Opener and Lashley/Zayn were definitely my least favorites. And the women's elimination match at least had good work from Royce, Liv and Bianca. A decent show."

[7.0] "Both men's and women's survivor series elimination tag matches and Lashley Vs Zayn were all awful and treated like absolute jokes and Undertaker's farewell wasn't the best with the circumstances being faced around that time, but New Day Vs Street Profits was really great and both Banks Vs Asuka and Drew Vs Roman are real fantastic. Overall WWE Survivor Series (2020) is a solid enough show."

[8.0] "This was a good show. Going in I expected it to be pretty mediocre, perhaps even bad. However, this was actually a very enjoyable show! The Men's Traditional Survivor Series Match was a fun opener, although I am sure it'll be polarizing as RAW dominated Smackdown and it was basically a 19 minute squash. Street Profits Vs New Day was absolutely match of the night, and really good. These teams have great chemistry and are the faces of WWE's tag wrestling right now for a reason. Lashley Vs Sami was fine for what it was, just midcard shenanigans that didn't overstay its welcome. Sasha Vs Asuka was really good, although in my opinion, not as good as previous matches between the two. The Women's Traditional Survivor Series Match was extremely standard and generic, albeit still decent. I popped for Lana being the Sole Survivor, not going to lie. Her rivalry with Nia Jax worked and made me into a babyface Lana fan. Roman Vs Drew was fine, It was extremely overbooked and turned into a spot-fest but it was okay for what it was. That being two (mostly) monster World Champs colliding. The Taker send off was really well done, it was only really missing a hot crowd. To conclude, a really enjoyable show and one of WWE's best this year. Like I said, coming into this PPV I was expecting just another skippable Survivor Series event but this was quite good and I'd recommend it. 8/10."

[9.0] "The mens elimination match was very bizarre and not a good way to kick off what was otherwise a super fun and memorable PPV. Street Profits put on the match of their career so far looking confident and athletic, with amazing chemistry between the two. New Day made these guys look like superstars thankfully put them over in what was an incredible match. Sasha and Asuka did their thing, as the match is exactly what you would expect from two competitors that talented. I personally really enjoyed the Womens elimination match, I can never complain when WWE do some weird, risky story telling and I enjoyed the story of Lana and Nia being perfectly intertwined with the protection and obvious push of Bianca. As for the main event, I absolutely loved it. It proved that Reigns and McIntyre are absolute stars as seeing in the ring together seemed like such a big deal. The outcome was as expected and it only makes sense to go that route and hold off with another match between the two in the distant future."

[8.0] "Really good show. The only bad match on the card imo was the match between Zayn and Lashley. The two top matches were Drew McIntyre Vs Reigns and Sasha Vs Asuka. I especially loved the main event although the finish was a bit disappointing. Also the Undertaker's 30th anniversary as well as his farewell wasn't bad despite CoVID. Farewell to the Legend."

[5.0] "The brand warfare concept for Survivor Series is beyond tired and lazy, and holding the show so soon after a draft diminishes whatever lingering appeal that concept might have had. The traditional Survivor Series matches mostly came off as going through the motions, with little at stake. Why not utilize existing factions, like doing Hurt Business vs. Retribution? Or, if we have to do the brand-warfare thing, how about having Reigns' group face a team assembled by McIntyre? At any rate, the non-Survivor matches were mostly decent, with McIntyre vs. Reigns as a strong main event, and Banks vs. Asuka and Street Profits vs. New Day also providing good action. Lashley vs. Zayn was a bit of a waste though. I think the Survivor Series concept could have plenty of life left in it - but it requires more than the lazy writing we got here to make it worthwhile."

Of the six matches, three were great or close to great (Main event, tag match, Asuka vs Sasha, ) the two elimination matches were good albeit not as good as they could've been, and Sami vs Lashley was decent. I'll leave the Taker ceremony out of this, but as far as the matches go, this was a very good PPV. 7. 5 out of 10."

[2.0] "I really can't comprehend giving this show anything above a 2 or 3. Both Survivor Series elimination matches were phoned in and sloppy at best, and in the case of the women's match, god awful and confusing at worst. Lana's "push" is one of the most bafflingly stupid things I've ever seen. Yeah, fans are really gonna get behind a crybaby dweeb that wins by doing nothing, brilliant! Look forward to Lana returning to Main Event in 2021, because this gimmick has no future. Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn had one of the most useless PPV matches in history. It's a real shame that Sami is towards the end of his career and just loves the WWE paycheck because the way they treat him is criminal, making a performer of his caliber wrestle like a manager is just such a waste and makes every single one of his matches totally skippable. You knew going in that Bobby was going over. There were good matches on this show, don't get me wrong. But not a single one of them had any heat, stakes or purpose. Who cares about Street Profits vs. New Day, really? The match was fine but it could have been a match on any given Monday or Friday. But hey, Sasha Banks and Asuka proved they are two of the best workers in WWE has at the moment... oh wait, we've known that for years now. AND Asuka and Sasha already had a match at SummerSlam not 5 months ago, so I ask you... who cares? At least this one had no interference. That just leaves the main event which a very good match that could have been a great match if Roman cooled with all of the slow and "methodical" working, stalling and heel BS. Once the two of them kicked it into high gear they had a very exciting match. However it felt a lot like every other match Drew has had as champion and I don't think there's any one thing that made this match an instant classic, so I believe it will be mostly forgotten in a year. Oh right, then we were treated to The Undertaker's "Final Farewell"... for god's sake just spare me, WWE. Have a Merry Christmas, Mark and I'll see you in Saudi Arabia next year buddy. In a year full of mediocre outings for WWE, Survivor Series wasn't the worst but it was definitely near the bottom. If you must, just watch the main event as it's the only thing worth your time."

[7.0] "Survivor Series of recent years have always suffered from the overinflated importance of 'brand supremacy', offering little in the way of genuine stakes or cohesive storytelling. Whilst mostly still true of this edition, it was elevated by a fantastic main event and an emotional send-off for The Undertaker. The actual Survivor Series elimination matches themselves are both bad and I'd recommend skipping them, but all the champion-vs-champion matches earned their place on the card. Lashley-Zayn is a brief but fun angle, light on competitive athleticism but entertaining in its own right. Banks-Asuka wasn't the best match these two women have had but their chemistry is undeniable and they're always great in the ring, whether together or apart. New Day-Street Profits started out a little silly but built into a pretty great contest - again, both teams are reliably strong performers and they managed to make the result feel genuinely meaningful. It's all overshadowed, however, by McIntyre-Reigns, a clash that felt as important as it did stiff. A contender for WWE's match of the year, both men entered and left looking like total stars and the rightful top guys of their respective shows. And while Taker's farewell ceremony was mostly sentimental nostalgia, if anybody ever earned the right to indulge like that, it's him. Definitely too long but I honestly felt moved at times and it's as good a career retrospective as any. A show of mixed quality but the highs definitely outweighed the lows."

[8.0] "Extremely good show, and one that almost felt better than the sum of its parts. It opened with a fun if slightly sloppy men's tag match, with some odd booking in the clean sweep, but everyone was made to look good - except Seth, but considering the storyline and that we're probably about to lose him for six months or so, that makes perfect sense - and there was plenty of explosive action and some really fun in-ring combinations. The tag team match was everything that I'd hoped and wanted, and while the Zayn-Lashley match was weak as a match, it was a fun enough segment playing really well off the characters involved, and keeping Bobby Lashley looking like one of the baddest men in the company right now. Sasha and Asuka finally got a clean finish, working a technical clinic that showed just how well these two work together and just how much experience they had in the ring with one another, countering and innovating in excellent fashion. The women's tag was a light hearted palate cleanser and a lovely little story, and better than it had any right to be, and finally we got one of the biggest hyped matches of the year and one that lived up to it. Roman and Drew went to war and looked like world beaters, and looked like a match I wanted to see even more of soon. Everything about the show delivered, and it flowed almost perfectly. One of the better shows of the year, in a surprisingly strong year given the circumstances."

[8.0] "This was an overall decent show. Nothing offensive about it but not the best PPV from them this year. Thought the title vs title matches, besides Lashley vs Zayn, were easily the best stuff of the night, especially Drew vs Roman. The standard Survivor Series tag team matches were fun albeit not the best by any chance. Taker's retirement ceremony was alright but he didn't say much."

[9.0] "Opener was good, not outstanding, neither a terrible match despite finishing with a clean 5-0 with a big win for Team RAW [***1/2]. Profits vs New Day was a really good tag match, I liked that being a really competitive match both teams kicked out of their rivals' finisher, it made both teams seem like the top stars of the division, just as it should [****]. Lashley vs Zayn was average, at least it played their characters well and it wans't terrible like their past matches [**]. Sasha and Asuka always deliver, this wasn't the exception, being probably their second best match this year, just behind their great bout at SummerSlam [***3/4]. Women's Elimination Tag Match had its moments, most of the time was good, nothing really great, although Bianca looked great at the final stretch of the match [***1/4]. Drew vs Roman was outstanding, a physical match that saw Drew battle the fresh heel Roman toe to toe, kicking out of not one but two Spears; Roman won taking advantage of a ref bump, which made Drew look strong in defeat (I also liked that moment with McIntyre busting out a freaking kimura out of nowhere to counter a Spear, great); I believe those two are keeping more for a even greater match, but nevertheless it was a great match between the top stars of the company [****1/4]. Finally the Undertaker's final farewell was brief, but straight to the point, and at this point I don't think there's something that the Deadman hasn't said before so the final segment with him sending the character to Rest In Peace was good. Maybe he's saving a long and adequate speech for a future HOF induction. Overall a pretty enjoyable PPV in my opinion."
