[7.0] "This was a nice first show for GLEAT. My favorite part of it was the UWF rules matches, specially the women one, which was the best of the night for me. All started with Kaz Hayashi defeating NOSAWA Rongai. Hayashi's performance was pretty good and I was impressed with him still doing the handsprings and dives, considering his age at the point. NOSAWA did some fine submissions targeting his opponent's shoulder. Nice match and right winner with Kaz Hayashi getting the pin. After that, the first UWF rules match, were Masakatsu Funaki & Minoru Tanaka defeat Kazuki Okubo & Takanori Ito. A great showcase of this shoot style and a nice performance by Funaki & Okubo. But the girls did it even better. Syuri defeats Yuu on a great match. I liked the contrast of styles, with Syuri being smaller, but with more technique, while Yuu used her strenght to hit some big powermoves. Really interesting dynamic here. Next, Kenoh defeated Soma Watanabe on a nice match. His offense was very nice and his kicks really felt stiff. It would have been better if Watanabe had done a better selling of his injured leg. Anyway it was good and Watanabe looked strong in defeat. The main event was my least favorite match on the show. It had a dream sequence feel, in the sense that they all were veterans of the ring, but the offense for most part of the match was dull and non interesting. The best part were Taniguchi and Fujita going stiff after each other leading to the ending with Fujita's head drop back suplex, into a slap, into two punt kicks and a powerbomb. What a beast, I should check more of his work. Mid show we see promos by Cyrus, Pillars of Destiny and Josh Barnett saying they are interested in coming to GLEAT to wrestle."

[6.0] "With GLEAT trending today I decided to give the promotion a shot with their very first show. I thought that overall this was a solid show. The middle stretch of this show was pretty solid, and I thought the first and last matches were the weakest on the show. I had to search up what the rules were for the UWF style matches as this was my first experience but I enjoyed them. This wasn't spectacular or anything but I plan to watch more GLEAT and am intrigued with what they do going forward."

[6.0] "The show was overall good. The opener and the main event were easily the worst matches, mostly due to non-existent energy and effort from the likes of NOSWAWA and Fujita. The UWF Rules matches were both fine, Syuri vs Yuu ended up being quite good. I narrowly preferred it over Kenoh vs Soma as match of the night. A decent if unspectacular start to GLEAT."

[7.0] "Really enjoyed this. I'm not a shoot style connoisseur, but I've seen a bit of UWF and some of the other promotions from the 90's and can get into it on occasion. This show was one of those occasions. Sometimes this style can bore me, but the matches here were generally very good to GREAT (forgive me). As others have said, I really hope they continue with the UWF rules bouts. Both were really well presented and worked. This is my kind of shoot style. The GCW Bloodsport folks should watch this and take notes."

[6.0] "An interesting "first" show for GLEAT that had more of an exhibition feel. Syuri vs Yuu was probably the best match on the card, followed by Soma Watanabe vs KENOH. The shoot-style stuff stands out a bit more on this card, with the other stuff feeling like your typical house show card. If GLEAT embraces the UWF stuff more, I think they'll stand out a bit more."
