[7.0] "Good show to start the year for TJPW. First 3 matches weren't anything special but after that it gets good, minus the Princess Tag title match. MOTN for me is Miyu vs Maki."

[7.0] "Pretty good show with ups and downs. Some of these matches are not good at all and others are great. The Ito/Yamashita match is outstanding and a must watch, and there are a couple other really good matches here. I really liked the NEO Bishiiki-gun tag, and thought the main event was pretty good as well."

[5.0] "As the first wrestling show of 2021 and the first TJPW show ever that I watched, this show was incredibly hit or miss. A great MOTYC between Itoh & Yamashita and a very good main event between Tatsumi & Sakazaki were the highlights of this show and gave enough incentive to want to watch more TJPW. However, the rest of the card was full of at best forgettable but inoffensive matches and at worst outright bad matches. Some of the undercard wrestlers showed a lot of potential in their matches and will hopefully be moving onto better things through the rest of the year. The English commentary was understandably inexperienced but was at times insufferable, hopefully it will improve with experience if TJPW continues to run events with English commentary."

The main event was solid, but it didn't reach the quality of some of Yuka's other title matches, whilst NEO Biishiki-gun vs Shiori and Hikari was the best of the undercard matches."

[4.0] "Wasn't truly feeling this TJP's year-opener with the exception of Yamashita/Ito which ended just when it was about to gain steam and the main event which did build nicely without managing to take off. Not that TJP has ever been about match quality, it certainly has displayed more charm then they did here. Maybe it's the pandemic effect on the whole scene. Nice to experience English commentary. Not the best of flow, but also not an annoying announcing team. Suzume -vs- Arisu Endo [* 1/4], Yuna Manase & Moka Miyamoto -vs- Pom Harajuku & Haruna Neko [*], Hyper Misao -vs- Shoko Nakajima - (New Year! Red and White Rope Match ~ Rename in the Capsule Toy) [1/2*], Miu Watanabe & Nao Kakuta & Mirai Maiumi -vs- Aja Kong & Mizuki & Raku [* 1/2], Saki-sama & Mei St. Michel -vs- Hikari Noa & Shoiri Sena [* 1/4], Miyu Yamashita -vs- Maki Ito [** 1/2], Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino (c) -vs- Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu - (Princess Tag Title) [* 3/4], Yuka Sakazaki (c) -vs- Rika Tatsumi - (Princess of Princess Title) [** 1/4]"

[8.0] "Good show, however not as good as I expected. Most matches were fine. My favourite ones: 1)Aja Kong, Mizuki, Raku vs Mirai Maiumi, Miu Watanabe, Nao Kakuta, 2)Miyu Yamashita vs Maki Ito. The english commentary was not good. Guys had godawful accents and I had problems with understanding one of them. However, it was much better than Mike Bailey and Diego commentary from TJP' 18."

[8.0] "A good show from start to finish thought the ito vs yamashita was match of the night with great emotion same with the main event that had some issues but was still a good match othe then that there where no bad matches on the card and the addition of English commentary was done well and really added to the enjoyment of the show"

[7.0] "This show was a lot of fun. Not a bad match on the card and they set up stories for the coming year. The undercard was a lot of fun. As for the uppercard, Miyu Yamashita Vs Maki Itoh is a must see match and I'd recommend the two title matches if you had time to watch them."
