They show last week's attack from Kevin Sullivan and then the commissioner tells us that Sullivan has a grudge because he wasn't allowed to be a part of SMW as he is extremely violent and is banned for most promotions in the USA. Armstrong keeps Sullivan's ban of TV, but he still can compete on live events. Then he announces that he has called an old enemy to take on Sullivan: The Mongolian Stomper. After that a paid advertisement from Kevin Sullivan is aired, that was a nice touch because he can't appear on the shows, but that's a paid thing that doesn't involve SMW. Sullivan is sit down in front of a fire with his Stalkers and Brian Lee's tombstone and he cuts a dark promo talking about how the busted body of Brian Lee belongs to Armstrong and that all his actions were because of he was rejected of wrestling in SMW. Then he says that wrestling in being changed and sanitized to get the violence out of it and make a kids show, but he isn't for kids and was sent into exile and strap into the tree of woe to never return because he was a bad influence, he is whats wrong with society today. And that's the thought that made him come to SMW, where all is real. Then talks about how the Stomper might be a warrior in the past, but now he is only an errand boy. Him as his followers will stand at the top of the company and that all the sins they commit are Armstrong's fault. Then Tracy Smothers won a match against Robbie Eagle where he looked good. And finally the main event, a decent match where The Stud Stable win thanks to Dutch Mantell replacing the referee. It was a good show and I specially enjoy all the Kevin Sullivan stuff, he is a grat addition to the roster and gives a new edge to the company.
