The Catfight was easily the worst thing on this show; so obviously an idea that wasn't fully thought out. The best match was easily and obviously the Texas Chain Match Massacre main event. Interesting there wasn't an ECW World Title match on this big show. Jay Sulli sucked on this show. Terry Funk doing some commentary before his main event match was pretty cool. |

LARRY/TONY- Abuncha nothing again but at least this one didn't have me doing off. 1*. PEACHES/TIGRA- What the fuck was this. I've only ever given 3 other matches a 0*. But this is the 4th. Fuck this so-called "match". 0*. SNUKA/TOMMY- The highlight of the match is the ending because Paul trips up Tommy and he faceplants for Snuka to get the win. What the fuck was this trash ass match and finish. 3/4*. SANDMAN/REBEL- First solid match of the show. Sandman came out with a full head of steam and beats Rockn Rebel from piler to post until Rebel finally gets the unfair advantage. If it went a bit longer I think it woulda been even better. 2*. MURDOCH/DARK- Another fine match that is also upped by Terry Funks great commentary over this one. Also cool rollup finish as well. 6MANTAG- That had nothing going for it at all. I did not like this snoozefest. 1*. FUNK/EDDIE- A pretty solid match but i feel if they took some time off the match it coulda achieved the same effect if not a better one. 2and3/4*. Overall even though this show is pretty bad, due to how fast all the matches were it wasn't too hard of a watch. with that being said i still don't recommend this show. Bad first outing for ECW. |

Geringe Workrate, absurde Action. „Kill him“-Plakate im Publikum sind da noch die beste Unterhaltung oder „We want skin“ beim Damen-Match. Absurder Catfight, RAW Anfang der 2000er wäre stolz gewesen. Peaches ist auch nicht over und Stetson befreit die unbekannte Dame, die Peaches geholfen hat von dem Top. Alter Vadder, 1993 war ja noch Einiges möglich. Komplett entbehrlich. Snuka möchte beweisen, dass er 2x an einem Abend kann. Schön, dass man für ECW #11 schon das Snuka/Hawk Titelmatch angekündigt hat. Teuflisch! Und langweilig. Also wirklich lahm und fast nervig. Sandman und Rebel gehen direkt in die Vollen und haben eine schöne Sequenz um den Stuhl, aber ansonsten (inkl. dem Finish) ist das auch schwerfällig. Keine Story ohne Paule, also macht er das Prelude für Dark Patriot II und Dirty Dick Murdoch. (Traurig wie viele Worker da schon mittlerweile verstoreben sind. ) Ein ebenso absurdes Match, wie das Gefühle im Six Man Tag-Match. Die Story war ja durchaus unterhaltsam, das mündet hier aber auch in eigenwilligem Schrott leider. Es bleibt putzig, aber nein, nicht hochwertig. Main Event-Time und ein Match, was einen sehr würdigen Aufbau hatte. Die Kette bestimmt natürlich das Tempo und sorgt für frühes Spannungspacing, um die Art und Wiese, wie der Brawl der Herren aufgebaut ist, passt es aber gut. Schöne Chain-Spots, aber fällt auch schwer, die Stipulation nicht zu nutzen. Blut, Brawl im Publikum und anschließend die Ecken abklopfen. Die Intensität macht’s hier aus und beide arbeiten wirklich seriös. Das Finish mit dem Ref Bump und dem Aftermath ist dann etwas overbooked, aber das ist das typische überambitionierte Booking von jungen Ligen. (***1/2) Heymans Angriff auf Gordon sitzt aber gut. Funk noch mit ein paar Schlussworten und so endet ein absurder ECW-Event. |

The Tony Stetson vs Larry Winters fights was ridiculous (not in a good way), it went straight from tag champs fall out with an accidental elimination in a battle royal to a First Blood match in a week or two, it just did not earn it. The Six Man Tag was advertised as Super Destroyer #1 & #2 & Sal Bellomo against all 3 Suicide Blondes & Hunter Q. Robbins but instead the heel commentator from TV up until that point, Stevie Wonderful, was magically on the face team. That really annoyed me. Match wasn't particularly good either. But the main event, despite the screwy finish, is fun to watch. I bumped the event from a 3 to 4 for that. Not amazing, but just a fun brawl between two guys good at that style, neither at their best. Eddie Gilbert really is one of the few standout positives of 1993 ECW. |

Smith gegen Snuka ist vorbei bevor es richtig angefangen hat, langweiliges Gedöns, 2/10. Stetson gegen Winters wirkt dank dem Ref permanent so, als hätte nach zwei Minuten schon jemand bluten sollen. Dann wird gleich noch das Tag Match der nächsten TV Show aufgebaut, nunja, 3/10. Mit anderem Ref wäre das besser gewesen. Der Catfight ist mal wieder eine Beleidigung für das Business, -2/10. Cairo gegen Snuka dann bis dato MOTN, wow! Schönes Heel-Face mit guten Fans, die Cairo siegen sehen wollten, doch da hatte Paul E. etwas dagegen, 4/10. Rebel gegen Sandman ist so ein Russo-Style Blödsinn.. Die Fehde sollte beendet werden und Stetson greift ein.. Dann eine Lady mit Pfefferspray.. Oh Mann, 2/10. Murdoch hier schon nach seiner Glanzzeit und das merkt man auch. Aber die Fans feiern ihn total ab, 3/10. Dann das Six Man Tag Match mit erster Matchlänge über 10 Minuten. Immerhin erklären die Kommentatoren, warum Candido nicht da ist. Lange wird dann aber ein Heel isoliert, auch mal interessant. Ansonsten viel Langeweile, aber im Hinblick auf den baldigen Titelwechsel wenigstens die richtigen Sieger, 3/10. Dann der Mainer und endlich lohnt es sich, die ganze Sache zu schauen. Wirklich starkes Chain Match, immerhin wissen beide was sie da tun und bekommen die Zeit dafür. Zwar nicht so gut wie ihr I Quit Match bei Battle Of The Belts, doch ziemlich nah dran, 7/10. Insgesamt eine ziemlich schlechte Show. 90 Minuten die sich anfühlen wie 180.. 2 Punkte. |
