[4.0] "Not terrible but not exactly a thrilling episode of Smackdown. Tons of attention on the Tough Enough contestants making out with Mae Young, which is about as exciting as you would expect. None of the matches were great but none were awful either, the Eddie/RVD tag was match of the night."
[3.0] "There is at least some build up for the Survivor Series PPV on this show, which by default makes it a better show than last week. It's still a terrible show overall though because of the terrible storylines, wrestling and segments dominating the show. Despite the stupid way Cena was written off the show, it is exciting to have him announced as Eddie's last teammate, however he doesn't show up on the show at all which somewhat weakens the main event which is essentially an extended heat segment for the uninteresting heel team. There's a decent Eddie/RVD carry job in the tag match, and the Cruiserweight tag is fun while it lasts but that's about all I can say about the positive side of things. The main event feud gives us a terrible Jordan vs Matthews match and the show is still dominated by the terrible Tough Enough segments, which this week was Diva Search levels of awful with the extremely played out Mae Young jokes! Fair play to Mike Mizanin for ending up with a great career with the WWE as it is a miracle he managed to make it past segments like this!"
[4.0] "This was miles better than last week because the matches were good outside of Mathews/Jordan, but the same bad storylines and Tough Enough were still dominant, and Mathews, the Velocity announcer, being a big part of the Survivor Series title match build is just terrible."
