[9.0] "My first live SmackDown! A really exciting Battle Royal here, especially when it gets down to Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle. I think this is one of the stronger Ruthless Aggression SDs, although I'm certain nostalgia plays a factor as well. A really fantastic treat for the live fans in attendance was seeing The Undertaker in action, though I don't remember that much about that match. As a previous commenter mentioned, better than the first live UK Raw, which wasn't bad in itself either..."
[7.0] "This was a pretty good show, as it was carried by the matches, most notably the battle royal and Rey/Carlito, though the JBL/Holly match was actually solid because it played to both of their strengths, which is hardcore brawling. The Heidenreich promo was bad as were the first two matches, but the rest was very solid."
[7.0] "I liked this show more than the UK edition of Raw although the main event is weak with Eddie still stuck in a terrible feud with Luther Reigns that sadly doesn't look like ending anytime soon. Overall, I thought the rest of the show was pretty solid with a decent battle royal that lead to a very good Carlito vs Rey Mysterio match later on in the show and I was actually more impressed with that match than his debut last week. JBL vs Hardcore Holly was fine for what it was and RVD vs Dupree was short but had a really sick looking bump in there! The Kidman stuff is still really good and I'm very excited for Chavo's return next week. I thought it was a solid in ring show. I thought the way John Cena was written off the show was really stupid though where we are told that he was stabbed at a nightclub. Whaaaaaat? Also the Heidenreich stuff is still really bad, but it's kinda hilarious how they show footage of a random child crying insted of his beat down of the fans last week."
[5.0] "An ok episode of Smackdown from this era. The battle royal was fun and Rey vs. Carlito was a good TV match. JBL/Holly was good for the short time it got. This Kidman push stinks, as does Luther Reigns. The Heidenreich stuff is seriously silly."
[3.0] "Schlechte Ausgabe von SmackDown. Der Opener war schlecht. Schneller Sieg für RVD mehr nicht. Haas vs Kidman war schlecht. Auch hier ein kurzes und fast bedeutungsloses Match. Die Battle Royal war in Ordnung. Eine standardmäßige Battle Royal mit einem packenden und starken Finale zwischen Angle und Mysterio. Da Cena wohl ausfällt wurde eine Battle Royal gemacht um einen neuen Gegner für Carlito zu finden. Holly vs JBL war schlecht. Lahmes Hardcore Match und auch viel zu kurz und mit so einem Ende finde ich diesen kleinen Höhenflug für Holly nicht so fair. Heidenreich versucht wieder einen Reim vorzulesen lässt sich aber von den Fans provozieren und führte zu nichts. Carlito vs Mysterio war in Ordnung. Man vertraut Carlito anscheinend viel und steckt ihn direkt in das nächste längere Match. Nettes Match. Der Main-Event war schlecht. Ein Rematch von No Mercy was durch Jindraks Eingreifen beendet wurde. Auch Angle kam hinzu und die drei wollten Eddie die Haare abrasieren bis Big Show Eddie rettet."
