[7.0] "A good go home show I would day but not remarkable or incredible by any means . All of the matches were all around action with little or no focus on story telling , the closest to the story telling factor was Jiro and Grey vs GYV where the injured knee was targeted as the logical story . The head and tail of the show in terms of matches were the good matches here . Dain/Scott was a solid match , the rest were essentially squashes . Jiro/Grey vs GYV was a good 5 minute match and the Martinez squash made her look like a bad ass. I loved the Knight/Grimes vignettes and the announcement that their match will be a ladder match for the million dollar title . Great to see Io returning and the Dok Hendrix appearances announcing the card for Takeover . Anything Poppy related was a filler but they managed to advance the InDex Rom-com which I really like . In my opinion , Ciampa/Thatcher vs GYV should have been on the takeover card since it has the most long term build . The face off at the end of the show as pandemonium erupted and we see Regal in a state of disappointment was awesome and Cole stood tall as the show ended . My complaint is the lack of build . The match with the longest build is the 6 man tag team match with a 1 month build , which is just so sad . I love to see long term builds like AEW and Japan as it makes the PPV feel special . It would have been much better if they focused on that factor . Other than that , it was a good show nonetheless . Not very excited for Takeover but I'll guess it will be a good enough experience . Hope for the best . 7 for me . Nothing special on the show as expected from a go home show but they really need to do such things that would hype up for the PPV ."
[7.0] "About a 6. 5. Show was book ended by two enjoyable matches in Theory/Lorcan which was a fun opener where both looked good and was on the verge of being even better. The main event was a solid match until an underwhelming ending but it seems they are keeping Dakota protected to eventually likely challenge Raquel. GYV match was fun for the time it got. Liked that they also got a match set up for next week's TV in GYV/Ciampa & Thatcher Tornado Tag Rules. Some good build to Takeover up next although the build for the main event feels pretty weak particularly despite a lot of good talent in the match. Not really a fan of the Vince Russo-esque call of having the Tag and North American Titles all defended in one match. Overall a solid go-home show."
[5.0] "OK show. Matches sucked, but at least segments and promos were fine. I really enjoy Grimes, LA Knight and DiBiase storyline. When they presented the Million Dollar belt I was positively shocked. Great ending segment with upcoming Fatal-5-Way participants."
[8.0] "Good go-home show, the Mercedes Martinez match was sort of unneccessary, but the other matches were pretty good. I'm especially loving the work of Hit Row and the Ciampa & Thatcher vs GYV feud."
[6.0] "A good go-home show for TakeOver but nothing extraordinary in the in-ring action Top 3 of the Night 3. Ember Moon 2. Cameron Grimes 1. Adam Cole"
[7.0] "Fine show but pretty low for NXT once again. I don't know if ti's because I've been watching it for too long or because the quality really decreased, but I haven't been liking a lot any weekly show (from NXT or AEW or whatever company) apart from NXT UK lately. The opener and the main-event were good, but they had their problems (the DQ and the opener was a way to keep the feud for the NXT title going). The final segment was really good, although I think it spoils us a little bit about the fact that neither Kross or Cole will walk out with the belts. LDF vs Reed and MSK is a good way to change all the titles at once imo, and InDex's storyline still makes me laugh. Takeover doesn't hype me too much but I think the in-ring action will be good."
[7.0] "A pretty good go-home show for Takeover this Sunday, even though I'm not a big fan of the card, they did a fine job of building it up, particularly the closing segment hyping the main event. Io Shirai returned on this show as well, though I'm surprised she's now feuding with Candice LeRae again, as last time she was seen, she was starting a feud with Franky Monet."
[8.0] "Good go home show. Increased my hype for all of the matches for NXT Takeover on Sunday. Alot of new faces becoming more regular on the show which is great. All the 3 main matches were great tonight. Hit Row is the best"
[7.0] "All around it was a good show. Some fun segments and the matchs where all pretty good and enjoyable. The only major issues I have is that they didn't managed to get me hyped for the NXT Title match for the PPV."
[8.0] "A really good go-home show, probably one of the best ones I've seen. I wasn't all that hyped for IYH but this show infinitely raised by anticipation and expectations for the upcoming TakeOver. Can't wait to see the show on Sunday!"
[7.0] "A very fun, story-driven go home show. Several stories got advanced, hype for Takeover increased, Io came back and stuff got set up for next week too. Exactly what a good go home show should be."
