Der 21er Halloween Havoc geht mit dem ersten Match Richtung Push für die von Mandy Rose geführte Gruppierung, was ich leider wirklich nicht so ganz nachvollziehen kann. 'I'm gonna Home Alone the crap outta this place'. Mit Ausnahme dieses Satzes ist das erste Segment um die Ankunft von Trick Williams und Carmelo Hayes am angeblichen Lumis-Anwesen schwerer Dünnschiss. Egal, wen Joe Gacy da akquiriert hat, es genügt mit oder ohne Henchman locker für den dauerjobbenden Malik Blade. Die Open Challenge der Diamond Mine beantwortet Odyssey Jones, der sich aber ganz anders als jüngst bei 205 deutlich schneller gegen Roderick Strong geschlagen geben muss. Und die große und breite Raquel Gonzales verliert ihren Titel an einen Only Fans Account. Auch da mal 'Herzlichen Glückwunsch! ' aus Westfalen. Und was zum Henker sollen all die Kack-Skits mit Hayes & Williams eigentlich? Soll das lustig sein? Sorry, aber nein. Chucky übrigens auch nicht. Wären die Lumberjacks nicht und das Tag-Titelmatch wäre dann etwas länger, hätte es auch mehr Punkte gegeben. Am Ende stimmt mich nach all diesem Booking-Wahnsinn das letzte Match milde. Nachdem, was man da mit Rose und Konsorten abgezogen hat, war ich ja ob des Ausgangs plötzlich ungewiss. Aber man behält erst einmal den Titel bei Ciampa, lässt ihn Breakker lehren und liefert einen soliden Hauptkampf. Aber meine Fresse, ist der Rest hier ab und an tollwütig. Aufgerundet, dank Ciampa! |

| 24 | 01.11.2021 | Robert Taylor | 7.0 | Da es ja um eine größere Shiw handelt und es wohl vorerst kein Takover mehr geben wird, habe ich diese Ausgabe zum Anlass genommen zum ersten Mal bei NXT 2.0 rein zu schauen. Finde es durchaus interessant, sie bunten Farben stören mich weniger, es gibt viele neue Gesichter, ein paar alte Gesichter fehlen völlig und es fühlt sich viel mehr nach einer normalen WWE Weekly an. Kürzere Matches, ein anderer Fokus, sowohl inhaltlich als auch bei den dargestellten Wrestlern und alles etwas kurzweiliger. Den Opener fand ich in Ordnung, allerdings gab es ein paar Unsauberkeiten. Gary vs. Blade und Strong vs. Jones fand ich relativ umspannend und speziell diese kurzen Matches werden mir vermutlich nicht gefallen. Genauso die Videos mit Hayes und Trick, dir in dieses Horror House von Dexter und Gargano gehen. Damit konnte ich wirklich gar nichts anfangen und das war für mich schon ziemlich schlecht. Danach gibt es aber nochmal 3 größere Matches, die die Show wieder hochziehen. Mandy Rose zeigt sich hier deutlich verbessert und darf tatsächlich den Titel gewinnen. Muss man nicht gut finden aber das Match war eigentlich echt in Ordnung. Schauen wir mal. MSK vs. Imperium fand ich auch ziemlich gut und ich hoffe vom zweiten Run der beiden sieht man mal ein bisschen mehr, Bron Breakker hat natürlich eingeschlagen, wie eine Bombe und steht hier direkt im Main Event. Auch hier ein sehr ordentliches Match und auf Breakker können wir uns alle noch freuen. Insgesamt eine ordentliche Show mit interessanten Ansätzen. |

Still not a whole lot of development between Gacy and Harland still waiting to see what direction it goes next. Odyssey Jones being fed to The Diamond Mine with presumably either a rest week for Legado Del Fantasma or the potential for The Creed Brothers to step up to the plate and challenge for the tag team straps. Mandy winning her first championship in WWE is always pleasing to see someone who has been in the company for half a decade now and a new direction as the leader of Toxic Attraction. It will certainly be an eye opener to see such a compelling storyline bubbling away under the title picture with Dakota and Raquel seemingly underway, will be fascinated to see who steps up to Rose, maybe Io or Kay Lee Ray or a new 2.0 wrestler such as Cora Jade or Ivy Nile. MSK feel like they could be put to better use on the main roster as the bizarre dynamic of the fans having a pre determined opinion on the duo and they have gained success instantly on NXT, and could do with something new e.g. being pushed to the main roster, granted earlier than most people would expect, however how can you envision the journey for MSK in NXT 2.0 to be smooth sailing with the current attitude towards them from the 2.0 audience. Imperium discreetly teasing some sort of fracture from Walter with their promo prior to the match. And Bron Breakker certainly an eye catching star in the making with his Steiner lineage shining throughout any match or segment he features in. Probably in the small minority who believes the loss for Breakker will do more to help him than instantly powering through the "Old Guard" in Ciampa. Hopefully a new challenger can go toe to toe with Ciampa in the coming weeks to come with Breakker potentially moving on to some NA title success in the coming weeks and months to come. |

Io Shirai hatte einen krassen Aufprall gegen Ende und mit ihrem und Zoeys Titelverlust kann ich nur hoffen das Io Shirai diese Shitshow von Brand verlässt. Für ein Ladder Match eins der schlechteren sogar weil die Hälfte der Damen einfach zu grün ist. Dennoch freue ich mich für Gigis und Jacys Titelgewinn. Blade vs Gacy war schlecht. Strong vs Jones war schlecht. Zwei unnötige und kurze Matches die den Schrott wiederkauen den NXT 2.0 seit Wochen abliefert. Allerdings gefällt mir Gacy langsam mit seinem neuen Handlanger. Die Women #2 waren in Ordnung. Ohne die Street Fight Stipulation wäre das garantiert ein schlampiges Match. Das man das für möglich hielt das Mandy einen Single Titel mal gewinnen wird da würde man als bekloppt beschimpft. Sie konnte auch nur gewinnen weil Dakota zurückkehrte als Sensenmann und Raquel angriff. Lustige Segmente mit Lumis Horror Haus die Williams und Hayes zu Tode erschrecken. MSK vs Imperium war gut. Das beste Match. Schön das Imperium sich nach Monaten Leerlauf wieder fangen konnte. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Ich hatte gedacht hier würde man alle Titel wechseln lassen aber Ciampa verteidigt überraschend. Ausnahmsweise ganz gute Show. Ich bin mir aber sicher das die Show nächste Woche wieder zum Schrott zurückkehrt den man seit Beginn sah. |

Im Opener bieten die Damen gute Spots, solides Wrestling, jedoch hier und da schwache Arbeit zwischen den Moves. Der Ausgang war abzusehen, der Run von Io und Zoey schlichtweg mau. Carmelo und Trick liefern einen unterhaltsamen und passenden Ausflug. Kann man so machen und hat den Beiden durchaus eine Bühne geliefert, um erfolgreich Charakterpflege zu betreiben. Grayson Waller ist dann doch der Host oder auch nicht. Das Wortgefecht mit LA Knight ist okay, das Debüt für Solo Sikoa auch. Joe Gacy und Harland gehören definitiv zu meine 2.0-Lieblingen. Das ist rund und funktioniert. Mit dem richtigen Aufbau wird Harland hier an der Seite vom begabten Gacy zum Killer-Gimmick. Kay Lee Ray erinnert per Videogruß an ihr Dasein. Okay, aber so ganz fügt sich die Gute nicht mehr ein. Die Halloween Party Backstage hat so seine Momente und liefert passendes Spotlight für einzelne Wrestler. Die Episode um Strong & Co ist dann jedoch etwas entbehrlich, da das 205 Live-Rematch hier schwächer war und das ganze wenig Mehrwert hatte. Bei Imperium setzt man weiter auf Deutsch & Englisch und das gefällt. Dakota Kai war nach dem verpassten Draft eine mögliche Wahl für das Comeback und die Story mit Raquel bietet sich noch mehr Inhalt. Deren Entrance war Bad Ass, das Match ordentlich und Finish + Aftermath dann ganz passend. Dass MSK die Titel abgibt, habe ich nicht kommen sehen. Gutes Match und MOTN! Das Main Event macht es aber auch sehenswert, liefert einen ähnlich interessanten Twist und unterstreicht, wie gut Breakkers Aufbau bis dahin war, aber betätigt glücklicherweise nicht zu früh den Trigger. Das hätte das Ganze dann auch etwas zu plakativ gemacht. Unterhaltsame Show! |

For the good, I loved the segments with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams going in the house of Lumis, really hilarious stuff! I also enjoyed the Halloween Party segment. Toxic Attraction dominating the night in gold was awesome as well, and Imperium winning the Tag Titles was a big shock! However, these were the only good moments of the show in my opinion. The bad of this show was The Chucky Segments. I love Chucky, but not a big fan of the current show, and it felt cringe having him as the "host" when in all actuality, it was a big advertisement for the show where it's on USA. The Women's Tag Match was not a great match and had a lot of botches. Sure it's awesome that Toxic Attraction won and there were some awesome moments here and there, but it was mostly bad because of the botches. We had two nothing matches in Joe Gacy Vs. Malik Blade, and Roderick Strong Vs. Odyssey Jones. Mandy Rose Vs. Raquel was a good match, and I felt the best match of the night was the NXT Tag Team Match. and then finally The main event between Tommaso and Bron had some awesome wrestling, but I did not like the finish. Given how NXT has went through a complete rebranding and how Toxic Attraction, which is a new thing thanks in part to the new NXT, won all the titles, it made sense to put the belt on Bron, and I felt like it wasn't too early to put it on him. Really sucks how he ended up losing, but it does set up an even bigger story with Tommaso which is awesome. I just would have done things differently if it were me. Also after the first 30 commercial free minutes were done, there were WAY too many advertisements and screen by screen moments that sucked along with repetitive ads as well. |

Couple of good spots but mostly a bunch of wandering around, waiting for set-ups, and botches. Joe Gacy is still the strangest thing on NXT because I can't figure out what the point of it all is. He's just such a hodgepodge of ideas, and that was before... I forget what his name is, the skinhead dude, joined the storyline. I dunno, who cares. We get another Malcolm Bivens Diamond Mine promo, which I will never tire of, followed by a woefully short Strong/Jones match. After this and their 205 match I want to see these two have a proper 20-minute Takeover match, because if anyone can make Odyssey Jones shine at that level it's Roddy Strong. Women's Championship match was enjoyable but not great, and of course it's nice to see Dakota Kai back. Tag Title match was MOTN, super fun and enjoyable. Main event was also solid, a good chance to really show us what Bron Breakker is capable of and a glimpse into how great he'll become in the future. Glad to see Ciampa retain too. The highlight of the show for me though was the absolutely ridiculous Dexter's Haunted House vignettes. I'll admit I'm a sucker for cheesy comedy horror, so this was right up my alley, with some particularly great performances from Hayes and Williams. Plus you could tell everyone involved had a blast making it. The backstage party segments were fun too, with good humor and briefly progressing a few storylines in the process. I will say though all the stuff with Grayson Waller sucked, because Grayson Waller sucks, but hey at least Solo "Extremely Obviously The Usos' Brother" Sikoa is in NXT now. I didn't even mind the Chucky segments, although that shade toward the Steiner Brothers was so fucking petty lmao. But yeah, fun show, easy to get through after those garbage first twenty minutes. If that match wasn't total dogshit I might've even given this an 8. Of course this was a special episode of NXT 2.0 so we'll have to see if they're able to keep this level of quality on regular weekly episodes going forward. |

There were references to the Rick Steiner/Chucky segment from decades ago with Chucky talking about knowing Bron as a child which was absolutely surreal. |
