[7.0] "Impact Wrestling Genesis 2021 is certainly one of the most funniest shows the company has produced this year, I really like the idea of exclusive events but here they decided to take advantage of it to give an interesting tournament as well as two attractive matches on paper and I found it to be a strong show from start to finish. No bad matches, everyone delivered and obviously the Super X-Cup final is the MOTN, followed by the main event. - Austin vs. Suicide (***1/4) - Christian vs. Navarro (***1/4) - Jake vs. Daivari (***) - Steve vs. Lamar (**3/4) - Austin vs. Jake (***1/4) - Christian vs. Steve (***1/4) - Jordynne vs. Jazz (***) - Austin vs. Christian (****) - Mack vs. Moose (***1/2) - Overall a very fun show, easy to watch with only solid matches and a very strong ending."
[7.0] "Kinda interesting how now that they've dropped the "One Night Only" branding, Impact has switched to using the old TNA PPV names for the monthly Impact specials. At any rate, this Genesis installment was a rock-solid tournament show. Ace Austin put in several strong performances on his way to taking the Super X Cup, with notable performances also turned in by Blake Christian, who had a good underdog story throughout the tournament (and has apparently been signed on the back of this event) and Jake Deaner. Daivari also looks to be in terrific shape and should be a good add to the Impact roster. The Mack-Moose main event was also well-executed, and it was cool to see Jazz again in a solid bout vs. Grace. While this show may have lacked a single blow-away-awesome match, it's still a good solid night of wrestling worth seeing."
[5.0] "A decent, inoffensive show with some solid wrestling. There were no standout terrible matches but no truly great, can't miss matches on the card. The tournament was good enough and was a good vehicle for Austin, who was the MVP of the show. The Knockout's match and the main event were both good, although both had problems. The lack of any crowd noise heavily impacted this show and prevented a lot of the matches from being as good as the could have been. Overall, a perfectly acceptable wrestling show."
[8.0] "Well, the tournament delivered and the show was very good overall. Now I hope for something serious for Ace Austin (and also Blake Christian if he will stay here). Big fight feel for the main event and very good work by Moose anyway. The finish of that match is something that can be or not be pleased but have sense. Hype now for next weekly Impact and Hard To Kill."
[7.0] "Nice and entertaining show. The Super X Cup was good, Jordynne Grace vs Jazz was great and the main event was fine despite a bit boring at some points."
[8.0] "The fact they did the full Super X Cup tournament, the card build logically. Some of the earlier matches weren't great, but everything got us where we needed to be. Moose shows great mastery of his new character and to finally be on the road to being a mega star. Jazz brought it to Jordynne and Blake Christian helped to elevate himself and look amazing in defeat. Great show over all."
