Das Handicap Match der Frauen ist dagegen ziemlich durchschnittlich. Ansonsten kann man hier auch noch das Promo-Segment von Miro und Eddie Kingston hervorheben, die ziemlich markige Zeilen haben und einen wirklich heiß auf das Match bei All Out machen. |

The content wasn't very exhilarating, it was moderate quality overall. The MOTN being the main event closely pursued by the opener and a good squash match with an illogical and subordinate ending phase. To cover the positives, it would definitely include Dustin coming out now to challenge the unstoppable force to be reckoned with in "Malakai Black" and I must laud AEW management for successfully provide reasoning as to why the sinister Black just moves out of the ring when a new competitor approaches and that is because he wants everything on his terms and time. The booking direction has finally been launched towards a productive pathway. Miro/Eddie segment was absolutely marvelous and makes Miro look like a smart champion as he was able to lure Eddie into his trap but Eddie got his payback later on. Also that 'redeem deez nuts" line was awesome. lol. Darby/Garcia cut good promos before the main and everything revolving around them plus Punk into the mix was highly enjoyable. No doubt about it. The negatives of this show include the standard quality before the PPV, nothing really stood out. It was slightly above average at best. Also, Hayter giving up and surrendering after getting hit by Statlander really doesn't serve her character in a positive way for someone who's billed as a power-hitter and a legit bad-ass. That was stupid, plain stupid. Also, why was the story of Garcia replacing Allin as Punk's opponent in the event of a Allin defeat kept restricted to the commentary desk. That was weird and peculiar. They could have centered the match around it and Garcia would have a stronger motivation now as to put Allin down for good and fulfill his wish of facing the best in the world. However, that was not to be , and I am still confused about it. |

Das Dustin Rhodes nach dem Match noch auftaucht ist logisch und macht Sinn. Der zeigt danach auch eine ordentliche Interview Promo. Darauf folgt eine starke In-Ring Promo von Miro, ich muss sagen God's favourite Champion ist im Moment eines meiner Highlights in AEW, ebenso wie Eddie Kingston. Und der steht Miro dann am Mikro in Nichts nach. Schönes Face-Off dass richtig Bock auf das TNT Title Match macht. Das Damen Handicap-Match machte storytechnisch absolut Sinn, war wrestlerisch aber definitiv nicht besonders ansehnlich, musste es hier aber auch nicht. Es hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Das Splitscreen Interview vor dem Main Event war stark, 2.0 und Garcia gefallen mir mehr und mehr. Das Match selbst hat auch Spaß gemacht. Daniel Garcia ist ein unfassbar begnadetes Talent und konnte Allin einen harten Kamp liefern, ich freu mich schon auf künftige Schandtaten des Jungen. Aftermath hat dann auch gepasst und endete natürlich mit einem schönen Staredown zwischen Punk und Allin. Gute Rampage Ausgabe |

Ist ja gut gemeint, aber hat doch einige Lücken meines Erachtens und geht für mich am Ende nicht passabel auf. Um beeindruckend zu sein, muss man auch beeindrucken und das klappt bei Black gerade nicht immer so. Die Konfrontation zwischen Miro und Eddie ist fein so und bringt endlich den passenden Vibe in die Story. Die Damen sind dann halt da und liefern etwas viel Schema F ohne Mehrwert. Dieses Spltiscreen-Ding als feste Nummer für den Main Event find ich ganz cool, klappt auch hier, wenngleich Darby monoton wie eh und je ist. Main Event liefert ordentliche Action und generell den besten Part der Show. Aftermath geht durch und erfüllt den Auftrag. Als Show ist das okay. |

Ich mag Lee Johnson aber auch sehr udn wenn er längere Matches gegen Topstars zeigen kann ist das immer ne gute Sache. So kann er Black auch das ein oder andere Mal in Schwierigkeiten bringen. Gutes Match und der nächste auf der Liste ist Dustin Rhodes. Um die Fehde der Frauen ein wenig zu befeuern gibt es das Handicap Match. Das hat seinen Zweck auf jeden Fall erfüllt. Statlander wirkt gut in dem Match. Ein Singles Match gegen Hayter würde mir gefallen. Das Baker und Hayter hinterher Rebel opfern ist eine interessante Randnotiz die vielleicht einmal wichtig sein wird. MOTN ist natürlich der Main Event. Allin und Garcia haben ein fantastisches Match hier. Starkes Wrestling, gutes Storytelling. Allin mit seiner Rücksichtslosigkeit und Garcia mit seinem Submissionstil. Passt super zueinander, Top Match. Gerne wieder. |

Entrance von Black Hammer Geil! Wie immer, auch bei der WWE war der Entrance von Black schon brutal Gut. Match ist inordnung und Malakai Black Prügelt sich weiter durch die gesamte "Nightmare Family". Handicap Match der Women's war auch Inordnung. Natürlich stärkt man hier Kris Statlander und sie geht eindeutig Over. Main Event wieder sehr stark. Daniel Garcia wird immer mehr zu einer Großen Nummer bei AEW und ist ein wirklich Starker Wrestler. Darby Allin gewinnt aber natürlich vor seinem Großen Match bei All Out gegen CM Punk. Bin extrem gehyped auf dieses Match (****). Insgesamt eine Solide bis Gute Rampage Ausgabe. |

Schlaue Promo von Miro, ein wütender Eddie und ein Miro als Brecher? Ja komm, da bin ich sofort dabei. Auch Darby gegen Garcia konnte einiges, Punk nochmal zu bringen vor heimischen Publikum war ebenfalls ein schlauer Schachzug. So langweilig ich Mark Henry als Kommentator neben Excalibur, Taz und Jericho finde, so unaufgeregt passend macht er sich als Interview vor'm Hauptkampf. |

Genau wie wir alle das zu Beginn des Jahres prognostiziert haben. Diese Unberechenbarkeit ist für mich die größte Stärke von AEW. Der Hauptkampf bietet den absoluten Klassiker mit langer Heat-Phase vor dem Face-Comeback, aber dann wird Darby, kaum hat er sich fast umgebracht, so minutiös durch den Fleischwolf gedreht, dass man wirklich fast an das Wunder glauben kann. Dasselbe gilt beim Opener. Natürlich wird Malakai genauso wenig verlieren wie Darby nach ihm, aber dann spielt er so lang mit seinem Fressen, dass dieser minimale Restzweifel bleibt. Und exakt der reicht aus, um dich bei der Stange zu halten. Die Damen waren ... da. Mir fehlt der Zugang zu sowohl Britt Baker als auch Kris Statlander, dazu ein schlappes und unbeholfenes Handicap Match. Eine gute Pause, um sich von Malakai und dem Miro-Kingston-Gerangel zu erholen. Rebel ist nicht mehr ganz der Körperklaus aus ihrer Impact-Zeit, aber auch nicht so viel besser. Wenn nach so vielen Jahren immer noch jede zweite Sekunde im Ring mit dir aussieht, als wäre es nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis du dich oder deinen Gegner auf die Intensivstation beförderst, solltest du vielleicht eine andere Profession ausüben. |

Das Segment rund um Miro und Kingston spinnt die bisher recht kurzfristige Story noch ein wenig weiter. Das Match kann nur ein Knaller werden! Statlander sieht dann in einem Handicap Match gut aus, das Match war aber eher zum vergessen. Der einzige wirkliche Kritikpunkt an der Show. Im Main Event trifft Allin erneut auf Garcia was sich zu einem gute Weekly Match entwickelt (*** 1/2). Dass Punk dabei ist macht Sinn und er bringt mal wieder seinen Kontrahenten over. Am Ende hätte ich mir noch gewünscht, dass Darby bei seinem dive versehentlich Punk trifft um dem ganzen noch mehr Feuer zu geben. Aber auch so hat das Ende gepasst. Rampage verging mal wieder wie im Flug und bot gutes Wrestling und hat mich noch heißer auf All Out gemacht. |

The opener was great character work, the confrontation between Miro and Eddie Kingston was great and the main event was awesome. The handicap match was the weakest part of the show, but it got to show of Kris Statlander (whom I like) as a strong contender for Britt on Sunday, which was the point after all. Normally a handicap match should favor the team instead of the individual, but absolutely nobody takes Rebel serious as a threat (and nor are we supposed to as fans), so the result was completely fine. |
