[9.0] "The opening match was very sloppy but that my only complaint. Tony Deppen vs Allie Katch changed my onion on Katch, I became more of a fan and its the best Allie Katch match I have seen. Letter match was crazy and the milk crate challenge spot is something that didn't age well, no one remembers it. Wargames itself was extremely bloody and of course we all knew who was winning. It was a spot fest to be honest. Jon Moxley surprising everyone was a huge shock and then he became champ."

[3.0] "Frankly I was bored all the way through it. Shane Mercer throwing fools around was a lot of fun and Mox turning up was cool but the main event dragged badly and it took what felt like 3 weeks to set the final spot up."

[6.0] "Two insane spotfest matches. I don? t think either was great but the spots were absolutely nuts. I? m sure it was fun live but as a GCW PPV goes it was pretty par for the course. 6/10"

[8.0] "Really good show by GCW in front of a hot large crowd in Chicago. The Ladder Scramble Fuckfest, the War Games and the Main Event Angle all delivered. Yet I've seen better overall shows of GCW in 2021 (Homecoming Weekend / TOS 666)."

[9.0] "Great show, builder at all costs and the SOLD OUT is deserved for them. Only 5 matches but it's good, they give time to the opening single match of the show and then explode with the 2 big mayhem matches to finish the show. A main event that was simply bullshit but so well done with a Cardona so good as a heel. THE final face off, damn. Can't wait for October 9th"

[8.0] "This show was crazy. Opening matches were decent, last thing I expected was a Ron Funches run in to set up a match. Ladder Fuckfest was a complete fuckfest alright. Just insane spot after insane spot with nasty botches in-between. Jordan Oliver continues to impress, as does Dante Leon. First match I've seen of Yoya and Nick Wayne. Yoya shows talent, Wayne needs work but is good given his age. Ninja Mack is athletically good, but messes up every other spot. Mercer was quite sloppy compared to his usual but the match was just spot after spot so whatever. War Games match was just an insane brawl. Barely able to make sense of it but I can't deny that I was kept engaged the whole time. The post main event stuff with Cardona and the Mox reveal tore the roof down. Overall a decent show, went by quick."

[7.0] "I missed the opening two matches but the ladder match and the War Games match were insane. Great stuff there. The ending of the show is close to a shark jump moment for GCW for me; if Moxley beats Gage that would probably stop me from watching for a bit. Why would I be interested in a second rate, toothless for TV version of Gage as champion when the real Gage is right there? Especially disappointing is that G-Raver was right there and could certainly have been a choice to win the belt. Not a surprising result but a sad one, but not enough to ruin how much fun the previous two matches where. Def need to catch the openers too because they look very fun."

[8.0] "The show is based on the War Games match and the Cardona/Moxley stuff. One of the most iconic event for GCW for sure."
