[6.0] "Step up from the last show by CZW. Despite a few awkward finishes, there was no BAD match. The Rockin Rebel stuff does not age well at all and gets really uncomfortable, easily the worst part of the show. Nothing I'd seek out unless I was a CZW fan but there's some cool spots in just about every match."

[6.0] "CZW's early 2001 starts on a hot streak. Crazy/Tajiri was a wonderful surprise opener with fluid, quality wrestling, but got cut short by Nick Mondo's interference, whose spoiler heel gimmick is rapidly becoming a nuisance on the shows. The triple threat match was the shallow plodding affair you would expect, as they rapidly looked lost out there and grinded out monotonous strike exchanges until interference led to a merciful ending. The Pastor Jim Show was long, aimless and ultimately incoherent. Rebel/Ruckus was dangerously offensive and gives a spotlight to Rockin' Rebel that he simply doesn't deserve. Briscoes/SAT was actually fun, as they went the crazy spotfest route and their dives sequences provided the excitement the previous matches lacked, as well as making the best of a dirty canvas due to previous shenanigans, so I credit them for providing decent entertainment even if they would get easily upstaged later tonight. The Ladder Match honestly could and should have used the ladder more, but it still is enjoyable cruiserweight spotfest action with Nick Mondo getting his comeuppance. Berk/Acid actually had decent wrestling action with a nice finishing sequence, but the booking of the match into a contrived and obviously staged time limit draw, followed by a prolongation that reversed the logical flow and results really took away from the match quality and purpose, even more in hindsight. The Iron Man Championship Scramble match started hot and intriguing, but got lost into the garbage, a very silly ending and a convoluted post-match brawl that simply made no sense at all. Justice/Tajiri was a great main event, abandoning the wrestling focus of their first encounter and deciding to be a big brawl, going all around the arena and showing tremendous intensity, culminating with the surprise appearance of Mikey Whipwreck that the crowd ate up. The show alternates between awesome match and mediocre trash, but I come out of it happy and ready to see what's next."
