[7.0] "I felt this episode was helped by CM Punk being on commentary. The Adam Cole/Jungle Boy opener was good, as was the main event with Sammy Guevara and Miro. teh Dark order got a chance to shine with a victory over Matt Hardy's faction. The best episode they've had in a while, honestly."

[8.0] "A perfect 8 score, the fact that it was a Jon Huber tribute show boosted the rating to a higher level. The bookend matches were great i.e opener and the main event. The MOTN was also tied between these two matches. Everything in between was rather mid and unimpressive. The segments were much better than the in-ring content. The top ones being Allin/MJF promo, Danielson and co., and the notorious Arn Anderson glock gesture. Lambert cut an engaging promo as well. Other memorable moments include the reunion of the Dark Order, probably the best of the night considering the fact that the purpose of this show was to honor and respect the life of Jon Huber. I love how they're slowly trying to build up FTR for tag team title contention as FTR vs Lucha Bros will be a worthy match-up. The LBO gimmick sounds like a cool one for LIO. Shida/Deeb should be a banger and Ruby/Britt video package was grand stuff too. Closing the show with Sammy putting the beast ' Miro' to rest was a wonderful way to conclude his reign and create a star in the process. Overall, great show with some hiccups in terms of in-ring quality and an atrocious future program in plans involving Jade and Nyla along with Rosa which should subside for some of the crap we'll have to witness."

[5.0] "This was a very middle of the road episode for me. In ring there were no real good matches. No real bad ones either (with the exception of the women's match), just bland, uninteresting matches. Even Jungle Boy vs Adam Cole was kind of "meh". As far as promo and segments go, nothing terribly interesting either. MJF vs Darby promos were cool, and I would like to see where that rivalry goes. Shida's promotional package was also fine, as was the women's three way match tease for rampage. Other than that, the show was very unremarkable. Ok at best, boring at worst."

[9.0] "Very good episode of Dynamite to set up more in the future. Arn & MJF had fantastic promos, and Danielson is over as fuck which is nice. Cole vs JB was okay (***). NF vs Sydal & Dante was mediocre (**1/4). Darby/Mox/Eddie vs Bears & Greene was actually a lot of fun for what it was, Bear Country really should get a push (***1/4). The Dark Order match was beautiful clusterfuck in tribute to Brodie where John Silver looked like THE Guy (****). Women's tag was an extension of the Brodie love (**3/4+). Main event was really well-done for the time it had and made Sammy & Miro both look good despite Miro losing clean and Sammy being worked over for most of it (***3/4). Punk was really good on commentary all night as well, although him never once acknowledging Cabana during the Dark Order match was funny."

[5.0] "I must admit that the "Nudge-nudge wink-wink" stuff is getting really grating for me. Lambert was just about on the "Okay" side of it with references to bad booking, which, okay, I can buy as something existing even within kayfabe, but when you have the Young Bucks referring to themselves as "EVPs", talking about "Cutting promos", and generally acting like a half-time comedy act, and you follow that up with Orange Cassidy doing his comedy gimmick amidst what should be a serious angle, well, you start to lose me. Having said that, the opener was maybe a bit WWE for my tastes but still quite good, and the main event was okay. Not so sure about everything else. Is that Homicide over and done with now already?"

[7.0] "Really solid episode of Dynamite this week. Cole vs. Jungle Boy was great, because of course it was, but I wasn't a fan of the Elite/Danielson promo that followed it. It just felt like treading old ground and "Kenny No Balls" is some juvenile shit I'd expect to see on an episode of Raw. Conversely, the Rhodes tag match was pretty meh but the Cody/Arn promo that followed it was stellar. Cody Rhodes might actually start becoming a compelling character again! Huzzah! Still trying to figure out why Mox and Kingston keep teaming up with Darby Allin, like I get they're buds or whatever but what's the point in constantly putting them over random trios of goofs? 16-man tag was what it was, a nice feel-good moment for the Rochester crowd but I'm kind of bummed the Dark Order just made up and everything seems all hunky dory between them now, it reminds me of Jimmy Uso's character arc over the summer that resolved into nothing and him just reverting back into being a lackey like this brother. Super happy to see Lio Rush back. Not sure if he's officially un-retired from in-ring competition or just going to be some sort of manager going forward but either way he's a valuable asset for AEW. Dan Lambert is a ridiculously good promo and he really makes the "cranky old boomer" gimmick work, and MOTY are underrated on the mic as well. I hope we finally get something going with these two. Women's tag was the only real blemish on the show. Anna Jay and The Bunny are just not that good and neither Conti nor Ford are good enough to cover for them. But luckily it didn't overstay its welcome and hopefully all four women can finally move on from this boring program. MJF cuts another fantastic heel promo, because of course he does, but the whole "haha, you have childhood trauma because a family member died when you were young" thing literally JUST happened with Brian Pillman Jr. I get it's a super easy way to get heat but again, we're treading old ground here. I'm also not a huge fan of them forcing this concept of the "four pillars" of AEW already, it seems just a tad presumptuous and disrespectful to the actual Four Pillars of Heaven. Their match that I'm assuming will take place at Revolution should be an instant classic though. Main event was also very solid, with Sammy playing a great underdog against Miro. I was a little bit shocked that Guevara actually won but not disappointed at all, and it was a great feel-good moment to close out the show. Sammy deserves it given how much he's grown and progressed as a character over these last two years, and hopefully he has a great reign with the TNT title. Not a whole lot to complain about with this episode but also nothing particularly amazing either. Just a mostly enjoyable, easily watchable episode, which is really all you can ask for, especially coming off the near-perfect Grand Slam."

[10.0] "This was my favorite episode of Dynamite possibly all year, and by far one of the best shows they've put on since the shows inception. Everything felt so fresh and exciting. We opened with the double whammy of CM Punk coming out for commentary and then Adam Cole coming out for his match with Jungle Boy. These are two of the biggest stars in the company and just their music alone is enough to get the crowd fired up. Cole and Jungle Boy had an amazing match. Jungle Boy kicking out of the Panama Sunrise and Cole's reaction to it were perfect moments. Daniel Bryan came out (at this point the crowd is lava) and the big tag for next week's anniversary show was set up. After an UNBELIVABLE showing from Dante Martin (future legend) we also got that intense Arn Anderson glock promo, which is of course now the subject of countless great memes on Twitter. MJF's promo on Darby was predictably disgusting and low, which for a heel is excellent. Everything surrounding the 16-man tag, The Dark Order's inner conflicts and Amanda coming out to get everyone's asses in gear...it was all so touching and fun to watch. Sammy and Miro had a very good main event match. I hated seeing God's favorite champion drop the title, but it was probably time. Oh, and I forgot about Dan Lambert and The Men of the Year. All three men were ace on the mic, as usual. The women's tag match and the 6-man match weren't anything mindblowing, but still good and worth a watch. Everything just came together so well. This show continues to impress on a weekly basis. I'm addicted."

[7.0] "Main event was a Dynamite MOTY contender for me. Both men are so good at the simple stuff. Opener was also very decent, and some fun midcard matches, women's and Cody's notwithstanding. Didn't care about The ELITE's or MJF's promo. Lio Rush's promo was bizarre, wtf was he talking about? Loved Dan Lambert's, and Ethan Page spoke no lies."

[8.0] "Very good show. Dedicated show to Brodie but they also managed to move their product forward without being disrespectful to the late Great TNT Champion. Three matches stood out: Cole Vs Jungle Boy, Dark Order Vs The Hardy Family and the TNT Title match. MJF cuts another yet incredible promo but I didn't like how he brought up Darby's past. It was a cheap way to get heat and I hope AEW doesn't bring up a wrestler's traumatic past in the future. No MoTYC but great storytelling. The main event was a great moment for AEW and Sammy Guevara who wins The TNT Title on a night dedicated to the man who is synonymous with it. Also, loved the Amanda Huber cameo. RIP Brodie- who will be missed."

[5.0] "A real mix of good and bad. Jungle Boy & Adam Cole had a mostly awesome match (with maybe a few moments of downtime in the middle), Arn Anderson cut an absolutely phenomenal promo and the finish to the main event was beautiful and gripping to watch unfold. Conversely, Bryan Danielson cut a horrendous promo that simultaneously managed to be incredibly generic and off-puttingly immature (although I have to admit that the crowd ate it up, so that's something), and the women's tag match was an awkward affair with numerous whiffed moves. With all respect to a woman who's had a tragic year, the involvement of Amanda Huber in the Dark Order saga felt very unwieldy to me - she more than deserves her flowers, but resolving this engagingly messy fictional drama with the blunt use of a real-life figure like that was very unsatisfying, in my opinion. By all accounts she's a wonderful person, but it doesn't really feel like the Dark Order actually resolved their tension or developed any further; this was more akin to an author quickly inserting a happy ending than a natural and enjoyable resolution. I think CM Punk actually detracted from commentary more than he added to it tonight - his snarky detachment played well as a contrast to the hyper-polished, emotionally anaesthetised nature of early 2010's WWE, but here it comes across as a distraction and more than once it came at the cost of the action unfolding onscreen. Rochester was also a slightly lousy crowd, so kudos to Ethan Page for once again drowning out the 'what! ' chants with his smug charisma. Whilst it's not great overall, I would still recommend watching this episode - it's a highly significant one for many reasons, and the good stuff on it is really, really enjoyable - you just might have to grit your teeth throughout some of its weaker moments."
