[9.0] "Really good Smackdown episode here that followed up on Raw's fun go home show for ECW One Night Stand with an even better one here. This show was really on point with it's storytelling and kept things moving along really well. The show starts off with Benoit's introduction as the newest draft pick and he's inserted into a feud with one of WWE's heel invaders JBL. The uncertainty around the title picture on Smackdown with Cena now moved to Raw made things feel very chaotic and uncertain in a good way. Eddie cuts a fire promo on the show as well interrupting an ongoing Cruiserweight match. The only real weakness with the show for me was the bad Kurt Angle promo before his rubber match with Booker T, but at least the feud ended with a really solid and dramatic wrestling match. There's a really good angle after the match too where Angle attacks and bloodies Tazz with the chair and in the main event Tazz gets that big hero moment where he fights alongside his ECW allies. The main event was more of a storyline segment than a match, but it's an entertaining and chaotic finish to set up the ECW PPV. Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit was also made for the show and it was a smart match to book to bring in the newer fans who didn't watch ECW growing up."

[9.0] "Like Raw, this was a very good go home show for the One Night Stand PPV, only this show had good wrestling on top of it with the main event and Angle/Booker, and the only real low point was the Heidenreich squash."

[5.0] "Durchschnittliche Ausgabe von SmackDown. Das Anfangssegment war in Ordnung. Teddy Long geht darauf ein das Cena zu RAW gedrafted wurde und SmackDown nun ohne Champ da steht. JBL verlangt das ein neuer Titel eingeführt wird und er Champ wird was der GM ablehnt. Benoit ist der erste Draft für den blauen Brand und so kommt es auch zum Match zwischen den beiden im Main-Event. Der Opener war schlecht. Carlito siegt mit einem Einroller und Morgan darf wieder seine Kraft zeigen. Akio vs London war sehr schlecht. Das Match wurde behandelt wie der letzte Dreck. Eddie kam kurz nach Beginn des Matches raus und nimmt wie erwartet Mysterio ins Visier. Angle vs Booker T war in Ordnung. Das Match dürfte diese bescheidene Fehde auch beenden. Angle haut sich selbst mit einem Stuhl und Booker T sackt den Sieg ein. Angle legt sich mit Tazz an weil er denkt er ist ein ECW Verbündeter und schlägt ihn mit einem Stuhl. Heidenreich vs Jobber war grauenhaft. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Ganz solides Match bis ECW und die Gegenfraktion sich prügelten. Tazz kommt am Ende raus mit Mahoney und Axl Rotten die wie schon bei RAW als Sieger im Ring standen."

[7.0] "Gegen Ende eine ziemlich heiße Show, die gut mit der ECW Storyline spielt. Zudem gab es mit Booker/Angle ein sehenswertes Match und Benoit wurde zu SD gedraftet. Sehenswert."
