[5.0] "The episode peaked with the great match between rey and eddie - The rest of the episode was below par tho although Angle getting stitched up was entertaining"

[4.0] "The Eddie/Rey match was good, but that's about all that was good on the show. The Cena segment was horrid. The Joy stuff was pretty bad too."

[6.0] "Bit of a middling episode but not bad. Best match obviously was the first one, great match between two legends. None of the other matches are too memorable but I enjoyed the silliness of the JBL/Angle/Big Show feud progression. Cena's rap battle with Kenzo Suzuki was awful though."

[6.0] "Eddie vs Rey Mysterio is a must see match if you are a fan of either as they are really creative with everything they do in there. The Undertaker handicap match in the main event was nonsensical and the feud is awful. The Kurt Angle bit was somewhat funny where he's set up with Joy and Big Show winds up beating him up. The matches are just there with a particularly insulting Cruiserweight Title match, where the action itself wasn't bad, but the focus was on Carlito going ringside getting signatures for his petition. Could they not have done that in a match that wasn't a title match as the Cruiserweight division is completely dead without Mysterio or Chavo in it! Cena and Suzuki battle rap is kinda there. Suzuki is somewhat entertaining as a goof, but it goes on for far too long. It's a very hit and miss show for me overall."

[7.0] "Overall a very good episode of smack down only thing that drug the show down was the main event in my opinion but other than that I felt this was a great build show for the royal rumble 2005 Ppv."

[6.0] "A fun episode of Smackdown full of good wrestling continues to succesfully develop storylines heading into the Royal Rumble. The World Title picture is a lot of fun and a nice alternative to watching the enjoyable yet obvious unfold on RAW with Evolution."
