The guy who shouted "Michael Jackson! " before Snitsky kicked the baby always gets a pop out of me. And we also get one of the first instances of Batista setting his eyes on the World title, which was very good."

Solid through storyline of Triple H not being able to rely on his team, including a memorable moment where Batista first hints interested in the world title, with a good pop from the crowd. But, also, Snitsky punted a baby so here we are."

[9.0] "Not only was this really good as a good as a go home show for the Survivor Series, but the stakes of the main event feud also made Raw feel like a must watch show for the next several weeks. Only 3 matches here, but Randy Orton v Batista and Benoit v Edge are both excellent matches and Shelton getting a convincing win over Tomko also served it's purpose well. Despite being so segment heavy, the wrestling is very good here over all. The storylines here are great too with the dissension in the ranks of Triple H's team where Edge and Snitsky both openly go after the World Title if they win and this show also had the first real tease for Batista going after the title continuing the excellent long term storytelling that's been going on with Evolution all year! The Lita and Trish segment at the Highlight Reel was also very entertaining because of the hilarious moment where Snitsky punts the baby doll into the crowd. The only bad thing about the show was the Simon Dean infomercial segment dragging on and not nearly being as funny as last week. Overall this felt like one of the classic Raw episodes we got consistently from the first half of 2004."

[8.0] "This show had only three matches, but the main event was very good and the show built up Survivor Series very well without being boring. Most of the talking segments were good, especially the Highlight Reel where Snitsky punted the stuffed baby into the crowd."
