[5.0] "An almost bang average show. The Cell match is one of the most bloated and ego-driven matches you can find, but it is decent. Benoit/Kane and Orton/Benjamin are strong matches from this card, but the rest is kind of mediocre. Putting it all together, this edition of Bad Blood isn't boring and isn't a show you'll regret watching, but there isn't much that elevates it either. It is a run of the mill PPV that delivers enough to move the calendar along without doing anything special."

La Hell in a cell Match debo decir que a pesar de ser la más larga en la historia de las Hell in a cell no se siente lenta, aunque aún así no la pondría entre mis favoritas. Victoria merecía un reinado más largo."

[4.0] "The WWE roster in 2004 just was not deep enough to be doing split-brand PPVs. 70% of this show felt like it'd be considered filler on Raw and yet it's filling the majority of a PPV. Orton/Benjamin and Benoit/Kane were both pretty good and prop up the score here a ton. The main event is genuinely my least favorite match of all time, made even worse by the fact that it runs over 45 mins."

[7.0] "Good show overall. The Triple H vs Shawn Michaels Hell in a Cell match ran a little too long with the finishing stretch, but I was loving the match up to that point and I still thought it was good overall. Chris Benoit vs Kane was a really enjoyable clash of styles. Orton vs Benjamin was great with some really creative near falls. Trish winning the women's title was good. I quite enjoyed the comedy stuff in the Eugene match. The opening tag was fine and Jericho carries Tomko to an okay match. It's very solid in ring show which was definitely reflective of what was going on every week on Raw at the time and had the main event had a stronger finish, I would have rated this higher."

[4.0] "Once again a lot of filler and some bad stuff, but at least it wasn't at the level of the previous RAW PPVs. Still it wasn't great, but at least it had Orton vs Shelton and a fantastic Randy promo before that, plus Triple H vs Michaels was alright, although I wouldn't mind it being cut in half. Also Benoit vs Kane wasn't bad, but unfortunately it didn't have the world title match aura and the rest was nothing worth the time. The opener showed once again that La Resistance are a mid heel team at best, Jericho vs Tomko was the simplest match you can get, the Fatal 4 Way was a typical women's chaos and Eugene vs Coachman showed that Dinsmore was a very talented guy trapped with a rotten gimmick. Overall not awful, but I still don't look forward to these RAW shows."

"Shawn Michaels vs Triple H, the best rivalry told in Ruthless Aggression for me, the other fights were correct, the fights for the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight titles were splendid."

[5.0] "This was a perfectly fine show with nothing outright bad, except the last 10 minutes or so of the main event that shit was torture and I've never wanted a match to end so badly. The best match on the show was easily Benoit vs Kane, Benoit was so damn good that he had a **** singles match with Kane what a wrestler. If the main event wasn't so self-indulgent, they could've had a pretty good match but 40+ minutes means epic so we got what we got."

[6.0] "A perfectly solid show. Sure, the main event was super underwhelming. But the one before it was lowkey a show-saving classic. I thought Orton/Benjamin was very good, and the opening tag was quite energetic too. The rest was just there, but I don't know how could you even put Coach/Eugene on a freakin' PPV. What a total time waster that was."

[5.0] "Most of this show was pretty good, the biggest highlights for me were the awesome Benoit/Kane match and the pretty great Orton/Benjamin match. I thought the main event was an impossible slog though, and Coach/Eugene was cringey as well, not so much because of Eugene but because why the heck did they keep booking Coach to wrestle? ! ?"

[6.0] "It's an event with two great matches, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels, and Benoit vs Kane, and two good matches, Orton vs Benjamin and the opener between La Resistance and Benoit & Edge. The other matches were bland, Tomko vs Jericho is too short to be enjoyed and Christian is not present. Eugene vs The Coach reaches a new level of 'bad match', a useless comedy that doesn't make people laugh, but it's embarassing. I have no idea why they had to do it. There is also a great promo from Randy Orton before his match with Shelton Benjamin. Bad Blood 2004 is a good event, not as exciting as Backlash, but saved by his upper-card. It's also the beginning of the end for Edge and Benoit as a short lived team. ***1/4"
