[2.0] "Once again the only consistently good thing about Raw is the Shawn Michaels heel promos as that final segment with Hogan where he superkicks Lawler was a really good close to the show. Other than that and a decent intense Edge promo in the middle of the show, this was a horrible episode of Raw with no good matches at all and lots of time wasting nonsense! The WWE Title feud is just insufferable at this point and Cena is just being a terrible hero because he only runs in and makes the save for referee Chad Patton after he is beaten up by Jericho, Carlito and Bischoff for several minutes. What a waste of time! Angle vs Eugene is another awful feud and their segment falls off a cliff because Eugene is booed in Angles hometown and the 3 minute match stipulation rules is unclear to the viewer. It ended in a pointless DQ anyways so they can just waste Angle's Summerslam appearance on this nonsense! The Hurricane and Rosey have their first match on Raw in months despite being Tag Champs and lose a throwaway mixed tag match that was useless and the women are never tagged once! Shelton Benjamin continues to be wasting away, this time insultingly jobbed out to Chris Masters. A time wasting show wouldn't be complete without yet another degrading Divas Search segment! There's just so little of interest happening and it makes the whole show a chore to sit through!"

[2.0] "Outside of the final segment, a very bad Raw. Like your typical 2005 Raw, this show was heavily lacking in quality wrestling, however, it was lacking the quality in-ring promos as well, aside from the final segment. Also, Shelton was red hot just two months ago and now he's being used to put over Chris Masters who clearly wasn't ready for a main event push at this point."
