[6.0] "I liked how this episode was mostly themed around showcasing the competitors that were going to be competing in the TNT title tournament, while also giving us a chance to see the champ at time."
[8.0] "This was a series of really fun matches. It is great to see indy talent being allowed to wrestle with their own gimmicks and show some of their own moves against established talent. So what if they are squashes, how does that take anything away from the quality of the wrestling? And to be fair, only Moxley, the champion, actually squashed his opponent and that is to be expected as he squashes signed talent. Sells was a throwback to the early 90s, Vance showed some nice power moves and all the indy guys sold perfectly. The four matches were all fun with the added bonuses of Cody's technical commentary and Hager choking out Mox. If you didn't enjoy this week's Dark, then don't bother watching again as it won't be better than this and stick to the crap churned out by the other company."
[7.0] "Really enjoyed Allin vs. Vance, and liked the Guevara squash and promo as well. As long as AEW is carrying on, this is the right way to do it I'd say."
[5.0] "Guevara/Sells and Spears/Dean were WCW Saturday Night style extended squash matches. Moxley/Andre was a total squash but then had some solid story development with Hager attacking after the bell. Allin/Vance was a somewhat more entertaining and competitive match than the others **. Again, this episode gets a bonus point for the circumstances and getting these Indie workers a payday during this rough time."
