[7.0] "Another good show in the books. X-Pac/Rikishi is a quiet little mini-banger for the era. Lots of star power and strong booking around Angle's love triangle."

[8.0] "Another good SmackDown where the SummerSlam card is finally starting to come together where Rock is against both Triple H and Angle in a Triple Threat match and theres a tag tean match in the main event where Triple H ends up walking out on Angle as he gets picked off easily by Rock and Undertaker and Stephanie puts herself in the firing line when she checked on Angle after the match. E&C are also a lot of fun to watch where Edge starred in a movie, his co-stars are there and look kinda bored as they just want to meet The Rock. Gangrel makes a fun appearance as well. They have a match with the Dudleys, which was looking really good and then they get another intentional DQ. The Hardys attack them and they have a fun stare down with the Dudleys where it looked like they was going to fight, but they work together to destroy E&C with table and ladder spots instead. Awesome. This show is more focused on storyline angles to set up the upcoming PPV, but it's still great to watch just as WWF has been consistently good throughout the year."

[8.0] "The main event of SummerSlam is set so other things on the show can finally be set. Edge & Christian backstage, in ring segments continue to be a highlight every week. Main event was a nice little match that saw dysfunction between Angle and Triple H"
