[8.0] "A good episode before the super show. It was interesting to watch. There wasn't much wrestling but there were a lot of good segments."

[4.0] "Bookended by a pair of pretty good matches, the meat of this sandwich was chock full of burials, racist gaslighting, creepy Triple H being creepy on multiple women, Eric Bischoff basically being an NPC at this point, and a 2005 Val Venis match. Woof."

[4.0] "Not an amazing episode, kind of middling. First and last matches were both good, especially the last. Tajiri losing in like 20 seconds was some true BS and Batista doing the weird flag in butt spot to La Resistance was embarrassing, not to mention a way to truly crap on the tag division. Muhammad Hassan's whole shtick continues to be racist as hell."

[7.0] "I thought this was another decent episode of Raw with a fun opening 6-Man Tag as well as a solid Orton v Flair main event and the storylines on the show set things up very well for the Royal Rumble. The Rumble qualifying matches was mostly filler though with the exception of Batista's match and I did somewhat enjoy the Triple Threat because of Kane and Snitsky selling the beating they gave each other last week and still beating Maven. Batista's push has been fantastic to watch and he's practically face already at this point. His interactions with Triple H and Ric Flair are great all show. The problem is the Orton v Triple H feud isn't great even if the matchup itself isnt bad. The segment where Triple H and Flair beats up JR and his 72 year old hero Danny Hodge is particularly bad because Orton takes forever to make the save and only does it when he's about to Pedigree Stacy Kiebler! It's booking like that that makes me less invested in the Orton babyface character and something needed to change after the PPV."

[7.0] "This was a very solid episode of Raw, despite the lack of wrestling. The opener and main event were both really good, the show never felt boring at any point whatsoever, and most importantly, it did a really good job in promoting the Royal Rumble PPV."

[7.0] "A really good episode of RAW with the opener and main event being the best matches of the night. The backstage segments with Evolution were great and overall it was a good pre-Rumble RAW."
