"I'm tired of this format now and would much prefer a return to the original Dark with promos and interviews and fewer matches, but matches that actually mean something and aren't just squashes. The Butcher and The Blade were great, it was nice to see more of Butcher's power. Avalon and Cutler continue to work well. The only other interesting moments were Brandi's ring gear, the cut of Allie's singlet around the crotch and getting to see more of Starks. The fall from grace for Archer is very strange."
[5.0] "Fairly standard episode of Dark. Length at 58 mins was good. Spears vs. Caster at least had an angle and it was good that Spears won clean over someone but still came off heelish. Archer vs. Pete went way longer than it should have and was not competitive. Starks vs. Garrison was the best match as it allowed Starks to properly get a win and Garrison again looked very good. Sky vs. Pierce was a pointless squash. Allie & Brandi vs. Jobber Ladies was not good from a wrestling perspective but told a good story, especially with Allie coming off as the superior wrestler (which she is), which annoys Brandi. Bed & Breakfast squashing two lightweights was again unnecessary fluff that served no purpose. Young Bucks vs. Cutler & Avalon was fun in that the Bucks got their "stuff in" and Cutler and Avalon have a fun dynamic, but it wasn't much of a match. If you're pressed for time, I recommend just watching Starks vs. Garrison and the Allie/Brandy match as those were the only ones that actually served a purpose, although Bucks vs. Avalon & Cutler was fun and not a total waste of time."
[6.0] "The Young Bucks vs. Cutler/Avalon is fun and brings the show above average. The rest are your usual Dark squashes, with Lancer Archer and Shawn Spears doing good character work."
