[8.0] "This would have been a 7.0 if it wasn't for the special moment that is CM Punk's farewell from ROH. It's a very fitting farewell to the former ROH Champion and an emotional send-off. From a purely in-ring perspective, the show is still pretty good, but nothing truly spectacular, and a couple of the midcard bouts underwhelm (including some very weak booking in the tag title match). Still, Rave vs. Aries is really good, while the Rottweilers vs. Joe/Lethal tag and Strong vs. Hardy are both great matches. The main event is more about the moment than the match itself (although the match still isn't half bad), but it's still very entertaining and certainly an emotional occasion that elevates the significance of the show as a whole and creates an atmosphere that pushes the event up to an 8.0 for me. Also notable is the finish to Steel vs. Collyer. The match is nothing special, but the finish is a tremendous visual that is honestly 'must see', so if you're checking out this event make sure you don't skip over that one."

[6.0] "Alright show. Nothing overly special, even with this being Punk's final ROH appearance, but it still had some good matches and one that was very good. The 4-corner survival match was a fun fast-paced spotfest, featuring some nice run-on sequences and multi-man spots. Even Delirious was entertaining with his wild man' comedy spots. ***. Steel vs Collier was technically sound but pretty dull in terms of creativity and character work, and it really had no reason to, well, exist, at least not on this card. Pretty crazy finish with how Steel was absolutely pooled in blood, though. **1/2. Rave vs Aries was decent. Aries was typically energetic, flashy, and hard-hitting, while Rave, despite being a bit sloppy at points, was a good cheap heel with solid offence and good selling/bumping. ***. Lethal & Joe vs Homicide & Low Ki was very good and by far MOTN, which is unsurprising when seeing the names involved. It was intense the whole way, with everyone throwing hard strikes and showing great intensity to make it feel like a real, hate-filled fight. It officially ended as a DQ after Homicide went after the ref to break up Lethal's pin over Low Ki, but then all 4 took the match to another level with their aggressive post-match brawl, which made for some really exciting spots. ***3/4. Whitmer & Jacobs vs Gibson & Spanky was alright. There was nothing especially impressive about anything they did, but they had good technique and chemistry all around. There was a pretty good pace and sense of intensity as Gibson and Spanky made their comeback, and Spank's sudden heel turn was quite exciting, though it was a shame that the match ended then just as it was getting good. ***. Roddy vs Matt was quite long but ultimately still quite good. They did a bunch of nice technical work with some decent physicality before moving into some really good strikes (mostly from Roddy, of course). Matt's control work was good, and Roddy's babyface-selling (including his long-term leg-selling) and explosive comeback were both good. The story of Roddy refusing to give in and eventually pulling out the win was quite satisfying, and Matt was a good foil to oppose him. ***1/4. Punk vs Cabana was quite good. It was quite a technical 'ition for the 1st half, with some entertaining moments of comedy as they went through all their grappling exchanges, but Punk got annoyed at Cabana's constant antics and became more heelish and aggressive, which made the 2nd half more fast-paced and impactful. Punk, as usual, was constantly a bit sloppy with his more physically demanding spots, but Cabana was always able to carry/cover for him in those moments. Their rapid trades and big moves in the 2nd half were quite good, though the decisive 3rd fall was really anti-climactic. ***1/4. The pre-match and post-match celebrations/tributes for Punk were definitely touching. Bye Punk! Thanks for all the good-but-not-great matches."
