Christian vs Chris Jericho is a very solid bout, The Rock'n'Sock match is a hell of a fun time seeing all those different vibrant personalities interact with each other in-ring. Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar is a lull in the action but has always been a guilty pleasure for me because of the ironic enjoyment value I get out of it. Eddie vs Kurt Angle is a quality title match with an excellent and right ending, the Undertaker return match might not be the greatest but it's so damn ICONIC, and then there's the main event. What else can I say about this that hasn't been said already? The great Wrestlemania main event ever that should've never been. This is def a top 5 Mania in my book for sure"

At the very least, the most important stuff delivered."

[10.0] "It's 4.5 hour runtime is way too long, a lot of the weaker matches on the show feel like filler and Brock Vs Goldberg is one of the all time worst WrestleMania Matches ever, but both Christian Vs Jericho and Evolution Vs Rock n Sock Connection are really great, Eddie Vs Kurt is really brilliant, the main event is a masterpiece and there also so much great moments like Cena winning his first title in WWE, Undertaker's return the Deadman and the ending with Eddie and Benoit. Overall WrestleMania 20 (2004) maybe a long and over stacked show, but still a really fantastic show as well with most of the good outweighing the bad."

[5.0] "Overrated In my opinion Despite a outstanding main event - Only two good matches in the card with the other being the evolution v rock n sock match - it did have a couple good moments such as the deadman return and the Opener with cena winning the us title but a lot of bad matches on the card which makes me give it a 5/10"

[7.0] "A pretty solid night and definitely one of the better Wrestlemania's of all time. The main event was absolutely the match of the night and Eddie & Chris celebrating at the end of the show was an incredible moment. Kurt/Eddie was also a very solid match with Guerrero outsmarting Angle and sneaking out of Madison Square Garden with the win. The opener saw John Cena win his first championship in WWE by beating The Big Show for the United States Title by cheating and the crowd ate it up. This is the first real step for Cena to becoming a top guy a year later. Brock vs. Goldberg was pretty brutal with the first half being a lock up and the crowd shitting on them for leaving throughout it. Evolution vs. Rock n Sock was fun and had good moments, and Christian vs. Jericho kind of goes under the radar for it being as good as it was. The two women's matches were not much but it was wild seeing Molly getting her head shaved, and it seemed to go on forever through the Kurt/Eddie promo package and even still as Kurt was making his entrance. Solid 3.5 star show."

[6.0] "Jesus Christ, it was long, but the big matches delivered and from the longer ones only Lesnar vs Goldberg sucked ass, but at least it was kinda fascinating to see. But from the beginning: the opener was decent as Cena was really getting over and nicely played to the crowd's reaction, first Four Way was nothing special and Christian vs Jericho was okay, but it lacked more aggression from both guys. Then the Handicap Match used the nostalgia very well and it was great to see Rock back, especially since he stopped doing his irritating heel stuff from a year ago, women's bollocks was a skip and Cruiserweight Open was fun at times, but I wish it was more than just guys doing moves. Then Goldberg and Brock had a horrendously cold bout with fans completely turning on them and just staying silent, second Four Way suffered from the dead crowd and Victoria vs Molly was too short to make anything out of it, plus nobody really cared about the shaving. But then we got to the meat of the matter. First Eddie and Kurt delivered a fantastic match with both guys being at their peaks and really excelling with their psychology. Taker's return was fantastic and even though I wish his match against Kane was a squash match it was still fun seeing him wrestle in his old gimmick. And then the main event was another great contest, this time with Benoit getting the biggest reaction of the night and both Triple H and Michaels playing nicely to it, as they knew who was this match about. So overall a good show with some fantastic matches, but over 4 hours of this was too much."

[9.0] "I know this wasn't a perfect show, but my goodness this had some wonderful moments and great matches with two of the best title matches in Wrestlemania history. Sadly the triple threat main event is never mentioned by WWE these days, understandably so but it is one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all time and the emotional embrace with Benoit and Guerrero will never be forgotten. Eddie vs Kurt is the technical classic that is every bit as good as it sounds as well as having one of Eddie's most iconic finishes. Rock and Sock vs Evolution gets better with every viewing and is one of the most entertaining matches on the card particularly whenever The Rock and Ric Flair was tearing it up. Jericho vs Christian was some classic soap opera goodness and a really good match to boot. Undertaker vs Kane is just an iconic moment because of the return of the Deadman character and is very entertaining. Cena vs Big Show was basic but a special moment that gave Cena his first title win at a time he was red hot with the fans. Victoria vs Molly is memorable because of the stipulation and its also worth noting that this is the first Mania where the Hall of Fame was done every year and I never fail to tear up at one of the few times Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan broke character mourning the loss of Gorilla Monsoon. There are a few matches here that felt thrown together to add as many people to the card as possible and Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg is infamously bad, but I will say watching it today it is an unintentionally hilarious match."

[6.0] "A good enough wrestlemania. All the matches were either fun, short, or both, with one exception, and it didnt stink as much as others did, although the womans had, well, the worst representation ever, that stinked. Also stinker was goldberg vs lesnar, but at least the main event was great"

[8.0] "Not the greatest or the worst wrestlemania the last hour was great , the rock nsock vs evoulution and the cruiser weight macth were good, Goldberg vs Brock leaner stunk , Eddie vs Kurt stole the show and a great main event a very sad moment at the end as Chris Benoit and Eddie hugged at the end best friends who won the big titles both are now dead"

[7.0] "Absolutely one of the better Wrestlemania's of all time. The problem is, they tried to hard to get everyone on the card. So you have a TON of matches...half of them are the big main event matches that are given significant time...and the other half only get bell time for as long as their entrances take. So the short matches tend to be mediocre for the sole fact that they didn't have the time to get good. In my opinion, it's not a right to be on Wrestlemania. It's a privilege. It's a culmination of a year's worth of work in whatever spot in the card you're in. You shouldn't just have a massive card for the sake of getting people on. The people who earned it and won the fans over should get on and get a decent amount of time. So this tends to be a show where, you're either watching the whole thing, or you'll just throw it on for one of the high profile matches. The rest entirely fall to the wayside. Taker's return, Cena's big win, and of course the main event are the highlights for me. This card dug a bit too deep into the talent pool for my taste, but it's still an excellent card when you pack it all up."

[8.0] "Great Mania with a lot of filler. I guess "Where It All Begins... Again" is appropriate because the first few Manias were plagued with a fuckton of filler as well. There didn't need to be two tag team four ways, a playboy evening gown match (groan) and a cruiserweight open (more cruiserweight than ever) title match added just to get everyone on the card. I understand that it's a good payday but that's an awful lot of wrestling to watch. Everything else though... very good quality (apart from Goldberg/Lesnar). I liked the opening US title match more than I expected to, it's not great, no Big Show singles match really is, but there's a decent near fall in there with Cena's first FU and the ending is great. (*3/4) Jericho/Christian is a great underrated WM match, Evolution/Rock n Sock is super entertaining and the two world title matches are fantastic, two of the best in WM history. Hell, I even liked Taker/Kane more than I thought I would, it's not great obviously, it's not even a good match in all honesty but it's super fun. (*1/2). Oh yeah, and the cruiserweight open, filler as it is, is still a good match, just thought I'd clarify. Strip those other matches and you have a Top 5 Mania on your hands."

"This was the first wrestlemania I watched when I became a fan. I loved the show from top to bottom and watched the dvd hundreds of time. At the time, the stars seemed larger than life and Chris Benoit became a hero of mine right up to the tragedy. Watching it years later, I can now see the flaws. I remember the lesnar and Goldberg match being this almost Godzilla and King Kong like battle, but now I see it as the boring match that it is. The evening gown match is more cringe now than when I was 13. Besides the flaws, the show was as much fun as I remember watching. With some personal highlights being seeing John Cena win his first title, Molly Holly losing her hair, which I thought was shocking at the time that they actually did it. The feeling of disappointment that the rock and Mick Foley couldnt pull off the victory. Right up to the emotional end of Eddie and Chris hugging in the ring as both of them made it to the top in the worlds biggest promotion. I recommended people to go give the show a watch, it may not be the best wrestlemania ever but its a fun show to watch."

[6.0] "A Mania with some highlights but a ton of filler as well. Cena getting his first title is a cool moment but the match with Big Show was a pretty uninteresting opener (5/10) The first four way tag was a bit of a mess and should've been just RVD/Booker vs the Dudleys still not awful (5/10) Jericho/Christian had a good story and it was pretty fun even if it wasn't as intense as it maybe should've (7/10) The Handicap match was fun seeing Rock n Sock together with some good heel work by Evolution (7/10), the Playboy than was nothing more than an eye candy break, (2/10) The Cruiserweight match was solid for the amount of time they got but would've worked better with less guys involved (6/10) Goldberg/Lesnar is boring trash, only good bit was Austin stunning everyone (1/10) the second tag title match was slightly better than the first but still too short to give any team much of a chance to show off (5/10) Victoria and Molly was way too short but the head shaving was memorable (5/10) Eddie and Kurt started a bit slow but it was easily one of the better bouts on the show (8/10) Taker/Kane wasn't anything special, but it was short and the return of the Deadman was cool (6/10) The Main event is the best thing on the show by miles an awesome match, great story, some cool spots and a great ending visual (10/10) I think a 6 overall is fair"

[4.0] "This show has an amazing (albeit forever tainted) main event and a pretty good WWE title match, but the rest ranges from ok to outright bad. The next best thing after the previously mentioned matches is probably Christian and Jericho, and that isn't even entirely worth going out of your way to watch."

[7.0] "Cena/Show, and the cruiserweight match were both solid. Evolution vs Rock-n-sock connection was great, and so was Guerrero/Angle. Jericho/Christian was a good match with a good post-match. The two 4-ways were both bad, and probably shouldn't have been on the show. The evening gown match was embarrassing, Goldberg Lesnar wasn't good but it was hilarious so I found some enjoyment in that. Molly vs Victoria was nothing but the post match is definitely worth checking out. Taker/Kane was a good spectacle, and the main event was spectacular and easily MOTN. Overall a good show with a lot of junk on it for a WM."

[7.0] "Lot of bad matchs but lot of good ones as well. In my opinion the good ones compensates for the bad ones. What takes over is the overall presentation (the stage is amazing) and the effort they made to look historic - it works."

[2.0] "This show had a lot of bad on it. As with a lot of Manias, it is carried by a few big moments and the spectacle. Undoubtedly the main event is a technical classic but looking back stirs nothing but dull indifference. You have a few of the worst matches ever on this card along with maybe one classic with Angle and Eddie. Overall feels like a classic show that's more fun to watch documentaries about than the actual show."

[6.0] "Similarly to the drop between 17 and 18, the drop between 19 and 20 is a shame in terms of overall show quality as this was 4 and a half hours and was on the verge of being totally boring. And then Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit happened and gave the best ending to any Mania so far. It doesn't make this show great though, the undercard stuff is really dull and even the well received stuff like Christian/Jericho and Rock n Sock/Evolution didn't hit with me. Goldberg/Lesnar was the shits, the womens title match got awful treatment from commentary and Undertaker and Kane's 6 minute match felt like 10. But Eddie and Benoit happened and that alone is worth all of it."

[7.0] "This is a pretty good show with the fatal flaw of being an hour longer than it should be on account of it being the 20th edition. The world title matches are both excellent, two of the best matches period through the 20 year history of the show thus far, so that helps. Eddie and Benoit's triumphs were the right call and one of those pleasant surprises where WWE bows to the will of the fans. Elsewhere, Cena/Show, Jericho/Christian, Evolution vs Rock 'n' Sock, the Cruiserweight Open, and the return of the Deadman are worthwhile if not spectacular. There's some junk on this show though like the tag and women's titles matches, the evening gown nonsense, and the infamous flop that is Lesnar/Goldberg - even before the crowd killed that one, who on earth had the bright idea of giving it 15 minutes? And while I respect the history of hosting this in MSG, the atmosphere just isn't great. That and the runtime make this a slog but it has two great marquee matches and some solid undercard business going for it."

[9.0] "In my honest opinion, Mania 20 is one of the 3 greatest Mania's of all time. The only thing holding it back from the certified #1 spot is the disappointing mediocrity of some of the undercard matches, and the absolute drizzling shits that was Brock vs. Goldberg. What makes up for that is sheer, pro wrestling brilliance. Mania 20 has a little bit of everything on display from some of the absolute best technical wrestling I have ever been privileged enough to see, to campy soap opera nonsense to the rise of John Cena in WWE. Mania 20 is a bit of a slog and the card is absolutely jam packed, to its own detriment in a few cases, but it is absolutely worth your time. I promise you."

"Having looked back at the card for this Wrestlemania, compared to Wrestlemania's in both past and future, this one definitely wasn't as all hyped as I remembered. Aside from some of my favorite wrestlers picking up amazing wins, more than half of the card definitely seemed lacking for the most part. Which is sad, because this is always one of my favorites."

[6.0] "An overrated WrestleMania for me. Yeah, the main event and the ending with Benoit and Guerrero who celebrate together are absolutely amazing! The Angle - Guerrero match is very good and the Y2J - Christian and Evolution - Rock 'n' Sock are good. But the rest of the card is overall very poor, especially with the Lesnar - Goldberg match which is certainly the biggest flop in the history of WrestleMania!"

[4.0] "12 matches produced only 1 decent match and 1 really good match. Everything else was mediocre to awful. Show vs Cena was alright. A few okay spots from Show. Cena's offence was rare and limited, but he sold well. **3/4. The World Tag Title 4-way was very boring. RVD and Booker were the only decent ones. *3/4. Jericho vs Christian was mediocre. Fine babyface-vs-heel work, but middling chemistry and not very creative or explosive interactions. **1/2. Rock & Foley vs Evolution was alright. Rock and Foley got lots of crowd-pleasing spots, while Evolution were decent with their cheap tactics and beatdowns. ***. Jackie & Stacey vs Sable & Torrie was a typically cringey and desperately pandering "divas" match with no wrestling skills. Short and embarrassing. NR. The Cruiserweight Open was a fine series of unrealistically quick eliminations. Dead crowd, and only Mysterio truly impressed. **1/2. Lesnar vs Goldberg was very, very bad, featuring heaps of needless time-wasting and lifeless filler exchanges. The crowd chants were the sole point of entertainment. Both guys mostly carried this out very begrudgingly with 0 intensity or heart. *. The WWE Tag Title 4-way attempted to showcase all 8 guys and failed. Nothing at all interesting. 3/4*. Victoria vs Molly was another typically awful divas match, though at least an actual match this time. Still worthless and short. NR. Eddie vs Angle was very disappointing. No real intensity, physicality, or creativity to wake the crowd up. Angle was solid but clearly in autopilot mode, and Eddie sold decently as the fiery babyface but didn't hit nearly enough interesting work in his comeback. Eddie's cheap win was expected but still disappointing. **3/4. Taker vs Kane was just a returning showcase for Taker, with him effortlessly running through his series of mediocre signature moves and Kane doing the same to a lesser degree. Taker's aura kept this being outright bad, but it was still very anti-climactic considering its build. **1/4. Thank god HHH vs HBK vs Benoit was really good, since it was this bad show's one true bright point. Massively overrated, but still good. Benoit's intensity was obviously the highlight. HHH and HBK were good too but clearly still outclassed by the superior Benoit. The usual 3-way complaint about constant convenient run-ins of course applied here, and the constant WWE trademark of signature-move/finisher spam all match long resulted in a definite 'forced epic' feel, but all 3 guys at least delivered that spam with strong technique. Benoit's many hope spots and comebacks remained great, and the crowd thankfully popped big for them all. HHH and HBK's feud constantly tried to overshadow Benoit's own struggle, which sadly made Benoit quite an afterthought despite this match being his big crowning moment, but at least Benoit's eventual victory was therefore more shocking. All-time beautiful and now tragically bittersweet post-match celebration. ***1/2"

[8.0] "This was overall a good Wrestlemania that had ups and downs but, the ups were great and outweighed the bad for me. The best matches were the world title matches and the handicap matches, Christian vs Jericho could have been better and the US title match was a okay opener. The tag title matches were filler and Brock vs Goldberg lived up to its reputation which drags down the show."

Before the days of battle royales and multi man ladder matches it seems like they really struggled with what to do with their roster and in this case it resorted in a lot of exceedingly boring undercard matches. It's capped off with a trilogy of classic moments (Taker return) and matches (the two world titles matches) which does raise the quality of the overall affair but it was a chore to get there"

[6.0] "The hype for this show was nothing short of amazing and I not referring to the TV shows. Everything was hyping this show and the WWE logo was removed from t-shirts and replaced with the WMXX logo. The show its self did not match that hype and could certainly not follow WM 17 & WM 19. I actually think being in MSG hurt the event and took away from the epic nature of WM which we had been given at 17, 18 & 19. I was 13 soon to be turning 14 at the time, I was at the height of my childhood fandom and even at the time I felt this show was a let down. 2004 was the last year I addictively watched the WWE week to week and the rot started with this show. If you look at the card objectively it isn't great and suffers from feeling the need to cram everything onto the main show due to the historic nature. See both tag title matches. I want there to be brilliant tag wrestling on the show, but don't shoe horn these matches in just because you feel you have to. As a 13 year old John Cena v Big Show was match of the night as a 31 one year old it was Christian v Jericho with a nod to Angle V Eddie."

[5.0] "I cannot believe this show has such a high rating on this site, it is so disgustingly average it hurts. Cena vs Big Show and Christian vs Jericho are the only matches I have no complaints about, but they're both just fine. Taker and Kane wasn't great, but I actually liked Kane's performance here more than I thought I would. The two world title matches were good but they both outstayed their welcome for me. Obviously the ending is a beautiful moment, but as someone who was a toddler when this show happened, how can I look at this ending without a side eye considering what came in the years following. Foley worked hard in his match and the stage was cool, but I don't really have much else to add. Thumbs in the middle because nothing is really terrible on this show, but it's a hard skip on the recommendation."

[7.0] "Natürlich gab es hier einiges an Wrestlemania Feeling, besonders mit dem Main Event und der Jubelszene am Ende, allerdings wird das aber recht Groß? es gab quasi zweimal das selbe Match, mit den Tag Team Fourways, dann noch die Damenmatches und das furchtbare Lesnar gegen Goldberg? die anderen (tatsächlich aufgebauten) Matches waren alles samt solide oder besser. Für so eine lange Show gab es einfach zu viele Ausfälle, trotzdem war es ziemlich gut"

[7.0] "Die Show beginnt mit einem passend gewähltem Opener, der sehr stimmungsvoll begleitet wird. Das zweite Match verkörpert ein Problem dieser langen Show, Filler-Matches bekommen relativ viel Zeit und mind. eins der Tag Team Fatal 4 Ways oder die CW-Open hätten es auch bei Heat getan. Christian und Jericho liefern das erste kleine Highlight der Show, die Story wird gut weiter geführt und 15 technisch anspruchsvolle Matchminuten machen durchweg Spaß. Abwechslungsreich kommt dann das Handicap Match direkt im Anschluss, das auf eine kurzweiligere Art ebenfalls zu überzeugen weiß. Darauf folgt die schwächere Phase dieser Show mit 2 Fillern, dem Playboy Gegurke, leider auch dem Hair vs Hair Match und natürlich dem totalen Goldberg/ Lesnar Flop. Es hätte mich schon interessiert, ob bei einer normalen Crowd ein vernünftiges Match rumgekommen wäre. Aus dem Tief im Mittelteil holen langsam Eddie und Angle die Fans wieder zurück, das Match ist gut, beide scheitern neben der abgekühlten Crowd aber an den zu hohen Erwartungen - technisch sehr gut, die Story passt, den beiden ist eigentlich kein Vorwurf zu machen. Taker und Kane liefern in den 6 Minuten nicht ab und botchen sogar in dieser Kürze. Der Main Event ist dann sehr gut, klar auch das beste Match der Show und man zeigt ein perfektes Match mMn. Insgesamt gibt es überwiegend gutes bis sehr gutes Wrestling, die Card ist aber zu voll und da Lesnar/ Goldberg floppt hat man ein längeres Tief in der Mitte der Show."

[6.0] "It's a decent show that gets a bit overrated by how good the Benoit/HHH/HBK main event was. Lest we forget this is the same card that had a playboy evening gown match and an abysmal Goldberg/Brock Lesnar match."

[7.0] "US Title **, World Tag Titles *3/4, Y2J/Christian ***1/2, Handicap ***1/4, Women's Tag 1/2*, CW Title **1/2, Goldberg/Lesnar *, WWE Tag Titles *1/2, Womens Title **, Eddie/Angle ****1/2, Kane/Taker *1/4, Main Event *****. Bis auf die zwei World Title Matches ziemlich dürftig. Die waren jedoch großartig und sorgen dafür, dass Wrestlemania mit einem Feel-good-Moment endet, der dem von Bryan zehn Jahre später in nichts nachsteht. Deswegen trotzdem eine überdurchschnittliche Wrestlemania."

[7.0] "US Title **, RAW Tag Team * 1/2, Christian vs Jericho *** 1/4, Evolution vs RockNSock *** 1/2, Womens Tag DUD, Cruiserweights ** 1/4, Goldberg vs Lesnar DUD, SD Tag Team * 1/2, Angle vs Guerrero ****, Kane vs Taker * und der Main Event **** 3/4. Eine Show welche Matchtechnisch von den 2 World Title Matches getragen wurde. Dennoch war dies eine WM welche nicht auschließlich durch das Wrestling sondern auch durch viele Epische Momente Punkten konnte. Insgesamt wurde der Müll durch die 4 klaren Matchhighlights, den Taker Return und den ultimate Feel Good Moment kompensiert."

[9.0] "Wrestlemania XX ist eine der besten Manias überhaupt. Das Booking war zum Großteil einfach stark, die Matches haben abgeliefert und der ME ist einer der besten der Mania-Geschichte. Der Opener ist okay. Cena gewinnt seinen ersten Titel in der WWE gegen Big Show. Dabei hätte es auch bleiben sollen. Das Tag Team Title Fourway danach ist solide, geht nicht lang und RVD und Booker T verteidigen. Christian vs Chris Jericho ist sehr stark. Zwei hervorragende Wrestler, die in einer intensiven Fehde mit involvierung von Trish Stratus sind, die dann auch rauskommt und am Ende gegen Jericho turnt. Evolution vs Rock and Sock Connection ist ein Tag Team Match mit unglaublich hoher Starpower. Zwei wirklich starke Teams treffen aufeinander. Leider ist es ein Handicap Match und daher auch wenig überraschend, dass Evolution gewinnt. Das Women's Match danach ist absoluter Trash. Das Cruiserweight Titlematch danach ist okay und hat ein sehr starkes Lineup. Leider leidet es etwas unter der Stipulation. Goldberg vs Lesnar danach ist nicht wirklich gut. Lesnar ist definitiv nicht der richtige um einen GOldberg durchs Match zu ziehen und da hilft auch Austin als Referee wenig. Beide sind aber sehr ähnlich und daher passt das Matchup. Das Tag Team Titlematch danach war schwächer und glücklicherweise kürzer als das erste. Victoria vs Molly Holly ist nicht schlecht, geht aber leider viel zu kurz um sein Potential auszuschöpfen, sind es doch die beiden besten von damals. Eddie Guerrero vs Angle ist sehr stark und ein technisch hervorragendes Match. Überraschenderweise gewinnt Eddie, was sehr geil ist. Undertaker besiegt Kane zum zweiten mal bei Mania und diesmal noch schneller mit Bearer auf seiner Seite. Und der ME ist das MOTN und eines der besten Threeway Matches ever. Eine geniale Ansetzung und Benoit ist eine unglaubliche Bereicherung in diesem Match. Am Ende schafft er es tatsächlich auch zu gewinnen, was einer der verdientesten ME Siege ever ist und der Moment mit Eddie ist großartig."

[6.0] "Decent show. Got three great matches with the rest of the card being okay to bad. The atmosphere was great though with the stage being iconic. Best to worst: Chris Jericho vs. Christian - [****1/4]. Chris Benoit vs HHH vs HBK - [****]. Evolution vs. The Rock 'n' Sock Connection - [****]. Cruiserweight Classic - [***]. The Big Show vs. John Cena - [**1/2]. Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle - [**]. Raw Tag Match - [**]. Molly Holly vs Victoria - [**]. SD Tag Match - [**]. Kane vs. The Undertaker - [*1/2]. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg - [1/2*]. Miss Jackie & Stacy Keibler vs. Sable & Torrie Wilson - [DUD]."

[9.0] "It's not a perfect show, but I have a lot of appreciation for the 20th edition of Wrestlemania. The main event remains one of the best built and executed in WWE history, and some undercard matches exploded off the screen with strong stories and great action, like Jericho/Christian and Rock n Sock/Evolution. I really enjoy Eddie/Angle as well, and I don't care what anyone says, I thought Kane/Taker was perfectly good for the story they were trying to tell, top notch way to reintroduce Taker. Beyond that the matches aren't much to write home about, but most are fine, with the exception of the eye-rolling gown match and the excruciating Goldberg/Lesnar disappointment. Still, this show had great build up and executed on almost all the major points, and the crowd was loving it to the end (again, excluding Lesnar/Goldberg! )."

[7.0] "This was definitely not a perfect show nor was it close. Most of the matches were bad to terrible and the PPV was pretty much built on four matches. But those four were excellent. There were also some moments that gave me chills and just made this event feel super special. Moments like the Hall of Fame segment and Mr McMahon's thank you speech were fantastic. Some other notes were I really liked Randy Orton's promo segment and The Rock's promo segment building the handicap match. three of the more famous matches from this card were terrible. Those being Cena vs Big Show, Lesnar vs Goldberg, and Undertaker vs Kane. I will say for Lesnar vs Goldberg, The promo package was great and the match seemed huge during entrances and they did good to make me want to see the match. That is until it actually started. For Undertaker vs Kane, the promo package was also very good and that seemed like a big match. I'll also say that Undertaker's entrance was a high point and was great. The two four way tag matches were both bad, but of the two, the Smackdown one was slightly better in my opinion. Both women's matches were not good. In the women's title match, Jerry Lawler's commentary was atrocious. I will give credit to the cruiserweight open. I thought it was pretty fun. There was a good variety of names in the match that were good to see. Some standouts in the match that impressed me were Billy Kidman, Jamie Noble, and Nunzio. Of the four matches that made this show were, in this order, Christian vs Chris Jericho, Evolution vs Rock N' Sock Connection, Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle, and Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H. They were all really great, especially the main event which is the best match of the night and one of the best Wrestlemania matches ever. The ending with Benoit and Guerrero celebrating in the ring was really great. The worst match was either Molly Holly vs Victoria or Lesnar vs Goldberg."

[8.0] "1) *** The match is just decent, but that's not about quality: MSG was hot, everybody wanted John to win and when he did the arena exploded. This is a perfect opener. 2) *** Watchable Raw stuff 3) Talking about the story, I wish we had good, captivating stuff like this these days; instead we have Lashley's sisters... The match is of course pretty good ***3/4 4) ***1/2 Typical WWE match, action wasn't amazing, but charisma hides it 5) Just a hot break 6) *** Rey vs Kidman or Chavo or Noble would have been better 7) ** Bad, but not in a bad way. This was so surreal that was even entertaining 8) *** Just like the second match. 9) *** Short, decent match between 2 of the best of the division 10) **** The usual great match you saw even at SD 11) *1/2 Just awful 12) ****1/2 Top 3 best Mania main event ever. WM20 is one of the most WWE-esque event ever: some great things, some entertaining things, some bad things, some controversial things. It was a very good Mania, but a bit overrated. To me it is between 7, 5 and 8."

[10.0] "Sehr gute Wrestlemania, unterhalten haben mich vor allem die beiden Tag Team Matchen, aber auch das Cruiserw. Match. Auch Goldberg vs Lesnar fand ich irgendwie bizar und daher schon wieder gut. Es gab keine Ausfälle, alle Matches wussten zu überzeugen. Verstört war ich nur das am Ende Benoit und Guerreo Champions waren, naja, viele fanden das das ja gut, jeden das seine, ich mag da dann doch lieber die Big Männer, die mit Goldberg und Lesnar leider die Liga verließen."

[7.0] "I think that sincerely this is the most overrated WrestleMania of alla times. I just saw it and ok It is out of time I am not involved in the storyline but in my opinion it was bad, it was really bad in some cases it seems like to be at a ? very normal? Monday Night Raw. For the first three hours it was almost nothing ... or nothing to be Remembered as a ? WrestleMania Moment? . Chris Jericho and Christian match was a good match , but the one match that you forget to have seen after 1 month, ... the Evolution vs Rock and Sock connection was a very good match, entertaining and with some great funny moments , some great near fall with a very good finish (I would rate it 7. 5). The capacity of WWE to create great storyline at the time with a logical sense continued over the time was amazing and the case is of Foley vs Orton feud. For the rest in the undercard there were Nothing great... NOTHING... Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar Will be remembered forever but it wasn? t a great match it was awful... the crowd didn? t help to create a great match but itself was terrible... The big 3 matches were Great... but they arrived after 3 hours of event . Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle match was fantastic. Not a ? classic? but a very great match. Great counters , great falls finish , and a finishing sequence that itself was terrible (mostly for the WrestleMania stage) but that fit with the story of the match perfectly. Undertaker? s returns was goosebumps. I loved his entrance and the story of the match with Kane. Kane was great to interpret the role (fantastic the scene ? you are not real ? ) ... The match Itself was a squash but I loved it becouse I am a great fan of storytelling and of paranormal things ... Undertaker is the best gimmick ever not for nothing. The main event was the real deal. The greatest triple threat match ever probably. Drama action , flawless manouvers and a great story. The aftermatch itself worth the price of the ticket ."

[8.0] "Der Opener ist absolut okay und bietet mit dem ersten Maniamatch von Cena und dann auch noch seinem Sieg einen geschichtsträchtigen Moment. Das Tag Team Title Match ist dann auf einem ähnlichen Niveau. Das erste Match auf besserem Niveau ist Jericho gegen Christian, wobei letzterer in seiner Heelrolle eine gute Figur macht. Das Finish ist dann gut weil es zur Story passend ist. Ich finde das 3 on 2 danach im Vergleich etwas schwächer aber auch anständig. Die Highlights sind vor Allem die Exchanges von Flair und the Rock und jede steuert eigentlich etwas zu dem Match bei. Heel und Faceverteilung ist hier auch gut umgesetzt. Dann kommt für mich mit dem Playboy Evening Gown Match der Tiefpunkt des Abends, der gottseidank schnell abgehakt ist. Die Cruiserweight Title Open Challenge ist dafür dann wieder ein anständiges Match, das nicht übermäßig spektakulär aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt langweilig ist mit gutem Matchfluss. Das Kann man über Goldberg gegen Lesnar leider nicht sagen: Ja ich verstehe das von der Story her am Anfang aber das dauert mir dann doch alles etwas zu lange. Erst gegen Ende ist etwas Spannung da. Das zweite Four Way Tag Title Match ist quasi copy and paste des ersten. Das zweite Frauenmatch ist natürlich klar das bessere und selbst in der Kürze der Zeit zeigen beide, dass sie durchaus wrestlerisch was können. Dann kommt mit Guerrero Angle das zweitbeste Match des Abends mit der Story des aggressiven aber auch klinisches Bodypartwork betreibenden Angles gegen den Underdog Guerrero, der doch noch einen Weg findet, zu gewinnen. Kane gegen Undertaker ist dann mehr eine Storymatch mit ein paar ganz guten Momenten bevor das ME zum MOTN wird, da alle drei ihre Rollen sehr gut ausfüllen, es nie Leerlauf gibt, Härte und auch Storytelling durch Bezüge und Imitationen. Alles in Allem zieht dieses Weltklassematch dieses Mania für mich noch auf 8, dass auch davor ein gutes und zwei anständige Matches hatte aber auch einen Tiefpunkt und vieles dazwischen."

[7.0] "Wrestlemania 20 gehört in meine Top 10 aller WMs. Mit 12 Matches enthält sie die vollste Card aller WMs der Neuzeit. Ein wenig zu vollgepackt muss man sagen. Nicht alle Matches haben die nötige Relevanz und/oder Qualität. Anderen Matches fehlt wiederum naturgemäß Zeit um sich richtig zu entfalten. WM 20 startet mit einer soliden Anfangsphase. Der Opener zwischen Cena und Big Show ist ganz gefällig, der Hüne auf den Schultern Cenas ist ein großartiges Bild. Das erste 4way Tag Team Match ist das bessere der beiden, auch wenn es ein bisschen fahrig und nicht besonders stringent ist. Mit Christian vs Y2J und Evolution vs Rock & Sock gibt es hier bereits zwei starke Matches, denen zum Showstealer aber eine Kleinigkeit fehlt. Der Mittelteil ist klarer Schwachpunkt dieser WM. Zwischen den Fillern steht mit Lesnar vs Goldberg eine große Enttäuschung, die Potenzial für deutich mehr hätte. Leider nicht zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Karrieren. Die Lustlosigkeit und Langatmigkeit nevt (nicht nur) die Crowd. Die Schlussphase dieser WM ist richtig stark. Guerrero vs Angle ist technisch und psychologisch mehr als ansprechend und das Ende ist durchaus innovativ. Taker vs Kane ist zum Glück kurz gehalten, da nicht sonderlich stark. Der Mainevent gehört zu den besten WM-Mainevents überhaupt und stellt das vielleicht beste Triple Threat überhaupt dar. Insgesamt abgerundete 7."

[6.0] "The build up for this PPV was awsome, but Wrestlemania XX really disappointing me. Only 4 in 12 matches are watchable. The crowd was bored for the most of the show because you have too many matches that doesnŽt deserve to be on the card. The epic Main Event save the show."

[7.0] "Good Mania just because the Main Event was legendary. Cena vs Show was good to put Cena over but bad in terms of wrestling, can't really blame Cena to be honest - **. The Fatal 4 Way tag was too short - **1/2. Christian vs Jericho had a good match, they don't need much to do much to have a good match - ***1/2. Evolution vs Foley and The Rock was really good - ***1/2. Playboy Match - DUD. Cruiserweight Open Match was weird to me - the CW's were poorly booked back then - **. Goldberg vs Lesnar was an awful match to be fair - *. The other fatal four way once again too short - **1/2. The Women's Match - DUD. Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle had a pretty good match even though I felt as a fan of both they could've done better but this was a really good smart technical match and the ending was really clever - ***3/4. Taker vs Kane was a squash match that really, I didn't care - **. The Main Event is by far the best thing on this PPV, loved the intensity, the spots, the drama, psychology, selling of the three men, everything was just more than perfect, my favorite Triple Threat Match in WWE and my 2004 MOTY and to be fair my favorite Wrestlemania Main Event- ***** (glad they put Benoit over that year, he really deserved it)"

[7.0] "Also von den Jubiläums Manias mal nur gesehen würde ich WM 30 sogar über WM 20 stellen. Weil es hier einige schwache Matches wie das Rock Match, Brock vs Goldberg absolute Frechheit und Undertaker vs Kane was gut war aber leider viel zu kurz. Dann natürlich starke Matches wie Kurt vs Eddie und Christian vs Jericho und natürlich der Main Event. Also von der Match Qualität (im Vergleich mit WM 30) besser Aber die gesamte Show nicht so ganz. Die Mania kommt auch nicht an die der Vorjahre ran (17, 18, 19) Trotzdem garantiert in der Top 10 aber überbewertet"

[10.0] "Wenn ich mir Heute Wrestlemania 20 anschaue, kommt doch Nostalgie in mir auf. Wrestlemania 10 war meine erste PPV Veranstaltung und 10Jahre danach bin ich wieder im Garden. Ich sehe diesen PPV als Reise alte WCW Stars gepaart mit aufsteigenden Stars(Opener). Stars der 90er Dudleys vs Booker T&RVD. Chris Jericho der mich seit 1997 gut unterhält. Evolution(Batista&Randy Orton hatten die Zukunft noch vor sich)gegen Attitude Ära. Okay danach kommt sehr viel Leerlauf. Goldberg vs Lesnar ein Traummatch aber eher weil die Fans so Reaktionen zeigen. Tag Team Titel Match ist zu kurz, Victoria vs Molly ist interessant. Dann wird es Klassisch Eddie vs Kurt ich Liebe dieses Match, weil Eddie als Champion verlacht wurde damals aber er in diesem Match alles her zauberte was es brauchte! Undertaker vs Kane war in der Attitude Ära schon nicht mein Ding hier gab es nochmal Kalten Kaffee. Der Main Event zeigt die Klasse aller drei, auch warum Chris es verdient hätte in die HoF zu kommen. Chris Benoit hatte ein schwarzes Wochenende 2007 aber er hat uns auch begeistert und das vergisst die WWE meiner Ansicht nach. Fazit:Ein PPV der aus Unterschiedlicher Sicht Spaß macht. Der 10Jahre WWE & WCW miteinander Vereint. Daher vergebe ich für diesen PPV 10Punkte"

[7.0] "Opener war wirklich nicht schlecht. Cena darf den US Titel gegen Show gewinnen, wenn auch für heutige Cena Verhältnisse mit Heelmaßnahmen. Das erste Tag Team Four Way Match war ebenso wie das zweite ein ziemliches Pausenmatch, bei dem man sich auch ruhhig ander weitig beschäftigen konnte. Christian gegen Y2J war dann auch okay, mit Hinblick auf die Story vorher mit Trish etc. Beide zeigen in knapp 15 Minuten gute Moves und ein überraschendes Ende. Evolution gegen Rock 'n Socko war auch okay und hat Spaß gemacht. Das Playboy Evening Gown Match war dann eher was EyeCandy Mäßiges. Mit guten Wrestling wurde hiere nicht gepunktet. Aber Unterhalten hat es trotzdem. Cruiserweight Match hat dann nicht wirklich Überzeugt, hätte ich persönlich mehr von erwartet. Lesnar gegen Goldberg lebte dann auch weniger von guten Wrestling als mehr durch die Namen und ebenso die Big Match Atmosphäre. Aber man kann es nicht allen Recht machen. Womens Titel vs. Hair Match war dann wirklich naja, kein wirklich gutes Match. WWE Heavyweight Match war dann eines der highlights. Gutes Match zwischen Latino Heat und Angle. Wobei man auch weiß, beide können noch deutlich mehr. Taker gegen Kane war halt wieder typisch. Man weiß ja mittlerweile, die Streak ging weiter und somit kaum überraschend. Wobei der Vorbericht war wirklich episch und hat Bock drauf gemacht. Der Main Event war dann auch mein persönliches Highlight des Abends, alle drei zeigen gute Moves, tolles Wrestling und am Ende gewinnt Benoit seinen Titel, dem man ihm wirklich könnt, vorallem nach der Reaktion die er dann beim Sieg zeigt. Alles in allem nicht so gut wie in den Vorjahren, aber eben auch nicht schlecht. 7 Punkte."

[7.0] "Mehr als 7 Punkte sind hier leider nicht drin, da es leider doch einige schwache Matches gab. Cena gegen Big Show war maximal solide, aber es war der Beginn von Cenas großer Karriere. Das Tag Title Match war schwach wie auch das SD Tag Match später am Tag. Rock und Sock gegen Evolution war gut wie auch Christian gegen Chris Jericho, ich sehe hier beide Matches ungefähr auf dem selbem Niveau. Die Damen war nur fürs Auge da. Die zwei Enttäuschungen des Tages waren eindeutig Goldberg vs. Lesnar und Kane gegen den Undertaker. Goldberg gegen Lesnar befindet sich im Minusbereich des Sterneratigns so schlecht war dieses Match, beim anderen Match war wenigstens Undertakers Entrance stark insziniert. Das WWE Title Match war gut, auch wenn hier mehr drin war, das Finish war aber auch sehr schlau. Mit dem Mainer hat man das Absolute Highlight des Tages und das beste Triple Threat in der WWE Geschichte."

[8.0] "Wrestlemania XX hatte einer der besten Cards, die eine Wrestlemana je hatte, doch konnte sie leider nicht ganz das Versprechen, was sich viele Leute von dieser Veranstaltung erhofften. Trotzdem gehört sie für mich zu den 10 besten Wrestlemania's, die es jemals gab, da sie doch einige gute Matches bot und viele großartige Momente hatte. Es bleiben vor allem natürlich immer wieder die guten Matches zwischen Christian und Jericho und auch Evolution und Rock 'n' Sock hängen, die dann von Angle vs. Eddie und dem großartigen Triple Threat überboten wurden. Abgesehen davon hatte sie mit Big Show vs. Cena und mit der Rückkehr des Undertakers auch 2 tolle Momente, die mir auch noch bis heute im Kopf hängen geblieben sind. Das Lowlight dieser Veranstaltung war ohne Zweifel Lesnar vs. Goldberg, wofür die 2 aber auch ihre Quittung bekommen haben. Alles in allem war das also eine gute Veranstaltung, die leider etwas zu viel Fillermaterial hatte. Über dem Ende dieser Wrestlemania hängt natürlich leider ein Schatten."

[6.0] "Except for the very significant main event and post-match celebration, it was a pretty unremarkable event with very few good matches, lots of forgettable ones and some pretty awful ones. I remember being looking forward to the Taker (returning with the deadman gimmick) vs Kane match and being completely disappointed. Another disappointment was how the Women's title match (which was doing pretty well) between two of the best female workers in the history of WWE was cut short, with the haircut post-match angle having more time than the match itself... while Goldberg and Lesnar had 13 awfully long, boring minutes. Meh."

[8.0] "Der Opener war wrestlerisch nicht auf hohem Niveau. Dafür war das Match aber total unterhaltsam und der Titelwechsel rundet die Sache gut ab (**1/4). Das erste Tag Team Title Match war schwach. Das hatte bei WM nichts zu suchen (*3/4). Christian/Jericho war das erste große Highlight. Tolle Technik und ein gutes Tempo, dazu der Turn von Trish (***3/4). Das Handicap Match ließ einen guten Kampf folgen. Allerdings finde ich es schade, dass Rock und Foley sich für Evolution hingelegt haben (***1/2). Das Playboy Evening Gown Tag Team Match sehe ich nicht als richtiges Match. Hier wird nur dem Auge etwas geboten (DUD). Das Cruiserweight Open Match war ganz nett und hatte auf jeden Fall seine Momente. Solides Match für die Midcard (**1/2). Goldberg/Lesnar war ein klarer Tiefpunkt. Die Crowd war Top, das Match unterirdisch und eine komplette Enttäuschung (3/4*). Das zweite Tag Team Title Match war noch schlechter als das Erste (*1/4). Victoria/Molly Holly bildet den absoluten Tiefpunkt. Bei Lesnar/Goldberg war wenigstens die Crowd richtig gut, aber hier stimmte gar nichts (1/2*). Guerrero/Angle zeigen dann, wie es richtig geht. Gutes Match, jedoch fehlte der letzte Schritt zum Klassiker (***3/4). Die Rückkehr des Undertakers war sehr beeindruckend. Das Match war leider das Gegenteil (**). Der Main Event ist mit Abstand MOTN. Eines der besten Triple Threat Matches aller Zeiten und der Sieg Benoits geht auch klar (****3/4). Insgesamt eine sehr gelungene WM, dennoch gab es neben den Top Matches (Main Event, Guerrero/Angle... ) auch viel Schrott in der Midcard."

[9.0] "Einer der besten Manias, mit Cena vs Big Show gibt es einen durchschnittlichen Opener, der schnell ging und gut in die Show eingeführt hat, guter Start. World Tag Title Match war was ähnliches, schnell, ok, fertig. Dann kam Jericho vs Christian, und dort hatten wir das erste richtig gute Match, beide haben ein sehr gutes Storytelling hingelegt, ****! Three on one Handycap fande ich gleich noch besser, wirklich sehr schönes, gutes, technisches Match. (****1/4) Das Playboy Match war dann eher als Downer gedacht, klar war es nicht gut, aber es war dafür da um die Fans wieder runterkommen zu lassen und um zu unterhalten. Cruiserweight Match war gut, aber auch nicht weiter besonders, trotzdem unterhaltsam. Dann kam eines der schlechtesten Matches aller Zeiten: Goldberg vs Lesnar. Mehr will ich dazu nicht sagen ausser: *1/2! Das Tag Title Match danach hat zum glück die Stimmung wieder aufgelockert. Danach verlor Molly Holly die Haare, kurz unterhaltsam, aber auch nichts mehr. Es wurde in der Mitte ein wenig langweilig, doch dann kam Eddie Guerrero vs Angle, boah war dieses Match gut! Fantastisches Storytelling, geiler Aufbau, geiles Finish, beide mit einer tollen chemie, ****1/2. Taker vs Kane war nicht sonderlich gut, aber es war ein Gänsehaut Match dank der Rückkehr des Deadmans, somit habe ich nichts daran auszusetzen. (***). Main Event time: Das beste Triple treath Match aller Zeiten! HBK und Benoit hatten eine wunderbare Chemie im Ring, erst schönes technisches Wrestling, dann wurde es hardcore (somit waren auch die hardcore-fans glücklich), es war spannend bis zum ende da alle Benoit als sieger wollten, und dann kam das Finish, vielleicht ein wenig zuu lang im Crossface aber wen interessiert das schon, Benoit ist neuer Champ und das ist ein Moment für die Ewigkeit wie er und Guerrero miteinander im Ring feierten und in Tränen ausbrachen. Fazit: Einder der besten Manias, in der Mitte wurde es ein wenig lahm, deswegen einen Punkt abzug, ansonsten wirklch top,"

[8.0] "Eddie and Benoit were the right people and that's the overriding theme of the show - both World title matches were excellent, but the lowercard was fairly hit and miss. For the rest of the card, only Jericho/Christian and Evolution/Rock n Sock were particularly good. The US title, tag title, cruiserweight stuff was decent/passable, Kane and Taker wasn't a great match but it was the beginning of Taker's greatest era gimmick-wise and deserves extra points for that. The womens title match was rushed and with a stipulation I'm not sure anyone wanted to see, Lesnar/Goldberg was obviously a massive farce but the 'Playboy "Evening Gown" Match' where Sable, empowered as ever, decides wrestling in an evening gown is so restrictive! Miss Jackie doesn't want to take her gown off so she's thrown into the ring and forced out of her clothes by the other women - right on! This is possibly the most disgusting, pathetic thing under the guise of a 'match' I've possibly ever seen - for everything I miss about this era, shit like this slaps some context back into me. Nearly pushes this very memorable and important show down to a 7, but I refuse to give it even that much credit."

[8.0] "1. Opener war damals noch frisch, trotzdem kam kein gutes Match heraus. Der Sieg Cenas geht hier voll in Ordnung. (1 1/4*)2. Das RAW World Tag Team Title Match war schlecht. (1 1/4*)3. Mit Christian gegen Jericho gab es das erste gute Match. Leider wurde es nicht der erhoffte Showstealer. Trotzdem gab es mit dem Turn von Trish einen kleinen Shocker, wenn man bedenkt was Christian mit ihr getan hat. (3 3/4*) 4. Das Handicap war dann doch eine Enttäuschung. Trotzdem Hut ab vor Rock & Foley, dass sie sich für die Jungen hinlegten. (2 3/4*) 5. Das Playboy Match war rein für die Optik. Match selber war grottig. (0*) 6. Von der Cruiserweight Open war ich doch etwas enttäuscht. Warum brachte man hier nicht ein Triple Threat zw. Guerrerro/Mysterio und den motivierten Kidman. Dieser sorgt auch mit der Shooting Star für den Move des Matches. (3*) 7. Goldberg gegen Lesnar ist woll eines der schlechtesten WM Matches aller Zeiten. Zudem versaut Austin auch noch den Kick vor dem Stunner gegen Goldberg. (-*)8. Das SD TTTM ist sogar eine Spur schwächer als das von RAW. (1 1/4*)9. Das Womens Championship Match war für die beiden dann eher schwach. (1 1/2*) 10. Das WWE Championship Match war das zweitbeste an diesem Abend. (3 3/4*)11. Taker gegen Kane war schwach. Einzig die Rückkehr des Deadman Gimmicks bleibt in Erinnerung. (1*)12. Der ME mit dem Aftermath ist legendär. Harte Schlacht der drei Männer mit dem richtugen Gewinner. (5*) Eine mit einigen Highlights aber fast mehr Crap. Negativ bleibt die Schlacht der Monster in Erinnerung. Positiv aber sich das WHC Match mit dem legendären Aftermath Szenen."

[10.0] "Eine der besten Wrestlemanias aller Zeiten mit einer unheimlichen Dichte an großen Matches und einem großartigen, emotionalen Finale, welches aus heutiger Sicht leider auch tragisch wirkt und für einen Kloß im Hals beim Betrachten sorgen kann."

[8.0] "Der Opener war damals noch frisch und ist logisch gebookt. Kein Kanller, aber der richtige Start (*1/2) Im World Tag Title Match ist trotz 4 Teams erschreckend wenig los (*1/2) Y2J vs. CLB siehe Matchguide (***3/4) 3 on2 siehe MG (***1/4) Playboy Evening Gown war schön anzusehen. Wenn man die In Ring Action ignoriert (DUD) Die CW Open ist recht solide, aber leider verhunzte man das Finish. Ein Singles Match zwischen Chavo & Rey oder ein Triple Threat mit dem motivierten Kidman wäre vielleicht die bessere Lösung gewesen (*3/4) Lesnar vs. Goldberg ist ein kontroverses Snoozefest. Ich frag mich, ob der Matchverlauf aus Trotz so lahm war oder ob der wirklich so gebookt war (*) Tag Team Title Match siehe die Raw Version (*1/2) Womens Title Match ist aufgrund der Matchzeit natürlich nix. Der Ausgang war aufgrund der Stipulation zudem offensichtlich (1/4*) WWE Championship siehe MG (***3/4) Taker vs. Kane ist enttäuschend. Völlig unspektakulärer Matchverlauf. Einfach den grandiosen Entrance vom Taker anschauen und dann vorspulen (3/4*) Main Event siehe MG (****1/2) Diese Wrestlemania hat bei mir einen emotionalen Stellenwert, da es meine erste war. So Momente, wie der Turn von Trish, Eddies Sieg, Takers Entrance und das absolut emotionale Ende (das ich heute leider nicht mehr mit den selben Augen wie noch vor 11 Jahren sehen kann) haben sich bei mir eingebrannt und gehören zu meinen liebsten WM Momenten. Wenn ich mir die Show heute ansehe merke ich natürlich schon wie zäh diese Verasntaltung sein kann. Man muss sich durch einige Filler kämpfen bis dann die guten Matches kommen oder die erhofften Highlights. Wenigstens delivern ein Großteil der gut aufgebauten Matches, während die enttäuschenden trotzdem in erinnerung bleiben (Lesnar vs. Goldberg! ). Durch die Abweschlunsgreiche Matcharten verkommt diese Wm allerdings nicht zu einer Marathon Wrestlemania wie einige der älteren Ausgaben. Da mir die Show immer noch am Herzen liegt, drücke ich ein Auge zu und gebe 8 Punkte."

[6.0] "Durchschnittlicher PPV. Der Opener war in Ordnung. Da hat Cena direkt bei seiner ersten Wrestlemania einen Achtungserfolg. Kaum zu glauben das er nur ein Jahr später den WWE Titel gewonnen hat. Das Fatal 4 Way Tag-Team Match war schlecht. Zuerst sollte man nicht beide Tag-Team Championships im selben Match verteidigen lassen. Zweitens Cade und Jindrak waren überbewertete Wrestler und überhaupt kein gutes Team genauso wie RVD und Booker T. Christian vs Y2J war in Ordnung. Ein Einroller bei Wrestlemania sehe ich ungern. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt das Trish überraschend turned. Rock'n'Sock Connection vs Evolution war in Ordnung. Für mich wäre es besser gewesen ein Six Man Tag-Team Match zu machen. Ein klarer Nachteil für die Legenden wo Orton Foley pinnen durfte. Die Divas waren sehr schlecht. So viel zum Evening Gown Match. Für den Beschau gut für das Wrestling nicht gut. Die Cruiserweight Open war gut. Wie gewohnt sind die Cruiserweights gut für den Showstealer. Funaki darf ganze drei Sekunden kämpfen und Ultimo Dragon war wohl der größte Witz auf Erden. Kidman und Noble haben mir am besten gefallen. Ich hätte denen zwanzig Minuten von mir aus gegönnt. Lesnar vs Goldberg war grauenhaft. Das wohl schlechteste Match was ich je bei einem PPV gesehen habe. Goldberg verzieht sich nach nur einem Jahr und kam nie wieder. Lesnar kam immerhin nach sieben Jahren wieder. Außerdem waren die Fans fantastisch. Das Fatal 4 Way Tag-Team Match #2 war schlecht. Zwei gleiche Matches ohne jeglichen Einfall für beide Brands. Sogar das hier war noch schlechter als das von RAW. Die Divas #2 waren schlecht. Standart und Molly kriegt ihre Haare ab. Angle vs Eddie war sehr gut. Technisch hochanspruchsvoll. Alles hat perfekt gesessen und selbst das Ende hat mich vom Hocker gerissen. Kane vs Undertaker war schlecht. Das Comeback des Deadman nach Jahren aber vom Match her eines der schlechtesten der Undertaker Streak. Der Main-Event war exzellent. Fantastisch. Der PPV ist für mich überbewertet."

[9.0] "Ordentlicher Opener mit der damals noch nicht todgelaufenen John Cena gegen Goliath-Story. Bemerkenswert ist auch das Cena sich hier zum Sieg screwed und das Publikum das feiert. Das Tag Team Match war dann ein typisches Filler-Match und einfach nur da. Y2J gegen Christian war dann das erste wirklich gute Match des Abends mit einer super Hintergrund-Story, die hier auch genial durch den Turn von Trish weitergeführt wird. Evolution gegen die Rock 'n' Sock Connection setzte gleich das nächste Highlight. Starke Besetzung und schön das die "Altstars" keine Egomanen sind und den kommenden Star pushen. Das "Damen-Match" war vollkommen überflüssig, aber für Wrestlemania und vorallem Vince McMahon typsich. Die Cruiserweight Open war durchaus unterhaltsam und konnte Chavo als verhassten Champion weiter etablieren. Tiefpunkt des Abends war dann das "Dream-Match" Goldberg vs Lesnar. Keine Ahnung, ob das Match von Anfang an so schlecht geplant war oder ob das die Reaktion der Worker auf das unfassbar schlechte Publikum war. Die Chants waren eine absolute Frechheit, zumindest Lesnar gegenüber, der das WWE-Publikum 2 Jahre lang fantastisch unterhalten hatte. Das folgende Tag Team Match war auch einfach nur da und das Damentitel-Match wurde von der toten Crowd komplett gekillt. Zwei fähige Workerinnen in einem Hair-Match und das Publikum zeigt Null Reaktion. Keine Ahnung warum man die New York Crowd für toll hält. An diesem Abend war sie eine Katastrophe. Eddie gegen Angle war ein wirklich gutes Match, dass aber leider nicht ganz so genial war wie ich erhofft hatte. Trotzdem gute Unterhaltung. Kane gegen den Undertaker war dan zwar kein Brüller, aber ganz bestimmt auch keines der wirklich schlechten Taker-WM-Matches. Ausserdem war die Story gut und wir haben endlich wieder den Deadman zurückbekommen. Deshalb alles gut! Der Mainer war dann ein absoluter Klassiker und grandioser Abschluss einer denkwürdigen Jubiläums-Wrestlemania!"

[8.0] "Die Gratwanderung zwischen voller Card und ansprechenden Matches gelingt der WWE nicht ganz. Bedenkt man, dass dann auch sehnlichst erwartete Matches wie Goldberg vs. Lesnar (wenn auch in typischer MSG-Stimmung) oder Taker gegen Kane den Erwartungen nicht Stand halten konnten, kann man trotz bemerkenswerter Rock'n Sock Re-Union, stimmungsvollem Opener und genialem Main-Event leider keine 10 Pkt. geben. Zu den erwähnten Eckpfeilern kommen eine Handvoll netter Filler-Partien, welche mit Ausnahme vom stimmungsvoll angenommenen Opener und der Begegnung zwischen Jericho und Captain Charisma jedoch nicht weiter bemerkenswert sind. Aber bleiben wir fair - die Show hat einige echte Momente und wird kaum langweilig - und darum ist das wirklich ein gutes Jubiläum für die Mutter aller Großveranstaltungen."

[8.0] "WMXX wird überschattet nach den Titelgewinn von Benoit und Titelverteidigung von Guerrero, wo beide am Ende gemeinsam im Ring feierten. Gänsehaut-Feeling."

[10.0] "Meine Lieblings-Wrestlemania. Sicherlich gibt es einige schwache Momente, aber auch viele Segmente und Matches die dafür locker entschädigen. Besonders die Begegnungen Jericho/Christian, Eddie/Angle und der 3-Way Mainevent, die Segmente um Mean Gene und Bobby Heenan, Mick Foleys und Triple Hs Selling und der gesamte Aufbau des PPVs stechen für mich hervor. Zum Schluss stehen zwei meiner Lieblingswrestler, mit Benoit sogar mein All-Time-Favorite siegreich in der Mitte des Rings und beweisen, dass harte Arbeit, unzählige Entbehrungen und absolute Hingabe, kurz die Liebe zu diesem Business letztendlich doch vom Erfolg gekrönt werden."

[8.0] "Die Jubiläums WM aus dem MSG war gut. Ein sehr langer PPV mit vielen Matches. Leider waren einige davon eher schwach und zu kurz. Dafür waren auch ein paar Matches gut und vor allem der Main Event ist einfach nur weltklasse und mit dem Titelgewinn von Benoit absolut sehenswert. Dann noch die Rückkehr des Undertakers, das amüsante Schauspiel mit Lesnar/Goldberg und ein paar nette Segmente (z. b. Bobby Heenan). Alles in allem gebe ich dem PPV noch eine knappe 2 als Note."

[6.0] "Der Opener war genau so, wie man es erwartet hat. Zwei 4-Ways um die TT-Gürtel ist unkreativ, aber es sollten bei dieser Jubiläums-Veranstaltung wohl alle auf die Card. Jeder mit ein paar Moves und dann war Schluss. Christan vs Jericho der erste Hingucker an diesem Abend, wobei ich den Heel-Turn von Trish niemals für möglich gehalten hätte, aber ok. Match 4 war wie das Erste. Nur war hier war auch der Kampf gut. PEGM: Typischer WM-Müll, aber was solls. Chavo hatte dann leichtes Spiel. Hier wäre ein Leiter-Match viel besser gewesen. Goldberg vs Lesnar: Die Fans sind 1a+. Buhen beide aus. Das Interessanteste war, dass sich ein Fan in Hulk-Hogan-Manier das T-Shirt vom Leib gerissen hat. Wieder dann ein Schocker bei den Damen: Molly ohne Haare. Eddie im technisch starken HW-Title Match mit dem nächsten Trick. Die Rückkehr vom Taker war unerwartet langweilig. Im ultrakrassen Gegensatz dazu der Mainer. Die Umarmung zwischen Eddie und Benoit war Gänsehaut pur. Viele haben wohl nicht damit gerechnet, dass auch nur einer der Beiden bei der Jubiläums-Wrestlemania Champion ist bzw. bleibt."

[6.0] "Endlich kam ich mal dazu mir die rüzlich bestellte Jubiläums Wrestlemania anzuschauen: Opener *, WTT Four Way *1/4, Christian vs Y2J ***1/2, Evolution vs Rock n Sock ***1/4, Playboy 1/2*, CW Open **1/4, Lesnar vs Goldberg *3/4, TT Title Four Way *3/4, Womens Title *1/4, WWE Title ***1/2, Taker vs Kane *1/2, ME ****3/4. Die Show hatte zwar eines der besten Matche aller zeiten und auch 2 weitere wrestlerisch sehr feine Matches , dazu noch die Rock Show , aber sonst war da viel Filler die teilweise wirklich nicht schön waren. So hab ich zwar meinen Spass bei den guten Matches , muss mich aber auch durch schlechte Matches quälen. Die Fans bei lesnar vs Goldberg und der taker Einzug sind noch Highlights doch leiuder kann mich diese Mania nicht wirklich beeindrucken. ME anschauen und den rest muss man nicht gesehen haben."

[8.0] "Eine Wrestlemania mit vielen Höhen und leider auch einigen Tiefen. Der Opener war gerade so noch okay (* *), ebenso wie das ertse Tag Team Four Way (* *). Christian gegen Jericho war richtig gut, das Match war zwar ein wenig spotty aber hatte ein tolles finish (* * * 1/4) Das Handycap Match war auch gut, es lebte vor allem von Rock und Flair, die eine tolle Performance ablieferten (* * *) Das Divenmatch war glücklicherweise kurz, wonach das Cruiserweight Match wieder die Halle rockt mit Spektakulären Moves und tollen Manövern (* * *) Lesnar vs. Goldberg war als Match nicht gut, die Crowd war aber richtig genial und Austin tat sein übriges (* * 1/4) Der Four Way und das Womens Match waren nicht gut, beide * 3/4. Angle vs. Guerrero rocken derbe die Halle und hier gebe ich dem Observer recht (* * * *), wonach Taker und Kane nochmal abstinken und wieder auf die * * runtergehen. Dann kam der Main Event, der die Veranstaltung zusammen mit den Szenen danach um mindestens zwei Punkte besser darstehen lässt, HBK vs. HHH vs. Benoit ist meiner Meinung nach eines der zwei besten WWE Matches überhaupt und ich denke, man kann hier von einem Klassiker sprechen (* * * * *)"

[7.0] "Hätte man nur ein Multi Men-Tag Team Title Match und nur ein Womens/Divas Match gehabt und dafür z. B. Taker vs. Kane mehr Zeit gegeben, wäre diese Jubiläums-WM wohl noch besser geworden. Aber man wollte halt alle Worker auf der Card haben, was aber bissl gequält wirkt. So ist diese WM zwar gut (vor allem natürlich mit dem ME und den Gänsehaut-Moment danach), aber eben in seiner Gesamtheit nicht hochklassig, wie sie hätte sein können. Daher nur 7 Punkte von mir."

[6.0] "Das beste Match war der Main Event (und so soll es ja auch sein), auch Christian vs Jericho und das Handicap-Match waren sehr sehenswert. Guerrero vs Angle hat mich ein bisschen enttäuscht (ist aber wohl Geschmackssache), auch steht es dafür, dass es zu viele Titel gibt. Die beiden Tag Team Four Way Matches und das Cruiserweight Match waren mit zu vielen Beteiligten in zu wenig Zeit ziemlich überladen (weniger wäre hier mehr gewesen). Cena vs Show war Müll, mit Undertaker vs Kane kann ich auch nicht viel anfangen und Goldberg vs Lesnar war nur durch das Publikum amüsant. (Außerdem, so sehr ich Steve Austin als Wrestler mochte, hier nervte er einfach nur. ) Was die Damen angeht: Molly vs Victoria war viel zu kurz, das hätte ein gutes Match werden können. Und die Köpfe hätte man lieber allen vier Beteiligten am Playboy Match rasieren sollen. (Okay, um Stacy wäre es schon etwas schade... ) Ich weiß, Sports Entertainment ist etwas anderes als "richtiges" Wrestling, trotzdem hätte man statt der vielen Interviews und Einspieler lieber längere Matches bieten sollen. Auf DVD hat man den Vorteil, dass man gleich zum nächsten Kampf "vorspulen" kann (leider kann man nicht springen, da das Geschwätz jeweils am Beginn eines Kapitels ist), aber wenn ich mir vorstelle, mir das alles live antun zu müssen.... grauenvoll. Leider nur befriedigend, was nicht an der Leistung der Wrestler lag."

[7.0] "Die ersten beiden Matches hätte man sich sparen können, die waren nichts. Dann kam ein gutes Match, in dem Jericho und Christian beide gute Leistungen abrufen können. Das darauf folgende Match fand ich eher uninteressant, das Damenwrestling sowieso und auch die Flugshow der Cruiserweights konnte mich nicht begeistern. Das konnte Goldberg vs. Lesnat eigentlich auch nicht, aber die Crowd war so genial, dass es doch Spaß gemacht hat. Die nächsten beiden Matches waren wieder wenig, aber dann kam endlich ein Wrestlemania würdiges Match. Eddie und Kurt liefern ein starkes Match. Das Match Taker gegen Kane war viel zu kurz und wirkte deplatziert an dieser Stelle der Card. Der Main-Event war klasse und schloss eine mittelmäßige Wrestlemania noch gut ab."

[5.0] "Also erstmal war in der Halle überhaupt keine Stimmung, vom Goldberg vs. Lesnar Kampf mal abgesehen. Das sorgt schon mal für Abzüge. Dann wurde jeder noch so kleine Wrestlingzwerg des Rosters krampfhaft auf die Card gepackt, was einfach zu erzwungen und schlecht gebookt wirkte. Rock & Sock gegen Evolution war natürlich schon ein Moment, der Turn von Trish in einem vernünftigen Match und der spannenden Fehde mit Christian und Jericho. Und selbstverständlich der Main Event, der großartig war, mit dem tollen Ende. Durchschnittskost alles in allem und für ein derartiges Jubiläum zu wenig."

[8.0] "Starke Wrestlemania. allerdings vor allem aufgrund zweier Matches. Einmal natürlich der absolut erstklassige Main Event zwischen HBK, HHH und Benoit, welches ohne Frage eines der besten Triple Threads aller Zeiten darstellt. Drama, Spannung, Wrestling... alles stimmt und was kann man da noch mehr wollen (vor allem wenn man alle drei Worker gerne sieht). Eddie Guerrero gegen Angle vorher ist zwar nicht ganz so gut, aber immer noch sehr stark und ein absolut klasse Wrestling Match. Diese beiden matches sind dann auch die verdienten Highlights. Der Rest... naja. Cena/Big Show ist das, was es immer ist: Langweilig. Nicht so schlimm wie andere Matches der Beiden, aber immer noch langweilig. Die beiden Tag Team 4-Ways kann man sich ansehen, mehr als Durchschnitt sind sie aber keinesfalls. Christian/Jericho ist das Highlight der Under-/Midcard und soweit ganz gut. Evolution/Rock'N Sock Connection ist IMO eher öde, da ich a) Evolution nie etwas abgewinnen konnte (ausser den Splits) und b) in dem Match auch nix weltbewegendes geschah. Über die beiden Frauen Matches verlier ich hier mal keine weiteren Worte (ausser: mies), ebenso wenig über Lesnar/Goldberg (ausser Reinfall). Taker/Kane war auch nicht gut und der Cruiserweight 10 Way nett, aber letztendlich nichts, das in Erinnerung bleibt. Also viel Mittelmaß, einige Reinfälle, aber auch zwei Klassiker. Da mit Jericho/Christian auch in der Undercard was Gutes war, sind es noch die 8 Punkte."

[9.0] "Bei weitem wussten nicht alle Matches zu gefallen, jedoch war die Bühne unglaublich und die Länge der Show vollkommen richtig für meinen Geschmack und am Ende gab es einen der absolut schönsten Momente der Wrestling-Geschichte."

[7.0] "Match des Tages ganz klar das Triple Threat Match mit dem Sieger Chris Benoit (****3/4). Nicht schlecht war auch das Handicap Match, denn nicht nur war es das letzte Match von The Rock, sondern wurde auch große Action geboten (***3/4). Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle war langatmig, überzeugt aber durch ein gutes Finish (***1/2), und das Match zwischen Christian und Jericho ist gute Werbung für die damalige RAW-Midcard (***1/2). Lowlights sind sicher die beiden Tag Team Turmoils (jeweils *1/2) und Goldberg vs Lesnar, welches ebenfalls nur * verdient. John Cena gewinnt den United States Title von The Big Show, damit setzt ein Push ein. Kurios: In einem Jahr noch in Opener sollte Cena sich das Jahr darauf im Smackdown-Mainevent befinden (*). Das Cruiserweight Match war ansehnlich, die Crowd aber suckte derbe (**1/2). Sehenswert ist dann das Comeback des Undertakers mit dem Phenom Gimmick, das Match war auch nett und es gibt dafür **1/4 von mir weil wenig Zeit vorhanden war. Alles in allem eine 2- für Wrestlemania XX."

[7.0] "Der Opener und Goldberg vs Lesner haben mir überhaupt nicht gefallen. Lesner vs Goldberg waren 10 Minuten anstarren und 3 Minuten Wrestling. Die beiden Tag Team Matches waren mittelmäßig. Das 3 on 2 Handicap Match war dank dem Great One stark sowie Y2J vs Christian. Die beiden Championship Matches waren sehr stark und eigendlich die beiden Höhepunkte des Abends. Trotzdem war es für eine Jubieleumswrestlemania zu wenig"

[7.0] "EIne gute WM, mit Sicherheit. Ein Opener zum einheizen, was zwar nich ganz geklappt hat, inklusive Titelwechsel. Bei Christian vs. Y2J fand ich nur das Ende gut. Doch Stars wie The Rock und Mick Foley im Ring zu haben macht dann wieder einiges her. Cruiserweightler haben für meinen Geschmack nichts bei WM verloren... ! Goldberg gegen Lesnar hat ja sein eigenes Ende und war bekanntlich nicht der Bringer. Das mit dem Haare schneiden sollte ja ein paar Jahre später auch Mr. McMahon mal passieren. SM Titelmatch war vernünftig mit Eddie, aber der Knaller des Abends ohne Frage das Triple Threat: SENSATIONELL! Nur deshalb hab ich mir die WM gekauft. Ein Wahnsinn!"

[9.0] "Eine sehr gelungene Wrestlemania! Ich finde wirklich jeden Kampf sehenswert (nur die Ladies nicht, aber das ist ohne Trish und Lita meistens so). Angefangen beim stimmungsvollen Opener, über eine kurzweilige und sehr interessante Mid-Card, hin einem guten und einem fantastischen Titelkampf. Goldie vs. Brock ist für mich ein Bad-Taste-Klassiker, der allein wegen der furiosen New Yorker Crowd absolut sehenswert ist. Selbst das schwache Match Taker vs. Kane war aufgrund des Taker-Comebacks sehenswert. Nicht die beste, aber eine sehr gute Jubiläums-WM!"

[8.0] "Auch wieder eine der besten Wrestlemanias, vom Opener bis zum Main Event nur gute Matches. Abgesehen allein vom Playboy Evening Gown Match, dem Women's Match und Taker vs. Kane, wo der Einmarsch vom Taker fast länger dauert, als das Match selber. Aber alles andere ist mittelmäßig bis sehr gut, einfach schön, 8 Punkte."

[9.0] "Klasse Jubiläum, was aber mit 5 Stunden länge etwas anstrengend war."

[8.0] "John Cena vs. Big Show: Es war kein Knüller, aber der Sieg ist einer der wichtigsten Momente in Cenas Karriere und die Fans gingen wie schon beim ganzen PPV super mit.... Die beiden TT Matches konnten nicht überzeugen und gehören meiner Meinung nach auch nicht in solchen Event.... Christian vs. Jericho war das erste gute Match, aber man hätte mehr herausholen können... Auch das Match mit The Rock konnte überzeugen und war gut anzusehen.... Das Playboy Match war absoluter Müll sowas gehört nicht auf die Card... Das Cruiserweight Match hatte seine spektakulären Aktionen war aber nicht der Bringer... Goldberg gegen lesnar war schlecht aber aufgrund der Fans empfehlenswert.... WWE Womens Match war nicht gut und das Rasieren auch nur Trash... Eddie und Angle waren super und es war ein sehr gutes Match.... beim nächsten Match war nur der Einmarsch vom Taker interessant, das Match überzeugte nicht... DER ME war klasse und spannend un hatte einen guten Gewinner... Im Ganzen war es"

[8.0] "Der Opener war schwach, die beiden Tag Team Matches ok aber nicht überragend. Lesnar/Goldberg war nur wegen den Sprechchören kurzzeitig nett aber ansonsten Müll. Jericho/Christian sowie das Handicap Match waren unterhaltsam, Eddie/Angle nach lahmer Anfangsphase ziemlich stark, das Triple Threat ist aber unbestritten eines der besten Matches die es in der WWE jemals zu sehen gab. Daher trotz einiger Durchhänger 8 Punkte."

[8.0] "Mal abgesehen vom schlechten Opener und den beiden einfallslosen Tag Team Title Matches ist das eine gute WrestleMania, die ihren Namen auch zu Recht trägt."

[7.0] "Gute WrestleMania mit 4 absoluten Top Matches. Christian vs. Jericho *** 1/2, Handicap Match *** 1/2, Angle vs. Eddie ****, Triple Threat **** 3/4. Dazwischen gab es noch ein solides, aber enttäuschendes Cruiserweight Title Match. Ein aufgrund der Zuschauerreaktionen unterhaltsames Match zwischen Lesnar und Goldberg, sowie das Comeback des Undertakers. Schöne Mania."

[8.0] "Gute Wrestlemania, die allerdings den, zugegebenermaßen hohen Erwartungen nicht gerecht wurde. Lesnar vs Goldberg grenzte von der Langeweile ungefähr an ein Match von Giant Gonzales und sorgte für den negativen Höhepunkt des PPVs! Leider hatte die Veranstaltung eine Dauer von 5 Stunden, was sich negativ auf die Card, die dadurch mit vielen Trash Matches gefüllt werden musste, und negativ auf das Publikum, das an manchen Stellen absolut ausgelaugt war, auswirkte. Positiv waren beide großen Titelmatches sowie Jericho vs Christian, das auch sehr stark und vor allem vom Ausgang ein absoluter Hammer war! Rock and Sock vs Evolution war ok. Kane vs Undertaker war ein grausames Match, obwohl das Match nach dem Einzug vom Undertaker sowieso uninteressant war(man hatte das Beste ja schon gesehen). Alles in allem ist die 2 schon sehr schmeichelhaft, wenn ich auf die Menge an kurzen, oftmals schwachen Matches blicke, aber die Bilder am Ende entschädigten für vieles."

[8.0] "Eine wirklich gelungene WrestleMania mit großartigen Main Events. Der Rest konnte leider nicht 100% überzeugen, da zwar klasse Matches bei waren, aber in manchen Matches wurde das vorhandene Potential nicht ganz ausgeschöpft. Dennoch ist diese Mania, aufgrund der super Main Events ein Must Have in meinen Augen."

[8.0] "Einiges unnötiges, die Schlussbilder lassen aber vieles vergessen."

[10.0] "Die beiden fantastischen MEs entschädigen voll auf für kleinere Hänger währed der Veranstalltung. Sehr guter Event."

[8.0] "Ein PPV mit vielen Höhepunkten, vor allem der Mainevent ist heute noch eines meiner Lieblingsmatches. Doch diesen tollen Momenten werden auch schlechte gegenübergestellt(u. A. Brock vs Goldberg *kotz*). Alles in allem aber kann man über diese hinweg sehen."

[10.0] "Eine der besten wenn nicht sogar die beste Wrestlemania aller Zeiten ein unvergesslicher Main Event als sich Chris Benoit zum ersten mal World Heavyweight Champion nennen durfte Super Event."

[8.0] "Es war natürlich schon ziemlich geil die Jubiläumsausgabe von WrestleMania, aber für ne 1 reichts halt nicht weil ich vier Matches nur als Lückenfüller ansehen kann und das ist für die größte Veranstaltung im Wrestling einfach zu viel."

[8.0] "Die Jubiläumsausgabe war natürlich was ganz besonderes! Tolle Matches, die beste Rückkehr überhaupt des Undertakers eigentlich war nur Lesnar vs. Goldberg enttäuschend! Wieder eine gute WrestleMania!"

[10.0] "Eine super gelungene WM, die ihren Namen wirklich verdient. Das zweite Jubiläum hat genau wie der Vorgänger alles goboten und beinhaltet Kracher-Matches und eine geniale Atmosphäre."

[10.0] "Sehr empfehlenswert jedoch wie schon gesagt gemessen an dem Hype konnte sie die erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllen! ME war legendär!"

[10.0] "SO muss ein PPV, und dann noch eine Wrestlemania, aussehen! Für einen Benoit Fan sowieso Pflicht zu sehen wie er World Heavyweight Champion wird; die Rückkehr des Undertakers als Deadman; Eddie vs. Angle um den WWE Title; die Tag-team Matches (hätten vielleicht elimination sein können wie in 2002^^) und sogar das Women's match war ziemlich gut^^.... natürlich auch alles übrige^^. Meine Empfehlung: Unbedingt sehen!"

[8.0] "Einige wirklich starke Matches (u. a die beiden Main Events) machen diese Show praktisch zu einem Must See Event. Natürlich können bei einer 5-Stunden Show nicht alle Matches restlos überzeugen, dennoch eine Starke Vorstellung der WWE."

[8.0] "War ich damals irgendwie entäuscht von. Nicht in der Hinsicht, daß es schlecht war - keinesfalls - aber für das Jubiläum waren meine Erwartungen doch höher. Fand die 17. und 19. WrestleMania weitaus besser. Main Event war natürlich trotzdem großartig feat. Markout und unterm Strich ist eine 2 noch gerechtfertigt!"

[4.0] "Gemessen an dem Hype, der grade um die Rückkehr des Undertakers, das Comeback The Rocks und Lesnar vs. Goldberg im Vorfeld betrieben wurde, war die PPV eine herbe Enttäuschung. Jericho vs. Christian, Angle vs. Guerrero und der Main Event waren natürlich klasse, aber auch die einzigen 3 von immerhin 12 Gesamtmatches, die diese Bewertung verdienen. Bloß ein "ausreichend" zu geben mag hart sein - aber ich war halt damals ziemlich enttäuscht."

[10.0] "Die letzte WWE Show, die ich wirklich live gesehen habe, war eine sehr gute Veranstaltung. Es gab zwar eine Menge Füllmaterial, jedoch gab es sechs Matches, die alle auf ihre eigene Art und Weise den Abend unvergesslich machten: Rock & Foley teamen ein letztes Mal, Trish's Turn zu Christian, der Taker kehrt als Deadman zurück, die Zuschauer buhen Goldberg und Lesnar aus, Angle vs Guerrero und natürlich der Main Event, ein wahrer Mark-Out Moment."
