[3.0] "Another very underwhelming B-Block show. 1) Robinson/Yano - *. Horrible. Nothing else to say. 2) Goto /ZSJ - NR. Goto and Zack decided to take a day off. Sure. 3) Tanahashi/HASHI - ***3/4. Wow, YOSHI-HASHI looking sharp this G1! Another awesome match added on his resume. Tanahashi is a living legend, I appreciate every match from this beautiful man, new NJPW fans love to jump on the bandwagon of Tana is broken down and a bit washed up, get the fuck out, he still tower above 95% of wrestler in the world today. 4) EVIL/KENTA - *1/2. Haha, this is exactly as terrible as I expected. RIP Pre-BC EVIL, 2015-2020. You will be missed. 5) SANADA/Naito - ***1/4. This underwhelming match is the perfect main event for this underwhelming show. SANADA is weird to me, he's fairly athletic and has a very marketable look, but as a wrestler, he's clearly capable but refuses to improve for some unknown reasons, so the quality of his matches stays very average 99% of the time, including this one. Well, this show was not very good, to say at least, God, I hate being so harsh, but let's hope B-Block bounces back next show."

[5.0] "This show was weird, and I wasn't really able to get into it. Juice/Yano was fun, but that's to be expected. The show peaked there for me. ZSJ vs Goto was depressingly short, especially since that was one of the sleeper matches I was really looking forward to. Can't really rate that one due to it being under five minutes. Yoshi Hashi vs Tanahashi was notable due to how hard Tanahashi worked, but I can't give it over ***1/4. The rest was underwhelming. Kenta/Goto was fine but nothing memorable at all. Some heel vs heel matches really deliver, but this was nothing to write home about, and only went over 15 minutes due to the names involved. The main event felt like a waste of time where the result was predictable and the fact that they stretched this out to 27 minutes to try and fabricate drama just didn't work for me. Both of the final two matches were in the *** to ***1/4 range. Add in the weird vibe due to the arena, and I can't recommend this show. That's a rarity for the G1, especially for one that's been as consistent as this year's tournament, but this show is skippable honestly. It's a 5. 5/10 from me."

[5.0] "Worst show of the G1 so far. The 1st match of the tournament was your usual Tory Yano match with a fun and short comedy match. The second match between Sabre Jr and Goto got off to a good start but ended abruptly after only 4 minutes, nothing bad there but it was surprisingly short and Goto looked weaker than ever. Tanahashi & Yoshi-Hashi had a decent bout, but it dragged down (would've been better with 5 minutes shaved off to be frank). Evil vs KENTA was just boring. The main-event was a very good match and the MOTN, but not a great match. Everything they did was well executed and there were some really cool exchanges, a bit too long to my liking though."

[6.0] "One of the weaker show of the G1 this year. This year's G1 isn't bad but on average it does deliver. Considering the CoVID 19 it is still a very overjealous tournament by NJPW. Naito Vs Sanada and Tanahashi Vs Robinson were good. The Young Lions at the very beginning was very good unfortunately the three remaining match were bullshit; not worth watching. MOTN Yoshi Hashi Vs Tanahashi"

[8.0] "Naito-Sanada was excellent, as was Tana-Yoshi-Hashi! A rare 15 minute draw in the opener with the young lions, a usual comedy Yano match, a surprisingly quick ZSJ-Goto match (which makes me think Goto may be injured) and two top guys in BC facing off to mixed results, but the good heavily outweighs the bad here."

[8.0] "A lot of good things coming out of the show a tie in the c block match to spice things up, juice ending the streak of ytr (juice after the g1 can either go after kenta or the KOPW), ZSJ win in something like 4 min is really good , differrent and shows how unpredictable his matches can be ( he can beat anyone on the roster with a cradle), EVIL and KENTA having a bit of a family feud is somethung to take notice and remember for the upcoming months, and the magnificent match at the end. one of my favourite matches of SANADAs career. PS finally Naito pulling off his new move without kinda botching it."
