[7.0] "I expected the worst when I saw the rating for this. It's definitely weaker than the previous raw but there were some good moments."

[3.0] "Pretty weak episode of Raw overall. Long Triple H promo, decent Shelton squash, ice cold Maven win, bad La Resistance match, Snitsky likes feet, racist angle continues, bad main event. The Evolution tag match was solid at least and the Batista stuff continued to unfold well, so there's that."

[5.0] "Average Raw overall. The main storyline on this show is fantastic and the next show in Japan was built up very well, but the matches here are lackluster with the only good match on the show being the Orton/HBK vs HHH/Flair match and even then it's marred by the awful Orton concussion storyline, which is a very cheap way to get fans to sympathize with him. Kane vs Snitsky is an example of how bad the WWE cage match stipulation sometimes is. It's thankfully short, but a very poor main event. Most of the matches are just kinda there and the booking for the Tag Team Title match in particular was just nonsensical. The opening segment and everything involving Batista is awesome. Triple H is up to his usual scheming where he plays a video of JBL trash talking Batista. Fans want the HHH/Batista match to happen so much even Teddy Long gets heat for trying to poach him to Smackdown! I also enjoyed the HBK/Edge segment which ended up playing to the finish of the tag match later on."

[5.0] "This was a great show storyline wise, but the matches were very rushed for the most part, and some even being complete filler, such as Maven/Hurricane, which had no reason to happen."

[5.0] "This was an okay post Royal Rumble edition of RAW. The first two matches are far from bad but ultimately too short to entertain. The World Tag Title match was more of a set up for Jericho and Benoit to have an explainable match in Japan next week. Slaughter comes out to teach Hassan some American values (which is ridiculous considering I just watched Summerslam '91 where the Sarge played an anti-American against Hulk and Warrior). Orton/HBK vs. Evolution is a pretty good tag team match, as well as my MOTN, even though it felt like a segment sometimes. The main event was slow, boring and honestly pretty tame considering this is the payoff for a considerably violent storyline. Plus, why even inject Trish into the match? I understand Kane attacked her because she made fun of Lita two weeks prior, but to bring her back injured just so Kane (the face) can try chokeslam her and have Snitsky (the heel) save her is extremely confusing for me, let alone a casual viewer."
