Loved and adored the Cody/Darby match, and Omega/Page was the obvious match of the night with a great compelling story being told, and while I was a little disappointed with Mox/Kingston and Bucks/FTR, they were still both very good if flawed matches. The rest wasnt really for me, especially that awful pretaped Hardy/Guevara match."

[9.0] "Positives: Eddie vs Moxley was amazing, those 2 are destined to be career opponents. YB vs FTR a great start to their series but I prefer their Dynamite and Dynasty matches to this one. Cody vs Darby really felt like Darby's crowning moment, and Cody did a great job making Darby look like the ultimate underdog that got the job done. Cassidy vs Silver was an unexpected banger, a great showcase for both men. Hangman vs Omega was awesome and progressed their story very nicely, which is still one of the best stories in AEW history. Negatives: Elite Deletion wasn't for me, never been a fan of the broken universe stuff. Jericho/MJF was okay, I enjoyed the story they were telling, but ultimately I think it could've been executed better. Overall this show was pretty great, and although I had some negatives, nothing was really BAD, just mid for me, I thought the show was very consistent and paced well."

[6.0] "This show was fine. Omega/Page was good action, but it's really overshadowed by the match they'd have for the title later on. Cassidy/Silver was whatever, wouldn't have been out of place at an indie show. Allin/Rhodes was a solid match from an in-ring perspective, and the culmination of what turned out to be a pretty darn good rivalry between the two wrestlers that did a lot to get Allin over. Shida/Rose was fine but not as good as their match at Double or Nothing. They kinda went backwards and did the no dq match first and then had a normal singles match second. YB/FTR was good but it's kind of bungled by the wonky heel/babyface dynamic since uh the Young Bucks don't really work as sympathetic figures and FTR were heels but they hadn't really been given a chance to get over as such in AEW yet so the whole thing just felt contrived to me. Hardy/Guevara was a cinematic match and I just categorically dislike those. MJF vs Jericho was decent fun. The main event was alright but a lot of the more hardcore-adjacent spots just weren't very convincing. Fine show, definitely peaked early and petered out as it went along."

Cody vs. Allin was very good, surely a defying moment for Darby Allin's carrer in Aew. Shida vs. Rose was alright. Young Bucks vs. Ftr was the best match of the night and one of the best tag team matches of 2020. Elite Delition was alright despite being a bit boring at times. Mjf vs. Jericho was the worst match of the night: pretty lifeless and boring despite a very good ending. Moxley vs. Kingston was very dissapointing but still pretty good with some cool moments. Overall: not as good as some people say but still a great show."

MJF vs Jericho and the queen's title match are both disappointing. Orange Cassidy vs John Silver filling out the card shows the thinness of the roster early on. The world title eliminator finals is a solid opener with advancement of one of AEW's longest storylines."

[9.0] "The opener was a fantabulous sprint and Omega winning was a better option at that time as Hangman needed more tuning for the big league. Cassidy vs. Silver was a comedic breather after that opener which did its work right by ample comedy and solid wrestling. Cody & Darby had a great "David vs. Goliath" styled match that was a near close favorite of their series with Fyter Fest 2019 topping the charts. Both meshed really well and the end was a bit of a surprise. The women had a fine showing but not as exciting as their Double or Nothing match but it was a good breather. The tag team match might have a varied mileage as some are considering it one of the best matches of the era. But, I'm not going to that high-district for this bout as I felt that it was side-tracked by the tribute move-fest and some spots. Otherwise, it was a great match still with a nice story arc told good. The Elite Deletion was a fun run but a bit long while Jericho & MJF certainly did their very best in giving us a solid but unspectacular match. That didn't weaken things here as we knew this is how it would've gone. The main event was a great slugfest of violent, hardcore action blended with great storytelling with Kingston evolving as his best form when given a chance to prove his worth as a main eventer. Both had a similar playground to outwork and they certainly did so. A great PPV and a great bounce-back for AEW after their previous filth of a PPV in All Out."

[9.0] "Really fun show! I'll get the negatives out of the way first: Matt vs Sammy wasn't as fun or silly as the early Deletion matches in TNA and MJF vs Jericho was lame. Besides that, Omega and Hangman had a decent opening match, Silver and Orange had a really fun little comedy match, Darby and Cody had a good match for the TNT title and Shida/Nyla had their best match between eachother as well. The two belles of the AEW ball here though were the tag team title match and the world title match. Starting with the Main event, Moxley and Kingston had a brutal encounter for the world title with the dreaded I Quit Stip. I've grown just a tad bit tired of the I Quit stip, but they pulled it off fairly well here. It wasn't like, amazing or anything but it was exactly what you'd want after the promos between the two leading up to this show. As for the tag title match... astounding. The Young Bucks and FTR were on some other shit during this match man. The story we got actually got the Bucks over to me as babyfaces which I always thought was impossible. It didn't last long but for one day, they were the babiest of faces if you will. Oh and Cash Wheeler did a springboard 450. wait what' If you haven't seen it, check that shit out ASAP, that match rules. Two thumbs up for Full Gear 2020"

My favourite match on the card would be the match between the Bucks and FTR for the AEW Tag Championship: Amazing match and a contender for MOTY. My least favorite match on the card would be Nyla Rose Vs Hikaru Shida which was still a solid match. While the main event wasn't quite as good as the Tag match, it was still very good and intense. Other matches worth mentioning are the Opening match and the TNT Championship match. The show was very balanced and the matches had a distinct style from each other. Overall, it was one of my favourite show from a CoVid struck 2020."

Dardy vs Cody did ok. but I liked their first Dynimate match a lot more. Chris vs MJF and Women's title bout both were fine, nothing special. Elite Deletion could've been amazing, if it didn't drag for so long. Finally, Kingston vs Moxley was surprisingly good, I loved it, even though the ending didn't quite stuck to me. Overall, the show left a good feel. It was nice to finally hear a bigger crowd. Can't wait to see what AEW will offer next."

[10.0] "In my opinion, this is the best payperview that AEW has had yet. Every single match on this card was good. We start off great, we end off great, and we keep a consistent rate of great matches throughout the show. The standout match in this show is definitely the Young Bucks vs champions FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. This match has definitely been dreamt of for years and the payoff was most certainly worth it. I'd say that this match was better than the Young Bucks vs champions Omega and page for the championships. The ending for this match was great, too, as once Cash Wheeler tries to hit a flip, which FTR are known for hating, it backfires and the Young Bucks win the championships. Every other match on the card was great too. We start off with Kenny Omega vs Hangman Page, who were once friends and are now bitter foes. These two are absolutely talented and once they were put into a singular match they put on an outstanding array of moves and sequences. Kenny Omega wins the match with his trademark One Winged Angel, however Adam Page still looked strong throughout the match. The match that follows this is Orange Cassidy vs John Silver, which, although not as good in-ring like Kenny Omega vs Hangman Page, was still very entertaining. Two wrestlers who were definitely over with the crowd gave the crowd a good match. The second championship match in this show follows, as the TNT champion Cody, who finally gets his last name Rhodes back, fights against the underdog Darby Allin. This match was awesome; there was a damn avalanche Cross-Rhodes in this match. However, the right person won; Darby Allin definitely deserved this championship. Another championship match follows this; Hikaru Shida faces off against Nyla Rose for the second time for the AEW Women's World Championship. This match, although it was the worst match on the card, was still somewhat entertaining. FTR vs the Young Bucks is after this, and I already mentioned how great it was. Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara is after, and for some reason, they decide to give this feud another go. They didn't learn from last time. However, this match was still fun to see. A lot of great cameos and a good finish to the match. Glad Matt Hardy is still okay. Two more matches are after this; MJF vs Jericho is the semifinal. This was a decent match, and it was used to get MJF a big win over Chris Jericho. This leads to MJF and his associate Wardlow a pass to enter Jericho's stable, The Inner Circle. The main event to this show was two bitter enemies who were former friends fighting for the world championship. Eddie Kingston vs Jon Moxley are fighting in a brutal "I Quit" match. These two were known to be dangerous in a match type like this, and they didn't skimp out on the brutality in this match. Barbed wire and thumbtacks were everywhere; Mox even wraps the wire around his arm to choke out Eddie and submit him. This was a great way to close an amazing show. This show was great."

[8.0] "My favourite AEW PPV to date. They built a lot of these matches really well and made them feel like big deals and they all delivered, this includes the opener, main event and TNT match. Bucks vs FTR was fantastic, its just a shame that the built was embarrassingly bad and the Bucks seem to only really know how to put on good matches from an in-ring perspective. Unfortunately Full Gear is very bloated, and I think AEW need to reassess how they format these shows, as they tend to cram too many matches into one show to make up for the smaller amount of PPV's per year. The Cassidy match, Hardy match, Jericho match and even the Shida match were just super underwhelming and looked even worse as they high points of the show really set the bar high."

Insgesamt sehr gute Show ohne schlechtes Match.

[9.0] "A very strong event overall. Young Bucks vs. FTR was an excellent modern tag team match and my pick for match of the night. That said, there was plenty else to like. Omega vs. Page was a fine continuation of one of AEW's most compelling storylines and helped solidify Omega's return to form as the Cleaner. The Moxley vs. Kingston main event was also a very good brawl with some great build behind it; mainstream wrestling has been sleeping on Kingston far too long. Allin vs. Rhodes was a fine example of in-ring storytelling with a satisfying win for the underdog. MJF vs. Jericho went a long ways to helping MJF become established as one of AEW's "homegrown" stars. And while Hardy-Guevara probably won't be listed at the top of the heap of Deletion "matches, " it had some fun moments and was well-positioned as a breather after the Tag Title match. It shouldn? t have had commentary, though - that kind of ? match? works better when it can speak for itself. The only real marks against the show is that Shida-Rose, while fine, had little build, once again showing that the women's division has a long way to go. And Cassidy-Silver, while a perfectly solid bout, did feel a bit like it should have been on the pre-show instead of the NWA Women's Title match. Nitpicks aside, a fine return to form after the missteps of All Out."

Teilweise komplett whacky was mich echt abgeholt hat.

It skyrocketed back up with The Young Bucks and FTR but again went straight down to Hell with the Elite Deletion match. Exceptional pacing allowing for needed breaks (poor match quality) and for the most part kept me entertained whether that be good or bad. I learned from this show that... Cody has hopelessly lost all credibility as a dominant player and while the match was excellent he looked absolutely foolish for taking a roll-up and not the Coffin Drop. Half of the talent produced terrible finishes. The referees are just as bad while all needing their own camera time and John Silver stole the show by producing the only memorable match. The grand entrances are just getting more cringing every week, I am looking at you Omega, Jericho and Cody. And with Eddie Kingston dressed like the Smarkmart logo, I cannot with this man. Omega/Page (7) Cassidy/Silver (6) Allin/Cody (7. 5) Shida/Rose (3. 5) Bucks/FTR (8) Hardy/Guevara (2) MJF/Jericho (5) Moxley/Kingston (5. 5)"

Between quality matches and the level of variety this show must have been one of the absolute great shows for many people. However, for my tastes the Elite deletion was such a dark cloud that it harmed my enjoyment of the entire final hour. It was terribly unfunny comedy that mocked wrestling rather than having fun with wrestling, I love comedy in wrestling but this was the worst of derisive comedy wrestling. It then moved into the realm of violence but that violence felt pointless given that they had already made a mockery of the feud. Violence has no right to be this boring. After something so off putting I needed a big belter of a match to re-ignite my interest and the character based work of Jericho-MJF could not achieve this. All of this managed to harm my enjoyment of the Kingston-Mox match which I had previously been extremely hyped for. Given how good the rest of the show was this card must have been outrageously good for a lot of people, especially those who enjoy Hardy, but the Elite Deletion did enough damage to the two matches that followed it, that I have to give this an 8. 8 is good but this had potential to be great if it weren't for the one huge issue."

This is made all the more worse by the pacing issues of the cards. It seems like every decent match is booked to have two come-down matches following it, and it just leaves you feeling tired and wishing for the whole thing to end. Or maybe it's just that the roster can't consistently deliver good matches, I don't know. There was some good here though, but the best match was the opener. Hardy vs Sammy really sucked and I can't imagine how deflating it must be to sit in that hot arena on hard seats and have to watch an overly long and unfunny skit on a screen when you're supposed to be getting pumped up for the final two matches."

The only match I didn't like was Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara and that largely comes up to personal taste. Were there things that could improve? Certainly. Having Cody win the belt from Brodie Lee, and proceed to lose it to Darby Allin in like... 3 weeks really reduces the stock of BOTH Brodie and Cody. Shida versus Nyla had no build whatsoever; Shida just looks like a paper champion at this point. YTB versus FTR was a good, not great match. Never been a huge YB fans and I'll probably never will, but this is one of their matches I've enjoyed more. (They probably won't surpass them versus Omega/Hangman ever. ) However, having them beat FTR as babyfaces doesn't make sense to me. Hardy/Guevara was less than adequate, wasn't for me. MJF/Jericho was average, but the finish is nice and it makes sense for MJF to be in the Inner Circle as Sammy SHOULD be written off TV.

FTR vs Young Bucks is one of the best matches of the year and one of the greatest tag team matches ever, both teams tore the house down and absolutely lived up to the expectations i had. Hangman vs Kenny was excellent, Moxley vs Kingston was brutal, Cody vs Darby was great, OC vs Silver was fun, Matt vs Sammy and MJF vs Jericho were good and Shida vs Rose was decent. Hangman vs Kenny (**** 1/2), OC vs John Silver (*** 1/2), Cody vs Darby Allin (****), Shida vs Rose (** 1/2), FTR vs Young Bucks (*****), Matt Hardy vs Sammy (***), MJF vs Jericho (***), Moxley vs Kingston (**** 1/4). This match was akin to a cover band playing the hits of other musical acts that you also like, but only throwing in one or two originals. The only thing giving this its own personality was Harwood? s hand injury. And AEW either needs to reign in Jim Ross or start listening to the criticisms he has for their matches. When he pointed out how the referee? s lack of enforcement of hold break rules made no sense, I was completely taken out of the match. I don? t mind if a wrestling company wants to go full on with their own vision of a wrestling universe. But having your commentator poke holes in the logic as the match goes on makes me realize that nobody in wrestling looks worse than Rick Knox during a Young Bucks match. The match also felt like a bunch of very planned out vignettes. Especially the finish, where Wheeler went for a 450 splash for reasons that don? t even make sense and got superkicked out of the tag titles as a result. I get the dramatic irony in the finish, but there was no build to it and it felt totally out of character. Also, how is Matt Jackson hitting a superkick powerful enough to knock out Wheeler with a bad foot that has no boot? Nah y? all, this wasn? t it. Points for the effort and the ability to keep this from getting boring for thirty minutes, but that? s all."

Omega and Hangman opened the show beautifully in a hard-hitting affair that I wish went longer. John Silver is a beast that will have a great AEW career, but Orange Cassidy is on another level now. Cody and Darby Allin was a big-time clash, and I'm very happy for Darby's championship win. I just hope that someone doesn't take it away from him in like two weeks. That smile from Hikaru Shida in the middle of her match was frickin scary, and the aftermath of the match involving Nyla Rose was incredibly intriguing. FTR and The Young Bucks put on the match of the night by far on a night with great matches galore. Hardy VS Guevara was pretty wacky, especially since it was the first Hardy Compound match with normal commentary. Gangrel was easily the biggest shock of the night for me. MJF VS Chris Jericho has been a dream match of mine for a while now, and seeing this match deliver was really nice to see. Oh, and Moxley and Kingston had a great PPV main event. I'm not sure if it was better than Revolution or Double or Nothing as the best AEW show this year (without a rewatch, I'd honestly put it third) but that's no criticism considering how great those shows were. The only points you could argue were weak were Shida-Nyla (a good match that that would've been better if not for a sloppy last few minutes) and maybe the Elite Deletion (which won't be for everyone) or Jericho-MJF. Everything else was great to extremely great. Omega-Hangman was exactly what we all wanted while simultaneously peaking at the right time to keep us wanting more (Don Callis being involved also helped). Silver vs. Orange Cassidy was absolutely delightful; perfect undercard match. Cody vs. Darby would've been the best match on many shows and finally gave Darby his big moment. After a disappointing build, Young Bucks-FTR did in fact wrestle and everyone did rejoice thanks to a classic. And Moxley-Eddie Kingston lived up to the hype with a beautiful, violent, personal I Quit match. Throw in a few well time storyline beats (Dustin's underrated promo, the Archer/Roberts promo) and you have another top notch AEW PPV and a complete recovery from an All Out show that, while not as bad as it's rep suggests, clearly wasn't on the level of other AEW big shows."

[8.0] "Going into the final AEW PPV of the year, I was hesitant on whether they were going to deliver based off of the middle of the road All Out 2020 and trying to top off the polarizing but captivating Full Gear 2019. I am happy to say they managed to have a consistent, solid show with some great bright spots and blow off results. The show began with a very technical bout to determine the next challenger for the world champion. The result going into it was very predictable, but they managed to give Page enough to show it was not one sided. The match was not without sloppy moments, like the leadup to Omega's moonsault and the one winged angel at the end. The right outcome was determined however. Cassidy vs Silver was an excellent brief match where Silver looked great in defeat and Cassidy continues to get momentum. Darby Allin vs Cody was one of the highlights of the night where the company finally shifted from the established names and put over one of their rising stars; a theme that continues the rest of the night for two other matches on the card as well. I have the same compliments about Hardy vs Guevara where even Private Party got more over albeit in a very comedic match with great cameos. Guevara looks great in defeat, and now this rivalry is interesting again rather than concerning due to the insistence on risky spots. Obviously I don't see cinematic matches as something that will draw everybody, but a change of pace in a stacked card is always needed. MJF vs Jericho from a match quality point of view was lackluster and it is clear Jericho's stamina is dwindling even with someone as athletic as MJF. The ending was great, but I am beginning to have my doubts of Jericho returning to the main title picture and will be like Hardy instead; putting over younger talent. Shida vs Nyla was the weakest match of the card, already curtailed by the limited build up and lack of tension. A shame because Shida's qualities have been dwindling, and these two had one of the better women's matches in company history during Double or Nothing 2020. When they are getting outshone by a pre-show match from members of a different roster, it is very telling that they don't know how to create stars or deliver high quality women's matches like their counterparts NXT and IMPACT. At least Red Velvet vs Tay Conti can be a start. FTR vs Young Bucks felt like a Dynamite match for an advantage for the PPV rather than a rivalry blow off, despite the match being near perfect at its peak moments. It would have been better if instead of the predictable tournament, that they had some singles/tag matches as a buildup or more interferences. I feel they were able to do this perfectly with the Lucha Bros but not FTR. Still, there is plenty of time to perfect this rivalry and I think it will only get better. The main event is another chapter of brutal matches by Moxley, stomping his way through any and all challengers. While this match type suits his capabilities and we got some brawling"

This show is becoming their top tier show it seems. Omega Vs Page was really good and MOTN. Loved the story and thought the only flaw was it was a little too short (probably leaving it open for a rematch where Page kicks out of the OWA). Cassidy Vs Silver was way better than I expected it to be, and a good PPV win for OC. Darby Vs Cody was really good and I was glad to see Darby take the title. Shida Vs Rose, I thought it was a bad match. Their first match was good but this one was just sloppy and disjointed. Glad to see Shida retain though. Bucks Vs FTR was good but not great. Orange Cassidy vs Silver was a fun match in the *** range, but it's really not the type of match where the rating really matters. The TNT and Women's title matches were both ***1/2 or ***3/4 caliber. The Tag Title match was great for the most part, with homages to other teams, and is also a ****+ match. That was one of the two great matches on the show and easily the best FTR match in AEW. The next two matches were a dip from that level, but still quality. The Elite Deletion was fun for what it was, although it was a bit long. Jericho vs MJF was exactly as expected: A 15+ minute match that was fine, but lackluster until the really good ending. Let's give that a **3/4. The main event was brutal as expected, not too long or too short and perfect for what it was supposed to be. That was also a ***1/2 or ***3/4. Kenny Omega vs Adam Page was a great first match between these two in a feud that is definitely not over yet. Orange Cassidy vs John Silver showed that comedic gimmicks can be enhanced when the wrestlers behind them are exceptional. Darby Allin vs Cody Rhodes was a surprising finish to an angle that had not yet finished, only paused. Hikaru Shida vs Nyla Rose had very little, if any at all, build but showed off the talents of the two wrestlers. The Young Bucks vs FTR was possibly the match of the year, and had great storytelling in the ring. Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara was very out there, but was a great sendoff to an otherwise cursed feud. MJF vs Chris Jericho had an amazing finish, and though Jericho has lost a step recently he still put on a respectable performance versus an always incredible MJF. Jon Moxley vs Eddie Kingston showed what happens when a great build pays off. Darby getting the big win finally was awesome ****1/4. Shida vs Nyla was really good. Not as great as the DoN match, but that had better heat going in and No DQ. This one was still really well worked, though ***3/4. FTR vs Bucks built slowly but god damn did it live up when all was said and done. A beautifully worked dream match that paid homage to histories greatest teams while also doing what each do best, amidst great worked selling by Matt and Dax's injuries. And it ends so simply, a missed flip and a superkick. A classic, but it's a shame it could've been even better with a full arena *****. Elite Deletion was good, if a bit too long. Took some time to get going but once it did it got really fun. Then when they got to the Dome it got pretty damn dark. Sammy got absolutely killed, but at least done safely. MJF vs Jericho was good. For the great build, it was probably the weakest match on the show. But it was still entertaining ***1/2. Mox vs Kingston was just fucking brutal. This was a war. Outside of worked barbed wire these guys just flat out had a fight with nothing held back. That was an I Quit match that felt everything like it ****1/2."

OC/ Silver was a good little match that showcased what Silver has and it was great to see him have a match on the PPV. Darby finally beats Cody in a great match and that avalanche Cross Rhodes was insane. Cody got a big pop for his last name Rhodes. Bucks/FTR was basically like a homage to tag team wrestling even including a "meet in the middle" a page out of DIYs playbook. This match lived up to the hype it had over the years. Moxley/Kingston was some great strong style mixed with some hardcore violence. I think this was AEWs best PPV close to DoN 1, definitely worth the $50."
