[8.0] "Three good matches in the opener, Imperium tag, and the main event which I may have expected a little more out of but was still a good match. The women? s dusty tag was ok with a memorable finish at least. Karrion squash was fine minus the ref slip up. The booking of Tyler Rust has been weird and inconsistent since he debuted and hope he? s able to find a spot eventually. Easy show to watch."

[8.0] "A very enjoyable episode of wrestling action jam packed rom start to end with the main event under delivering but was still very good and even the squash was short and Kross has made signs of visible improvement . All the backstage promos and segments were spot on . I personally loved the stellar promo by Santos Escobar which was a reflection of his very concentrated , focused and excellent character work proving that he is a all rounder as we are all ready aware of his in ring mastery . I liked how he referred to himself as a born champion while others pretend to be champion and how a true champion does not need to battle a curse or a pretty mamacita to be a champ ( Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae ) or a glass jaw (Finn Balor) and even targeted Kross saying the most hilarious line of the night saying the NXT title proved to be a major chip on the shoulder of Kross (since he had to relinquish due to a shoulder injury) . Just excellent. My MOTN was LHP/Imperium and Wolfe is back with the euro boys so thats a huge plus point . Balor asking Kyle to team against Danny/Oney was awesome , interested to see where this leads to . Even Rust/Reed was a short but effective and enjoyable match and Rust has a bright future without a doubt ahead of him . The main event although a bit underwhelming was till good but I was more invested in the post match staredown between Ciampa and Thatcher . Lets see where this goes . Other that that , there were story progressions like Kushida pinning Gargano and sets up Kushida vs Gargano for takeover. Awesome stuff."

[8.0] "As usual, the weekly two best hours to spend in front of a TV if you are a Wrestling Fan. Great matches for the Dusty Rhodes Classic, both male and female. Good match between The Way and Kushida and Leon Ruff, even if I despise what Gargano has become just him that was my favorite athlete in NXT, MR Takeover is becoming a sort of Joke character, the Heel Turn did not help him in my opinion even if he is North American Champion right now. Great contest between Imperium and Lucha House Party. In some way I "hate" Gran Metalik, he is fantastic but he always tries too much to impress with insane areal manouvers that results in some botches because are too complicated to execute. I enjoied also the match between Toni and Martinez vs Catanzaro and Carter. I don't understand where they will lead up in the feud between Toni Storm, Martinez and Io Shirai but will be something great as the NXT Womens division is the only one that matters in the so called "Womens Revolution". Speaking about the Fight Pit. It was really brutal. I don't know if I like or not the way the NXT Product is taking becoming in someway a sort of Pancrease Hybrid Product with such matches that seems to be MMA oriented. Anyway, they executed brutal manouvers to eachother, I loved the moments on the Pit and I loved the ending when Timothy Tatcher made Ciampa Tap Out. Watching the match I thought "It seems to be the Lion's Den" and then Beth Phoenix said on commentary how the Lions Den influenced the creation of the Fight Pit itself... So I am Beth Phoenix in disguise. I personally am a Tommaso Ciampa's Big Fan and I am happy about the fact that this feud revitalize him as he seemed to be lost in the New NXT after a 2020 that was not his best year at all. About Timothy Tatcher one of the best grapplers in the world today, probably the best. He is a modern day Ken Shamrock and he is the perfect worker in this NXT so brutal, so Heavy metal, so Intense. I hope they will make the Fight Pit his match like for Triple H was the Hell in a Cell in the 2000s, the match he never lose and that he is associated to as he won two Fight Pit in a row. I conclude by saying that this Fight Pit was way better than the one against Matt Riddle and this is a match that is not for everyone as will always need great grapplers and "semi shooters" inside of it. Rating: 8+"

[8.0] "Very solid episode of NXT this week. The three Dusty Cup matches were all worth watching and helped to progress storylines beyond the tournament itself, which is always a nice bonus. Tyler Rust vs Bronson Reed was a good semi-competitive squash, and I like that Rust has been given a manager and a storyline right out of the gate instead of floundering in that "nothing to do but be a body in a match for a while" ether a lot of new guys are thrown into. Karrion Kross murdering Adonis and Troy was pretty standard fare, but I'm more interested in seeing what team winds up replacing them. The standout, of course, was the main event, which delivered all the brutality one would've expected with these competitors in this match type. And can we talk about how cool it is that Timothy Thatcher of all people is the guy with his own special gimmick match a la Undertaker and the casket match? It was nice that Escobar finally got some mic time, because he's low-key one of the best promo guys on the brand, but why is NXT just now acknowledging that Curt Stallion even exists like two months after he became number-one contender? I know he's been over on 205 but I really wish he had gotten some actual exposure on NXT before this episode. Good progression with Finn Balor as well, with his inevitable team-up with O'Reilly against Oney and Twoey as mini-bosses before his confrontation with Pete Dunne, which has MOTYC written all over it. All in all a great episode of NXT this week that used its time wisely both inside and outside the ring."

[9.0] "Quite an enjoyable episode with lots to like. The main event was a blast, but what surprised me is how much I have been invested in the Dusty Cup. It feels lke so many stories are being weaved into and around it this year and there's a legit case for any of the teams remaining to win. And while its only had one match under its belt so far, he Women's Dusty Cup feels similar in how its utilizing various stories. Very compelling stuff going on right now."

[8.0] "A really good episode. Both Men's Dusty Rhodes matches were good, especially Lucha House Party vs. Imperium. Women's tag team match was ok with surprising result. The main event was brutal as it should have been. Hope to see the third match between Ciampa and Thatcher."

[8.0] "Good show. Tag team matches were all good and had surprising winners. Good promo from Pete Dunne, good segment involving Balor and the Undisputed Era. Everything seems to heading in the right direction. Main event was as brutal as you would expect. Definitely the better of the Wednesday Night shows this week."

[7.0] "Good show. Although non of the matches were a standout, the show was quite good and easy to follow. Gargano and KUSHIDA is a ****+ and might even be a ***** match just waiting to happen. Liked Dunne's promo and can't wait for Dunne Vs Balor. O'Reilly is still getting his bearings together and I loved his chemistry with Balor. Io Shirai is still awesome no matter how small a screen time she gets. Thatcher gets a much needed win but what is next for Tomasso Chiampa? A good show overall."

[8.0] "Great show. All three Dusty Cup matches got time and delivered. They all get a ***1/4 or ***1/2 from me. The main event was expectedly brutal in the second half after a slower first half. I'm tempted to give it a 4, but I'll settle with a ***3/4. The entire Finn storyline on this show was fantastic, with a payoff that sets up a huge match for next week. Reed vs Rust was quality and perfect for what it needed to be. Other than Kross taking up screentime, albeit for only 5 minutes, this show delivered. At worst, it's an 8/10. NXT has been great this month and this episode was no exception."
