[9.0] "A really fun show all around and three very good matches and a entertaining cinematic match between lumis and cameron grimes"

[7.0] "An enjoyable show with a good opener and a good main event. Rhea/Raquel was my favorite of the show overall. Lumis and Grimes was cartoony. Still a show that used the gimmick well but one I felt like I had a bit of higher expectation for but certainly an enjoyable show."

[9.0] "A very fun and good tv episode, I think if there was one more match that was solid this is an easy 10 for me but despite that it has a good opener and great main event. 9/10"

[10.0] "Incredible start, shocking title change. Afterwards, Dunne's return and heel turn. Show still continues to shock and enjoy us. Great cinematic match between Lumis and Grimes. I don't like they split the match but it's okay. Then a nice brawl between two giant women, Ripley and Gonzalez, it was actually fun too. Now let's get to the main event. Great match with great spots but man, the booking of Shirai made me exhausted. Girl, you had a swinging neckbreaker on two tables but you still continue the match. Then fell of from a ladder, still continue the match. I don't get it, it was terrible in my opinion. Although, the rest of the show was awesome."

[8.0] "The idea of Halloween as a main theme was great. Many good matches and many bad moments as well. My eyes got cancer when I saw that Shockmaster and Hogan segment. However, I highly recommend watching this show."

[6.0] "Opener, very good match, closer, great match, middle... Meh, i found them average. First of all, I can't seem lo like cinematographic matches, so Haunted House Of Terror was a NO. Non title match in a PPV-feel-like episode, why? Ripley vs Gonzalez, boring. Going back to first match, I found it good and not great because we were not given explanation to the ghostface figure, was it just because it's Halloween? So is he an outsider with no purposes?"

[9.0] "Amazing show and was worthy of being Takeover. Only blemish was was the worthless Lumis/Grimes garbage."

[7.0] "it was fine. Really like the Shirai/LeRae and Ripley/Gonzalez matches, superkick to a corpse from Gargano and I kinda like the cinematic part of "Haunted House" match, but everything else was just... i don't know... I mean, LOTS of commercial, fakiest "ThunderDome" ever, nothing Escobar/Atlas match... and I think the originally planned main event finish would be better"

[10.0] "I had to see why this event got rave reviews wherever I checked. As a fan of old school NWA/JCP, these themed events peak my interest and this was far superior to previous Halloween Havoc events. The set was great, the intro was amazing and the action was spot on. North American title match was good fun and exactly what I expected. It could have been more but the action was perfectly fine. Gargano super kicking a puppet was awesome, and Priest had the entrance of the night. The finish raises some interesting questions going forward. Atlas vs Escobar was an OK exhibition match. I liked Atlas during his time with the indies but this is what it needed to be. Ripley and Gonzales had an enjoyable physical fight. The size factor came into play and Ripley went all out to beat the seemingly stronger Gonzales. Haunted House of Terror, what can I say? Low budget horror flick? Freebird Michael Hayes? Campy, yet hilarious. I loved the cinematic part of this and the effects and props used. He zombies were a nice touch. A fun and enjoyable match. When the first minute or so of the main event has a bag of mutilated props, you know it? s gonna be fun. These two women went all out. The dragon screw with the assisted chair was brutal, and that was still early. I am interested in that Scream character that appeared again after the first match. Shotzi getting involved could lead to some good stuff down the line. Candice deserves props for that final bump off the ladder. Great match to close off a wonderful show. The atmosphere of this show was fantastic and I loved the little throwbacks to previous versions of this events. Also, Pete Dunne returning scores this extra points. The theme added a lot and the props were great. Truly a great show. One of the better events titled Halloween Havoc."

[9.0] "Excellent show, the best big show from NXT in quite awhile. While the cinematic match wasn? t my cup of tea, it was something different and I give them points for creativity. The 2 matches book ending the show were fabulous, with Io and Candice pulling out some insane spots. The other women? s match had great intensity, and the promos by Mcafee and Ciampa were top notch"
Joe King wrote on 30.10.2020:
[10.0] "Possibly one of the best TV shows in NXT history The 2 championship matches were awesome, the turn from Dunne was really surprising ! I really liked the Grimes/Lumis angle, was really non conventionnal To summarize i really liked the fact that they went to the maximum of what they can do with the Halloween style Top 3 of the Night 3. Pete Dunne 2. Io Shirai 1. Shotzi Blackheart (to give credit to the whole theme of the show)"

[9.0] "NXT had its best weekly show for a while, I am glad they put a lot of effort in, into such a classic gimmicked event. Gargano vs Priest, Ripley vs Gonzalez and Shirai vs LeRae all delivered. The Lumis/Grimes stuff is the only thing that stops me giving this episode a 10."
Okaro143 wrote on 29.10.2020:
[8.0] "This was an interesting show completely different from any show I have seen this year. From the beginning, it was non stop entertainment. Some of the matches were hurt by Commercials but all in all it was a really good show. Commentary was great and Vic Joseph is really starting to get into his role as the play by play commentator while Wade Barrett has always been a great color commentator. All four advertised match delivered and a shoutout to the main event."

[7.0] "I had an extraordinary time watching this show and what an enjoyable way to start the Halloween weekend. Shotzi was perfect as the host and the set looked great compacted into an intimate arena. The only thing I disliked about the show was the Haunted House of Terror segments as I noted it very amateur and the cinematic matches are becoming tedious to watch. Gargano/Priest (8) Escobar/Atlas (4) Lumis/Grimes (2) Ripley/Gonzalez (7) Shirai/LeRae (7. 5)"

[10.0] "This was the best TV show I have seen in a while, and I usually watch AEW over NXT. The opener, the main-event and Rhea vs Raquel were amazing and the Pete Dunne turn came to of nowhere, in a great way."
Childofthelost wrote on 29.10.2020:
[10.0] "Halloween Havoc was an all time episode for NXT. A fantastic episode from start to finish that I recommend any wrestling fan check out. A great show to end several feuds as the road to NXT Takeover 32 (hopefully WarGames) begins. Gargano Vs Priest was a great Falls Count Anywhere Match. Santos continues to rise like the star he is. Lumis Vs Grimes was one of the best CineMatches this year. Rhea and Raquel had a brutal back and forth. Io and Candice had their best match yet and probably a better TLC match then we'll see at WWE's TLC pay-per-view. And Shotzi was on fire as the host. Pete Dunne's heel turn as he joins Pat's crew was fantastic. Just an all around great great show. 10 out 10 all day."

[10.0] "What an incredible and entertaining 2 hours. Maybe the show wasn't wrestling heavy but the production and angles and uniqueness made it an awesome watch. This is like more wrestling shows should have this kind of production."
Zack122 wrote on 29.10.2020:
[10.0] "That is probably the most fun I've ever had watching a non Takeover/PPV wrestling episode, possibly ever. From start to finish, that was just a burst of a good time. It was completely different from The Bash, which felt halfassed."
EdFather wrote on 29.10.2020:
[10.0] "Hands down the best episode of NXT this year. Great action from top to bottom in the actual matches, some great segments and promos with Pat McAfee & Tommaso Ciampa, and The Haunted House Of Terrors match was cheesy B-Movie horror mixed with wrestling, just great fun. Match of the night was the insane Tables, Ladders and Scares match with Shirai & LeRae."
Suzukigun wrote on 29.10.2020:
[9.0] "Not just the perfect homage to Halloween Havoc, but the best Halloween Havoc ever. Unlike some of the other televised special NXT episodes, this one was great from start to finish. Every non-match delivered. The surprise return was perfectly done. The two title matches were terrific, especially that main event. That was Takeover quality. There's a legitimate possibility that, all things considered, some may believe this was the best NXT episode ever. At worst, this was an 8. 5/10 episode, with a 4+ star main event."
