[6.0] "This show delivered where it mattered with the Gold Rush tournament with the two solid matches between Benoit/Kane and HBK/Edge being the best matches on the show and setting up an interesting angle with the final next week. It was a bit of a mixed bag overall because the show was oddly paced and theres sone bad filler here like the awful Simon Dean/Maven/Stacy segment killing a lit of time and a lot of my interest in the show with the Tag Title feud again looking worthless! There's an uninteresting storyline with La Resistance looking like they might split and are randomly put into singles matches. Conway's match is better because he's against Benjamin, but it's not a very interesting storyline. Also despite the tournament going on, it's obvious Triple H is the final boss PPV opponent for Batista because there's a long opening segment dedicated to it. I am somewhat liking the storyline again because Triple H losing his stranglehold on Raw is interesting as he's becoming more and more desperate. There's also an interesting rivalry going on where Ric Flair is feuding with Christian and beats Tomko this week to set up next week's match. Hassan and Davari also begin a feud with Jericho and Benjamin, which looks an interesting tag match next week because of the heat Hassan and Davari are still getting. There's good set up on this show for next week, but a lot of what happens this week ends up being a bit hit and miss."

[5.0] "This was a very average show, as outside of the main event and Kane/Benoit match, as well as the opening segment, nothing else really stood out about this episode. A lot of filler and squash matches and the segment where Simon Dean and Maven interrupted Stacy was the epitome of filler."
