It felt like two novices running the ropes, Terrible. Surreal may be the worst wrestler period. MV Young demonstrates potential, and Drake does not. The commentary said it best "Uncomfortable. " Wrestling-wise satisfactory, but whatever story they were telling, Effy versus Perry was incredibly stupid. The gauntlet was up and down but mostly boring. I'll give it up to Dark Sheik. She keeps me guessing, but her execution was off. The Pup Collar match was pretty brutal, but Dixon didn't possess enough energy to keep it entertaining. | 9 | 11.04.2021 | Sebastian V | 6.0 | Der Opener war halt so das typische Scramble Match, bevor mit Surreal gegen Monroe gleich schon mein MOTN folgte, welches technisch in meinen Augen auch das ansprechendste der Show war. Zudem passten die Stile zueinander und so entwickelte sich auch eine merkbare Chemie. Drake gegen MV Young war auch nicht schlecht danach, bevor mit Effy gegen Ace Perry eine ungewöhnliche Stipulation mit einem ebenso ungewöhnlichen Nachspiel folgte, welche dem Match aber eine gewisse Intensität verlieh. Es war aber schon ein Vorgeschmack auf eine etwas mehr von Schtick geprägte Schlussphase, was sich natürlich am meisten am Twink Hunter Gauntlet Match ablesen ließ, was inzwischen so ein bisschen Effys Big Gay Brunch Äquivalent zur Clusterfuck Battle Royal wird. Sheik gegen Mack im Co ME fand ich anständig. Sheik bringt immer eine gewisse Technik rein und so auch hier, während Mack ja mehr über die Intensität und auch den Charakter kommt. Das ME ist dann noch mal ein Stipulation Match, welches auch durchaus Intensität entfaltete. Man kann insgesamt sicherlich darüber streiten, ob es jetzt zu viele Gimmick Matches waren aber ich finde, dass es insgesamt eine durchweg konstante, anständige Show war ohne die großen Highlights aber auch ohne Lowlights. Daher halte ich 6 Punkte für angemessen. |
