[8.0] "A very good episode of SmackDown with a pretty good card and with Jericho off the show, The Rock and Benoit gets most of the focus here. Benoit had a pretty intense match with Eddie Guerrero and Chyna where the Rock makes a run in after Shane interferes and Benoit caused a DQ and then afterwards Rock cuts his usual trash talk promo but gets ambushed from behind by Benoit and things was looking pretty hype. This show began the memorable Triple H, Angle and Stephanie love triangle storyline that dominated the summer. Angle is entertainingly goofy in this show where he has to fight Kane and looks completely in over his head and Triple H cost him the match after catching him hugging Steph. Angle tries to return the favour in the main event, but accidentally hits The Undertaker with the sledgehammer instead! Triple H vs The Undertaker in the main event was pretty good and most of the action was decent for a TV show and they move things along really well with the different storylines going on heading into Fully Loaded."

[7.0] "The Benoit/Rock feud is really good and all the segments that these two have always standout. Eddie/Benoit had a good match, it's just listed as a handicap match in name, Taker/HHH had a good no DQ match and Angle's interference makes a ton of sense."

[6.0] "This was alright but highly uneven at times. Some of the midcard acts are getting to be stale and things are in need of another shake-up. DX in particular should have disbanded a long time ago. Even with all the faults, the Benoit/Eddie and Undertaker/Triple H matches were good enough to make this worth the watch for me."
