[8.0] "The main event cage match and the cruiserweight tag match makes this episode a good watch, but I am really tired of the booking around John Cena at this point. This show starts out with an extremely boring promo that lasts more than 15 minutes where three of Cena's rivals want to be awarded the US Title after the stupid stripping last week and it's just goes on and on. There is a good moment where Cena throws Luther Reigns through a wall, but then there's a really badly booked handicap match where it takes 4 men to beat him! Thankfully the rest of the show is very good, with the main event JBL/Eddie match being a fantastic end to the feud and the spot where Eddie hits the Frog Splash from the top of the cage is just awe inspiring! Thumbs up for the Summerslam commercials by the way, they was a lot of fun!"

[8.0] "This show is really good, especially since this is the episode with the JBL/Eddie cage match, which takes up the entire last third of the show, and the cruiserweight tag match is also good. The handicap match was extremely formulaic, especially since Kenzo and Rene were not the best of workers."

[7.0] "The Us title scene isn't doing it for me, but Cena getting all fired up backstage and putting Luther Reigns through the wall was cool as hell. The cruiserweight tag match was a nice fast-paced match to watch. The other two matches on the show are just there and there's nothing really to see. Eddie vs JBL was an amazing match to close off their rivalry. Michael Cole going off on Angle for faking his injury afterward was great stuff. This was a good show mainly due to the main event."
