[7.0] "The in-ring content was a mixed bag. Kyle/Austin was MOTN closely followed by the tag team match. Drake/Knight was more of a angle thing, Franky/Jacy was a cool squash and the breakout tournament was too short to reveal much but I was impressed with both Chase but especially Jones despite the minor botch. Main event fell flat , was never a good thing on paper and in practical turned out even worse due to the unexpected injury. The backstage segments and promos were a strong point of the show. Joe's search for Kross culminating with Kross attacking Regal only to boost the already very frustrated and raging Joe. L.A angle was good with Grimes being mentally tortured after being manipulated. I also noticed that Kyle and Raquel lack big time in the promo department and require much work since they are the ones leading their respective divisions. Hit-Row/LDF interaction was very enjoyable too. It also seems like the cracks in the WAY are becoming more deeper too. What will it lead to is on my mind and hope it leads to something exciting'. MSK being cut off by Imperium while he narrated the story of the reason behind the naming of MSK was hilarious. We never got to know , WHY''. Dunne/Lorcan vs Thatcher/Ciampa and Reed/Cole next week should be interesting. A (B-) show for me nearing a C+ grade. 7 it is for this episode."

[5.0] "Poor episode. The only things that saved this show were the backstage segments and promos. The matches were average quality. The main event was a total disappointment. Maybe if the match wasn't stopped earlier than planned, it would work out somehow. I liked the Karrion Kross-Samoa Joe-William Regal storyline."

[7.0] "starting off with the diamond mine tonite i see.. so far this isn't a faction i've gotten into as they're a little on the bland side.. the match was fine but nothing special so maybe not the best choice to open the show with. the slow build with frankie monet continues and the addition of mandy to the equation is interesting, monet will hold gold in the company at some point as they build her into an unstoppable force. kyle and austin put on a really good match, the progression of austin since he has been with the way and learning from the likes of gargano has been fun to watch and has done wonder for his stock. odyssey jones wrestled shows some promise but the match itself was nothing special. the womans title match was going well until xia lis injury but theres tons of promise there with her so lets hope they revist this match after li revovers and the la knight drake match was surprisingly good and this is one of the more interesting storylines in wrestling right now with knight and grimes and finally karrios kross.. they way they did that segment with him and joe was perfect, they made kross look strong joe look like the badass he is and never letting the crowd get their hands on him to remind him of monday.. fixing raw creative can sometime be impossible but trips and shawn and co. managed to do it.. kudos to them"

[7.0] "There were a few good matches and even the Franky Monet squash match was good to me. I'm curious to see what they're doing with the Mandy Rose stuff. Samoa Joe is either gonna beat Kross for the belt or he's gonna get stripped of it by attacking Regal then moved up to the main roster which would be pretty anticlimactic."

[5.0] "0 really good matches, but a few cool segments and Samoa's angle made the episode not a terrible one."

[6.0] "The show is nothing really great unfortunatelly. Okay matches but aside from Samoa Joe/Kross stuff, the rest is just meh."

[6.0] "Overall a pretty good show. The opening match was really solid and Kyle & O'Reilly got a nice competitive match too. I was fully invested in this Samoa Joe & Kross storyline, but him losing to Jeff Hardy on RAW hurted the all NXT division. Obviously, the main event could have gone a lot better if it wasn't for Xia getting hurt."

[5.0] "NXT really needed a strong show after the knock to its reputation it took from Karrion Kross' quick loss to Jeff Hardy on RAW, and sadly for them this wasn't it. Two good matches in Diamond Mine/Fish & Kushida and O'Reilly/Theory, but a few squashes, non meaningful segments, a main event affected by injury and Kross compensating for his RAW loss by trying to kill William Regal, this was just average when it needed to be very good. At least the build to Takeover on August 22nd is starting now."
