[10.0] "Henry Vs Finlay Belfast Brawl was middling, Matt Vs Kozlov was real bad, and the women's eight man tag was horrible, but Batista Vs Orton was solid, Cena Vs Jericho was really great, Punk Vs Mysterio was fantastic, and the WWE World Title triple threat is absolutely incredible with Jeff finally becoming world champion. Overall WWE Armageddon (2008) is a brilliant show thanks to it's in ring product and all timer of an ending with Jeff."

[7.0] "Definitely worthy of a year-ending PPV - there was plenty of good to be found in this show. There is some filler, especially in the first half - Kozlov couldn't wrestle a broomstick to save his life, Shawn's promo with JBL came up short, and the Santa's Helpers match seemed like a means to an end to get a pop for Mae Young. The rest of the content was great. Punk v Mysterio could've been higher on the card, Henry v Finlay was a pretty decent extreme rules match, and both the heavyweight non-main events were solid matches. Nothing but the Punk/Mysterio match came close to the energy of the main event, but that's pretty hard to do with the names involved in a triple threat for the WWE Championship. Armageddon '08 will always be remembered for Jeff Hardy's title win, but what a moment to be remembered for."

[6.0] "A pretty enjoyable PPV with a great feel good moment to end the show. They opened up with a slog though as Kozlov vs Matt Hardy doesn't really scream a wrestling classic, but then thankfully Punk and Mysterio got the show on the right track by delivering a fantastically paced babyface vs babyface contest. Finlay vs Henry was a forgettable WWE brawl, Batista vs Orton had a star power and history between those guys going for them, while Cena vs Jericho was a big improvement from their Survivor Series Match. And then the main event was a pretty well structured Triple Threat with Hardy looking very good there, although I still think that it would be a better choice to put the title on him after finally beating Triple H one on one, but it was a great moment nevertheless. Also there was a promo from Michaels that I didn't particularly like and some bullshit with Khali being Punjabi Playboy, so there were some skips too."

[7.0] "There was a bit too much filler on this show for my liking, but there was some good wrestling to be found as well. Im not someone who thinks that a wrestling show has to be nothing but wrestling matches, but I think that on pay per view events like Armageddon the focus should be more on the in-ring and less on long promo segments and/or skits. Overall though there was enough good stuff on this show that its an easy thumbs up, but it would have been nice to have a bit more wrestling than we got and slightly less filler in my personal opinion."

[6.0] "The women's match and especially the segment that followed were just awful. The other matches were okay."

[8.0] "A great PPV with a satisfying main event. Some questionable booking with Cena still winning the WHC despite Jericho's strong run prior to Survivor series and now. Punk and Mysterio have great chemistry with each other, maybe a disspointing one with Orton and Batista but all in all the main event filled the void. Hardy finally winning the WWE championship after a strong run as a face was probably one of the best things to happen in 2008. Shame his reign lasted only a month but overall the event was great"

[8.0] "The final pay per view from 2008 is great and closed a good Wrestling year. The main event is worthy, a great Triple Threat match with a satisfying ending. Cena vs Jericho is okay, not really a must-see. CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio is another good match. Batista vs Orton is acceptable but not the "clash" they promised, still enjoyable. The rest is okay, it's a good event."

Jeff Hardy Vs Edge vs Triple H ****1/4. MOTN was the main event. Punk Vs Mysterio and Cena vs Jericho were also very good. Overall great show 8/10."

[8.0] "A very solid PPV with good matches at the top. A couple of segments did nothing for me and the divas match wasn't great (though it wasn't offensively bad, either), but otherwise it was a very good show."
