But it was about building Mania and it did an ok job at that, though all the best build was already done. JBL was fun as always and Bob Orton suckering Taker into taking the RKO was a good segment. I sure don't need to see Eddie and Rey losing to the Bashams though, even with an asterisk. On to Wrestlemania."

Outside of the battle royal there was no good wrestling whatsoever and the most notable story development was Cena getting arrested and Eddie and Rey accidentally costing each other matches against the Bashams."
[4.0] "This show had a similar problem to Raw's Wrestlemania go home show, where there wasn't much action in the ring and all of the PPV build had already happened, however I found this show to be worse because there was never really a pretense on Raw when it came to the wrestling and the segments ended up being passable. Here the wrestling is straight up bad and the show is dominated by boring segments like the Big Show/Akebono weigh in or wrapping up the Angle/HBK build with a long extended beatdown of Josh Matthews with nobody coming out to help. The stuff with Rey Mysterio and Eddie was fine where they both accidently cost each other singles matches against the Bashams, which is also a smart way to make the Bashams the main contenders after Wrestlemania. Paul London winning the Cruiserweight title was a nice moment, but we're not even seeing proper matches in that division anymore. London was established as the number 1 contender last week, but has to win a battle royal instead? Why? The twist with Bob Orton reasoning with The Undertaker ending in an amush was pretty good and JBL getting Cena arrested was alright. It's still a skippable show overall."
