| 1 | 10.02.2024 | Ruthless Attitude | 5.0 | Strong main event on this show with Randy Orton and Chris Benoit having an good rematch from last year's Summerslam classic. Unfortunately besides that, this episode of Smackdown has the same problems as Raw has had with the Summerslam build where theres just not a lot interesting happening with most of the roster and the wrestling for the most part isn't very good. Rey and Eddie both have a decent promo building to their Summerslam clash, but that Dominik storyline is completely stifling to work around and it shows. The mixed tag Booker/Sharmell vs Mercury/Melina isn't as bad as it probably could have been and does start planting seeds for Booker to turn heel after the match. Again though, most of the matches are just kinda there and Christian again is just being wasted when he gets attacked by the Mexicools for no reason and give the fans of the Canadian nothing at all. The world title feud isn't feeling very important either. JBL vs Funaki is just a prolonged beating that feels like it goes on forever and Batista only interrupts when JBL uses the chair when could have come out a lot sooner! I hate this type of booking because it is happening all the time with Cena and Batista and it makes them really difficult to cheer for! |
| 2 | 19.01.2024 | BLooD | 3.0 | Schlechte Ausgabe von SmackDown. Das Anfangssegment war in Ordnung. Eddie hyped das Ladder Match für Summerslam und geht sicher das Dominik mit ihm nach Hause geht. Mehr nicht. Der Opener war schlecht. Melina und besonders Sharmell waren echt Krampf im Ring zu sehen. Jillian zieht Sharmells Beine weg damit Melina so den Sieg ergaunert. Animal und Heidenreich vs Jobber war grauenhaft. Erneut Jobber und weiterhin extrem unnötig und langweilig. Funaki vs JBL war schlecht. Funaki sollte das Opfer vor Summerslam spielen und wurde komplett zerstört bis Batista eingreift und JBL verjagt. Dean vs Mysterio war schlecht. Es gibt erneut eine Peep Show mit ihm selbst als Gast. Passend in Kanada wird er dadurch gefeiert. Die Mexicools laden sich selbst als Gäste ein und attackieren Christian in Überzahl. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Wie schon letztes Jahr holt sich Orton in Kanada einen Sieg über Benoit. Der Undertaker erscheint dann auch persönlich und attackiert Orton. |

It took him going to TNA for WWE to take him somewhat seriously as a main eventer, even if it was on ECW. |
