[8.0] "Quite a good Raw for this era. All three matches were at least solid with some effort put in, no duds and the tag match in particular was quite good. The through line of the world title decision hanging over everyone was well done also. Only real drawbacks were an obligatory Snitsky segment and the debut of Mohammed Hassan, a supposedly layered character who immediately interrupts a salute to the troops so his manager can scream in Arabic at the fans. Yeah, what a character."

[9.0] "This was a really good episode of Raw here, as all the matches were good, with the first two being the standouts, and really good storyline progression with the vacated world title and Hassan having a really good promo exchange with Foley. the only real low point was the Snitsky segment involving Christy, Candice, and Melina (before she became the manager of MNM) until Lita cutting a promo on Snitsky promoting Kane, which didn't make sense as he technically raped her and forced her to marry him. Yeah."

[9.0] "Excellent show here with the hook of the entire episode around what Eric Bischoff was going to do about the vacated World Title. The wrestling was good with a very good Orton vs Edge match with an interesting booking decision where Orton got the clean win and the Benoit/Jericho vs HHH/Batista match was also a very good wrestling match where it continued the ongoing storyline with Batista where he picks up the win against Benoit with Triple H looking jealous of him afterwards. Triple H was booked as a vulnerable champion after the Survivor Series and he comes off more and more desperate with every show. The Elimination Chamber announcement was great and it looked a stacked match. Elsewhere Mohammed Hassan makes his first appearance interrupting Foley and while I did find it a bit heavy handed at points, this was a high profile way to debut a new character and Hassan gets a lot of heat. There's a random bit with Snitsky threatening Christy, which teases Kane's return and the 6-man tag was filler. This was a typically strong 2004 episode of Raw overall."
