[8.0] "This wasn't as good as Resurgence, but it was still very good. It opened with a very good match between Josh Alexander and Yuya Umura. The promising match between Stray Dog Army and VLNCE UNLTD was derailed by an unfortunate injury to Chris Dickinson. Alex Zayne, Alex Coughlin, Rocky Romero, David Finlay, and Fred Rosser picked up a win over Team Filthy in a very good match. Clark Connors and Karl Fredericks got the win over The United Empire in another good match. Will Ospreay and Ren Narita delivered a slower paced, but quite enjoyable match. Moose and Juice Robinson had a good match, that still managed to be one of the worst on the show. Kazuchika Okada and Buddy Matthews had another good match, although it also under delivered. Finally, Tomohiro Ishii won the NEVER Openweight Title from Jay White in the match of the night."

[3.0] "The only match I actually enjoyed was Moose vs. Juice and even that wasn't anything to write home about. Most matches were meaningless predictable filler. This show really felt like a cash-grab."

[7.0] "That was a very cool event. Production stills shit but nevermind. I just felt like that most of the Japan guys put on their trademarks, they did well, of course, but they wasn't here for putting bangers. Maybe Ospreay did the most. Crowd added something as well, they were hot, for sure."

[8.0] "A card where every match was enjoyable in its own way. Unfortunately, the production held this back. Once again the NJPW World version was a screengrab of the Fite broadcast, which is even more evident if you watch the Japanese broadcast (complete with buffering from the original video). Not the first time this Fite deal has resulted in a tacky workaround for NJPW World. The show was also plagued by questionable camera work and multiple audio issues. However, I will say that something about the colour of the mat, the distorted audio, the lighting, and smarky chants like "Camera man" (after a camera man was knocked down) gave me real ECW vibes. This show had to be good to overcome all of the above and I think it was. As far as pure "watchability" goes, I think this is one of the most watchable cards I've seen this year, especially looking at the number of matches, and that's without any one match being truly exceptional, in my opinion."

[8.0] "Aside from Chris Dickinson's injury I liked everything on this show. I think this is what NJPW fans wanted to see out of a big show in the USA. Hopefully NJPW can keep providing good shows in the USA."

[7.0] "I really liked this show, but I did feel like there was a bit too much filler. Also, the Moose/Juice match didn't really do it for me. But that main event was excellent."

[7.0] "Good show but not on the level of New Japan's typical output. That doesn't mean it's not worth checking out though. Most of the card was a lot of fun. I feel bad for Chris Dickinson, who may have tore his hamstring during his match. He looked like he was in a ton of pain and unable to walk. He had to be stretchered out of the ring. Another cool highlight was Osprey confronting Okada, demanding that Okada challenge the ' real IWPG champion'. Possibly setting up a showdown at Wrestle Kingdom."
